Decent sized plant nursery with a variety of indoor and outdoor plants. I've stopped here a few times to expand my succulent collection. If you like string succulents there is a large selection. I've been searching for a string of turtles and workers found me a nice one. Prices are better than large brand stores. Be sure to check out the large friendly dog near the cashier and cozy parrot nearby.

Very nice family nursery. They have all sorts of really cool house plants that are not the ordinary. Owner is super nice if you have any questions, he's there to help answer. Their family dog is also super friendly and greets all visitors. This is by far the best nursery in the area.

I leased at Gardens of DeCordova and I had a great experience with the office team and I absolutely love my apartment. I have not had any maintenance issues but I have met the maintenance guy and he was very friendly. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great apartment with a great leasing experience come here.

We were given a quote for the removal of several plants in our yard, trimming, and the pulling of weeds. When I noticed much of the agreed upon work was not being completed, a language barrier made it difficult to communicate my concerns. Regardless, I thought there was an understanding. After the service, we noticed that two large plants were not removed, only cut down at the surface, one of which was starting to regrow. We also noticed that a sprinkler was broken. I contacted the company and received an immediate response but the work was put off until the following week. When they didn’t show, I was told they got caught up at another job and would come next week. They didn’t show again because they couldn’t get in touch me that morning. I apologized and asked that they come back when available. They said they couldn’t make it that week and would call me to set up a new date and time. I never got a call. I reached out again and received the same response. Again, no one contacted me the following week. It’s been almost 2 months and the work we paid good money for will most likely never be completed.

Brian and April have a great company. I have enjoyed getting to know them over the years. I highly recommend them.

After they re-scheduled 4 times and still never showing to 2 of their appointments. I just gave up on them, since they gave up on me. Terrible customer service.

I needed a queen palm removed asap. It had a fungal rot and was worried it was going to fall down. I left 2 voicemails and also emailed them asking to contact me as soon as possible. That was last week and to date never heard back. Terrible customer service!

Brian and team have been taking care of the trees on our property for over 10 years and they are great! Great service and good prices.

Two times they were no shows on scheduled appointments of 3 hour windows that I waited for them. The first was their own scheduling mistake. The second time no alert no one picks up phone at office. No bueno!

This will be my third time using Bishop's Tree Service.
The guy that comes and gives you a quote, is the nicest, most knowledgeable person you'll ever meet.

Bishop’s Tree Service has Poor Results and Customer Service

The recap of my experience with Bishop’s Tree Service is to not recommend them.
Botched tree trimming, broken planter, wasted time with delays and cancellations and an owner who fails to fix errors his company creates.

Bishop’s Tree Service did a terrible job “trimming” my once beautiful pine tree. In November 2018, Brian Bishop admitted he sent an inexperienced new tree trimmer who did not trim the tree correctly. Brian said he would supervise redoing it correctly. He then took four months to make it worse.

I waited patiently through holidays, cancellations and no shows for four months trying to give this company a chance. In April 2019, Brian and his team showed up unannounced at 7am one morning. Brian said just a bit more needed to be done to make some corrections but then his team proceeded to hack off large limbs and destroy the shape of the pine tree.

I am still shocked and fear for the tree’s recovery. Brian had again left the job right after it started so I called him. He said he would come over the next day. Brian has never shown up or called back and it has been over two weeks.

During the original job in November, the Bishop’s Tree workers where careless in taking down limbs and broke several scrubs and broke a planter. Brian did initially agree (with photographic evidence) that his team was responsible for the damage. He then took three months to issue a check for partial reimbursement for the planter even though I had an original purchase receipt.

The only positive thing I can say about this company is that the office staff was always polite and seemed to want to help. However, every request or question has to go through Brian so they have no impact on quality of service. In summary, there are plenty of great tree service companies in the area, this is not one of them.

A tree fell on my truck, Brian Bishop cleared it off in an hour and a half with no damage to my vehicle. If you want an honest days work from an honest man, you should call Bishop's Tree Service.

The low star rating on Google really surprises me, because Bishop’s is top notch. They’ve always been reasonably priced compared to the competition and do excellent work. After having used them for several years, my trees are looking more and more beautiful over time. The only negative might be that they are in high demand in the winter so you have to wait a bit, but this is to be expected. Brian takes care of his customers and does the right thing.

I have used Bishop's a few times over the years as needed. They just trimmed 5 jacaranda trees for us. Mr. Bishop came promptly to give us a bid. I had two others. Justin and crew came a few days later. They worked efficiently, knowledgeably, and communicated well. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again!

I have used Bishop Tree Service for approximately 5 years to trim approximately 8 large trees on my property. For 2024, I called their office to get a bid on tree-trimming for this year. Brian came to my home as scheduled, gave me a quote, the trimming crew arrived as scheduled to do the work. After the work was finished to my satisfaction, the crew cleaned up, and left my property clean and neat. A 5-star approval rating for their service and for being user friendly. I will use their services again next year.

My wife and I found ourselves in urgent need of an arborist to save our huge and tree-like bougainvillea which toppled over in one of our recent storms. While Theron and crew did a fantastic job on all our trees a year ago, I was skeptical they would be able to help on an urgent basis as they are usually so much in demand. However, because of the urgency, we were thrilled that Theron was able to come out in a couple of days and then he and his crew fit us in the following week. They did a great job salvaging the basic frame of the plant and shaping the foliage and even managed to preserve some flowers for us to enjoy. And, furthermore, they also perfectly trimmed three of our tall palm trees. No damage to landscape lighting, tidy cleanup, respectful social distancing and face-mask wearing for COVID-19, and Rachelle in the office made everything smooth and easy.

There's a big difference between an arborist and a tree trimmer. You may pay a bit more for an arborist, but they're worth it. One hack tree trimmer is all you need to ruin your property irreparably.

Theron at Pro Trees is an arborist. He was very attentive, he listened to what I wanted and advised on how best to approach each tree, individually and with special care for each one. Equally importantly, I told him what I didn't want and he completely understood. The crew came and did a great job, on time, immaculate, and professional. Theron oversaw the operation and made sure his team followed his instructions to the letter.

Theron and I worked out a long term plan to correct the mistakes and negligence of the previous tree trimmers and owner of my property. I will have them back every year!

If you're looking for an ARBORIST who is skilled in assessing trees and keeping them healthy, happy and beautiful, Pro Trees is a great choice.

I totally trust Pro Trees with all of my trees. I have had some RCE work done and most recently all of the huge pines in our front yard trimmed. They always do an excellent job and whoever is working is very professional and respectful of our space. Theron, the arborist is a wealth of knowledge. I have learned so much from the few times I've had him out. I'm a much better steward of the trees on our property since we have been working with them and I couldn't be happier.

Our community had a positive experience with ProTrees. They sent out an arborist to do a walk-through and explain what services were needed and to provide a quote for service. The quote was turned around quickly in time for our HOA board meeting and was clear in outlining the services to be performed. While rain made scheduling a little wonky (we had to schedule/reschedule a bit at the last minute) we didn't have any issues and were happy with the service performed. We plan to use them again for future service.

Pro Trees trimmed and reduced the canopy of a 65 ft. Aleppo pine on my property, near the street. A primary goal was to reduce the weight over the parking and street. My last tree trimming experience with another business was a total nightmare even with positive reviews, so I was cautious and vigilant. It was the first time I've used this company and they did a good job. The tree looks good and significantly more balanced. At one point I expressed concern that the crew avoid any branches falling on a trio of newly replaced mailboxes directly below the tree. They quickly found a way to avoid damage, which I appreciated. I will use Pro Trees again because I have 6 very large trees!
