Great selection of gardening items. People helping, not the friendliest or most concerned with customer service. But if you ask the right questions, you can find the information you need.

They have specialty items that can be hard find.

The Escondido location heavily specializes in industrial irrigation works. They've all the piping fitting nozzles connectors controllers that you would ever need. They also carry all of your industrial fertilizers in large quantities. They however do not carry many plants. However this is still my go-to store whenever I need anything to fix pipes around my house.

If you live in Valley Center you do not have to drive down the hill anymore turn around and come back to town for the Best help around.. Come check out our VC store and get all your lawn and garden needs and questions answered in one Great spot. Come also check out all our new retail yard decorations to help make your yard and house have that personal character home feeling that only you can put on it or come in and say hello and look around if we do not have what you want and another one of our stores does we can get it to you on a Tuesday or a Thursday with no hassle. Friendly staff and a great supply of all things needed. However, I purchased all my veggies, peppers and tomato plants from them for the first time this year. The peppers are growing beautifully as well as my cucumbers and squash...the tomatoes on the other hand have ran into quiet the trouble. Poor fruit production, curled downward leaves and curled upwards as well...I think I bought a bad batch of beefsteak and black krim 🙁

I have shopped this store a few times and have compared prices to local stores that I like and boy do they charge much more than even some of the awesome local nurseries. Some prices were as much as $10+! Plus, if you want to get nice plants and trees for your landscape, you still have to go elsewhere. I would not recommend this place.

This is a great place to shop. Being a novice gardener, it's great to get expert advice for my home garden. I like that they take the time to help you get the right products. At big box home improvement stores it's hard to find anyone that knows anything about plants fertilizer. I recommend Grangetto's! They are great!

I've been frequenting this establishment, on and off, for maybe 20 yrs. Always had the funky drip system slip fittings I needed. And, they carry my favorite potting amendment Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Staff is always friendly and helpful. And 9 times outta 10 my purchase is in my rig before I complete my purchase and get to my ride.

Always helpful and knowledgeable with a full inventory of farming and agriculture products in stock, whether for a garden or large grove.

Walked in with split orange. Lady at the desk knew right away I wasn't watering my tree correctly. Also showed her some leaves and she told me the name of the worm, showed me what I needed to buy and told me the month I need to buy next year to kill the worms when they come. So I am all set for next year to have a healthier tree and oranges.

Overall, a friendly place that has a good selection of organic and non-organic fertilizers at decent prices. The sales clerk did not know what her store carried. I almost left without purchasing what I came for.

I'm at this Home Deopt almost every week. Good inventory, friendly staff, clean store.

Some things are a little hard to find but overall it was sufficient, and had everything I needed. Not a lot of people there which was nice.

It was great there were trees and leaves and plants and bugs flying bugs it was a great place to visit but not to stay.

I intended on getting a tomato plant but I ended up get Early Girl tomato seeds along with Cosmos flower seeds...wish me luck!
