Great work!!

We have had them do work at our house on the stucco and electrical work both inside and outside our house (new wiring, new lights, new electrical boxes & switches). The entire team was great - professional, clean, polite and the work was great. I would highly recommend!

We have been using J & M Contracting for about 8 years now. The quality of their work is excellent. We have had them install a new electrical panel, drywall, paint inside and out side, stucco and texture. The entire team is great to work with. They removed siding, installed hardy cement trim, recessed lighting in the eaves.

They are clean, respectful and always on time. The quotes are always reasonable. You will not be disappointed with the results.

They listen to what we wanted and provided their professional input as well as alternate ideas for us to consider.

We recently added a back kitchen and we chose J & M as our contractor because their quote is reasonable and they appear to be honest, experienced and down-to-earth. And I am glad we made the choice! Mike is the man. He is easy to work with. He listens to our needs, and constantly look out for cost effective solutions. His crew was prompt, polite and productive. They cleaned up before they leave, and make sure you are happy with their work. Pretty much everything was completed according to the original schedule, even if we threw a couple of curve balls. More importantly, the project was finished in time for my daughter's wedding!

J & M Contractors completed excellent repair work on my Wood Patio Cover. Mike Zellmer(Owner) and his team were very thorough and detailed in all of their work. Mike stopped by almost daily to check in on the progress of the work, so he was very involved. The crew Mike has are professional, and dedicated to high quality work. We have been home owners in Fullerton for almost 40 years and we have been through our share of remodels, painting, and general home repairs. We can honestly say that J&M General Contractors, Inc has been one of the best experiences we have had in dealing with our home. Mike and Nancy came and measured throughout and provided a timely and reasonable estimate. Once the work began, their workers came early, stayed late, and worked hard throughout the day. They removed and/or repaired dry rot and termite damage around the entire house. They replaced two thresholds, re-caulked all of our windows, and painted everything with two coats. I said I wanted an overhang (or awning) over our front porch to protect the front door from the sun and they went above and beyond in designing it and installing it. We couldn't be happier.

Our construction company hired Serhal Builders Inc for a project we were awarded in Cerritos CA. They renovated a kitchen and bathroom for our client and surpassed our expectations in quality and customer service. Very communicative and relievingly honest while setting expectations.

I reached out to Serhal Builders to construct my juice bar, Coastal Cane, in Victoria Gardens Mall in the city of Rancho Cucamonga.

Abdullah is an experienced professional General Contractor and it showed when we were discussing the project. While I was excited for the construction for my very first juice bar I unknowingly thought of every expensive way to getting the job done. He on the other hand, helped me navigate through my pain points and potentially expensive construction ideas and offered significant cost savings alternatives.

The subcontractors were very qualified in there respective niches. Each subcontractor was professional, punctual, and masters of their own arts. I had plumbing, electrical, equipment installations, and tile work done.

The billing process was a breeze too and he offers several payment solutions. I would hire Serhal Builders especially to handle commercial projects like, in my case, a food facility. He also showed me pictures of the residential work he does as well. I was massively impressed.

My friends told me about this company and that they had a positive experience with them so I decided to reach out to them for a job.

I requested a full renovation of our Verizon store and they were extremely attentive to every detail I requested. Long store short they went above and beyond and completely renovated the store from head to toe. New carpet, dry wall, electrical outlet work and even helped install our current fixtures. Selected Serhal Builders after having walked our property with over 10 contractors. Budget was 40k for building out two rooms, ripping floors, replacing with LVP, and demoing and rebuild to two full bathrooms, full paint job, crown molding, and more. Quotes came in for the scope of work from 32k-74k. Serhal walked me through their proposal line items and I began to compare past work and references and value. 60 days after I had walked the property with lots of contractors, I selected Serhal!

The team was very knowledgeable about compliance and where we could shave costs and where we could spend our money and it would show. They weren’t the cheapest, but they were the overall best in what they provided and the value! Be concerned about the guys that come in and promise work for significantly less than your average value when comparing vendors. Because those change orders will keep coming in and a job for 40k ends up actualizing at 20%-30% more. But not Serhal….

All along the way we got updates, videos, texts and just so much communication that our mind was at ease about everything going on. Subfloor rotted, come in and see it, Abdul would say. I’ll show you what’s going on. And then he’d tell us the most cost effective, and compliant way to repair it. He even gave us credits /gift for a few items since we were so keen on budget.

This family business has ethics front and center and it shows in every decision. Abdul is an energetic veteran, and he’s meticulous.. Our purchased home in Orange was turned into a ADA compliant board and care in under 45 days and it looks amazing. The services delivered were high touch, and the total in change orders was <$1,000 and everyone knows the budget and the actual often times look very different once walls and floors are opened up and ripped out. Serhal builders did an exceptional job and I’d hire the team again. Trust this team with your project, you won’t lose sleep and your pockets won’t get emptied out.

I’ve used Serhal Builders for 3 major renovation projects now. The last one was a near 6 figure overhaul of my parents kitchen which included removing a load bearing wall and adding a load bearing beam. We did a full renovationof the floors, cabinets, and reorientation of our kitchen layout. It was a big job but the Serhal team was courteous, kind, punctual, and professional. They provided us good constructive (no pun intended) feedback and hand held us through the design process. They were more detail oriented than most contractors I’ve worked with (and I’ve worked with enough to know). Pricing was fair and in line with what you would expect. Would definitely recommend!

I had the opportunity to utilize Serhal builders to do some room renovations and in my opinion they did a great job. They were prompt in communication, they let me know if something extra needed to be done, provide cheaper options, provided reasonings behind recommendations, and did a quality job.
