Disappointing Christmas Lights Installation Experience

After they reached out to me due to being a previous customer we hired this window cleaning company to install Christmas lights, and it turned out to be a regrettable decision. Also keep in mind we paid $110 an hour for the lights to be installed!

Within a week, some lights fell in two areas, and when we sought help, they said it would be $50 to fix the issue. The blame game began, with them pointing fingers at the clips that came with the lights (brand new from Ace). During installation he asked for tape, we offered various options like nailing or duct tape, but they insisted on using our painters tape. I would expect a light installer to come with the appropriate materials to secure lights. Most people don't even keep their clips or they break. Or if we didn't have what he needed I easily could have run out to get it.

To make matters worse, when we contacted them about the problem, they shifted blame to the product and claimed they only guarantee their work if you use their lights. This policy is absurd, as most customers already have their own decorations. This lack of accountability and refusal to stand by their work, especially during the holiday season, is unacceptable. We had used their services before for window cleaning, but this experience has left us disappointed and determined never to use them again. Save yourself the trouble and find a company that values both quality and customer service.

Alex did an amazing job for our complex. We had about 20 people wanting their windows cleaned and Alex did it over 3 days. He is very communicative, thorough and genuinely a great guy. We plan to have him continue cleaning our windows for years to come.

I was greatly impressed with Alex and his work. He performed his job so thoroughly that I had zero review notes for him. The windows on both floors and skylights were sparkling. Outstanding work was done for a very reasonable price (I actually thought it was cheap). Alex was responsive and accomodating during scheduling, punctual, respectful, and overall very pleasant to deal with. After his first service, I immediately scheduled his recurring services. I certainly highly recommend!
