Read moreThe best flower selections are available at Belmont. All my husband has to say is "want to go to Belmont?" and I'm happy gal who's just trying to have my own peaceful garden in my 30's Always so friendly with any silly questions I might have. Also my husband and I got to attend a seeds class to learn more about planting from seed.
Just took a garden class with David Miller. He was very knowledgeable on what to plant and when. Also gave a great pamphlet with a lot of dearie on how to get started for us beginner gardens. I also bought trees from him and he was very honest if something would grow or not. Wasn't just trying to make a sale which I appreciated.
Rude staff, the lady working there rolled eyes at my wife when asked for assistance, my wife asked if she worked there and was told "no. Im here doing all this for fun." We had just walked in and were loking to get pointed toward the tropical section. Left immediately.
Everyone who works there are so friendly. Great pricing. A huge inventory. Save time and call there first.
I have been to this nursery a handful of times. There are closer garden centers/nurseries where I live, but Belmont Nursery has so much selection when it comes to plants, trees, and seeds. I even saw they had some native California plants. It really is worth the drive! The nursery is huge! On the day I came, someone at the front gate handed me a map which was very useful in helping me navigate. The staff I came across were very friendly. Shawna helped me with checking out and she was helpful! I would recommend checking this place out for your gardening needs.
Love this place. Augie was very helpful. Gave me a cart and a map. Tim helped me with my tomatoes. Someone else helped me with my broccoli. I always find lots of fun stuff and answers on how to keep things going in my garde. This place is an asset to the community
