Mark and his team trimmed my avocado tree in such a short period of time. These guys are professionals! Excellent service and reasonable pricing! I am definitely going to call them for all my tree trimming needs!

We were already looking to our gardeners to price out trimming back our Ficus tree when we received a marketing piece in our neighborhood. G & S Tree Service came the next day once we called with a fair estimate better than expected. They completed the work in a timely fashion, cleaned up and did exactly as I asked. Find someone else. They removed a few trees and while we were happy at first, they broke the irrigation lines. We thought this wouldn't be a big deal as any repairs were included in the scope of work, and the lines were specifically discussed in advance of our agreement. Naively, in hindsight, we paid them for the work then.

Rather than finishing the contracted work, they collected their check have disappeared, not scheduling the repair as they've said they would. Two months have past, a dozen attempted calls / voicemails, and now they just don't even bother to respond.

Unprofessional, unresponsive, even shady. We will be finding another company for future work and suggest you do the same.

I had a dead tree removed. The landscapers were friendly and very efficient. They completed the project within an hour even planting a new tree! They also cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Gutierrez and sons!

I'd love to be able to write a great review of this company and their services, but they never followed up with a promised estimate. The irony is that they canvassed my neighborhood and left a flyer advertising their services. Maybe their advertising worked so well that don't need my job, which is all fine and dandy, but at least have the courtesy to tell me that. I'm only writing this review here because they never responded to my follow-up calls or emails, but they seemingly respond to reviews. Maybe I'll hear back in 2026. One can only hope.

After receiving a couple other estimates, Gutierrez and Sons came in not only with the most reasonable quote, but were the most professional, friendly, accommodating, easy to work with, and I was blown away with efficiently their crew completed the job! Completely removed, cleaned, and hauled away a massive pine tree that had become an electrical danger in 2 working days. Amazing!

I had the great pleasure of finding this company out of many that I called. I had a very large Camphor tree that was on the city sidewalk. I hated to cut down such a beautiful tree but it had completely ruined and lifted the sidewalk and then my main water line developed a leak. With the help of this wonderful tree company, the plumber and the paving company we were able to tackle this overwhelming project. However, Fabian and his team from "Gutierrez and Sons Tree Service Company" were definitely the heros in this story. They worked tirelessly for three days and cut down the massive tree, removed the trunk and roots, trimmed and pruned a smaller tree, removed all of the damaged sidewalk & hauled all of the debris and helped remove roots that had caused the main water line and meter to spring a leak (we did call DWP for their help in closing off the line). They were professional and hardworking from start to finish and I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any job big or small.

Had multiples trees trimmed and cleared on my house. The estimator came out promptly and gave me a fair quote very quickly. We were able to have an appointment booked quickly within the next couple of days. The crew showed up early, and were very accommodating and made sure everything was cut to my liking. Afterwards, they cleaned up well and made sure to dispose of all the trimmings. Would highly recommend their service!

They did what we told them to do. I’m happy with the results.
But they are pricey.

Start to finish this was A++ service. When I called and asked for an estimate, I had an estimator at my home in less than 24 hours. Received a written estimate. Easy peasy schedule for the actual service. Then on the day of the trimming, the team wasn’t just on time, they were 5 minutes early. They were very professional, polite, and communicative. They worked quickly and thoughtfully, some how didn’t even make that much noise, and were done in less than three hours. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of and the tree, that was WILDLY overgrown looks great. Highly recommend and they’ve made a return customer out of me for sure.

Had such a great experience with this Gutierrez and Sons! They were super easy to communicate with and did a great job following up throughout the whole process. They tackled a really large tree with huge roots and got it done so quickly and efficiently. Super professional team, and the cleanup was spotless — you honestly couldn’t tell they had just removed a tree. Would absolutely use them again and recommend to anyone!

Gutierrez & Sons are amazingly talented and effective in every aspect of getting the job done. They’re capable of communicating the best plan possible in a timely manner that can’t happen without an army of dedicated staff. Which is easy to identify because everyone’s wearing a green company shirt and their logo is proudly displayed on all the company trucks that are hauling tree choppers and stump grinders along with a company truck. They know how to arrange their presence on schedule without any problem because they show up early to stage their equipment on time to create perfect execution with a great attitude and professional approach in a friendly considerate manner that respects your neighbors and your fence line. They completely picked up all the debris from the street and my neighbors driveway. These guys could likely win the Super Bowl if given the chance. Championship caliber company.

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. They came out on Monday to walk the space and provide a quote, started the job Tuesday, and had everything completed by Wednesday. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and extremely professional.

They recommended ficus hedges for privacy, which I wouldn’t have known was such a great option for Southern California, and the result is beyond what we expected. The work was done quickly but with so much care and attention to detail.

The team was punctual, knowledgeable, and left the space clean each day. We’re extremely happy with how everything turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality landscaping work.
