Way too expensive and limited selection. The quality of the flooring they offer is below what we were looking for and more expensive than better options at other stores.

Steer Clear of Empire Today as well as Mohawk Flooring products. In April of 2022 I, in good faith, purchased flooring through Empire Today. It has been an awful experience. I was sold terrible quality carpeting manufactured by Mohawk. Neither company are willing to stand behind the products they sell. They are blaming my totally worn-out carpeting on the fact I did not have them shampooed within 18 months. I missed that deadline by a few months. Keep in mind I did not move in and occupy the home for 5 months after they installed. Singl woman living alone and no way have I abused these carpets. Empire sent one of their inspectors to my home and he confirmed the product is terrible quality. Fraying, matting & lifting up. Yet Empire is offering nothing to compensate they horrible quality carpet they sold me at a pretty high price. Shampooing does not make the quality better. As a matter of fact they are way worse after I had them professionally cleaned. I fear they will completely fall apart if I have them cleaned again. Every vacuuming it appears that the fibers are breaking down and filling up my vacuum. Next step will be filing with the court, for legal recourse. Do better Empire & Mohawks. Shame on you!

DO NOT USE EMPIRE for any flooring needs!!! They did a horrible job on our floors causing damage to our molding, and when we asked for the repair, Empire said it wasn't their problem. THEN.. when it was time to replace the carpet on the stairs with laminate... Empire FAILED to tell is that their work was NOT TO CODE!!! We canceled the work, and now Empire refuses to return the deposit for a job that we canceled because we were NEVER told it would result in our stairs not meeting code. Save your money.. These people don't care about customers or quality!
