The ice maker on my grandfather’s freezer broke, he contacted Simon’s to fix it. When he came he did not fix it, and likely broke it further as when he finished, there were three parts left off the ice maker. When he was contacted to discuss the fact the machine still did not make ice, he was adamant that the ice maker was fixed and he refused to return any money. He was contacted again, and agreed to come look at the machine once more. When he arrived, he was here for less than 10 minutes and was incredibly rude. He took one look at the machine and said it worked, and when asked about them, barked at me that the parts that were removed and left off the ice maker during the first visit were not needed. When he left, he said if there was no ice in 24 hours, we could take him to court.

This is not the behaviour or mark of a good employee, owner, or business. And please note, my grandfather is 93 almost 94 years old. I would not ever recommend this business to anyone.

Sp appliance perform really great service. Peter is super nice, very fast and provided great service with reasonable fee. He gave lots of advices with my 13 years old LG washer and fixed within an hour by changing the pump! He detected the problem very fast and I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needed!

Peter showed up to my house a few hours after I made an appointment to fix my dryer that is not heating up. He was very honest and straight forward and explained to me what could be the issues. Knowing all I needed to know, I agreed to his recommendations. The dryer was fixed, unfortunately, after doing 1 load, the same issues happened again. I called Peter the next day and he said that he will come again to check it. He couldve easily avoided my call or not show up, but he did. This time, he figured out another issue and finally was able to fix my dryer for good. I highly recommend Peter for his punctuality and honesty.

I called this place because they could send a technician out quickly, but the problems with my dishwasher just keep piling up. The dishwasher is only a few years old. The technicians are often late and just haven't shown up twice.
The first technician replaced the drain pump, then my dishwasher wouldn't turn on. He came out and tightened some things and said he must've loosened something the first time he was out. Then it went out again and he said it was a bad cord and I should just replace the cord myself. I had a neighbor look at it and he said the cord was getting electricity, we moved some wires and everything was working normal. Then the brand new drain pump stopped working and now the technicians keep canceling instead of showing up to address the problem.

This business is frustrating. I'm trying to gauge how much time I put into this before I call a reliable repair technician. I'll never call them out again. For any reason.

Peter did a great job fixing the drain pump on our 3 year old Samsung washer. It seems like this is a common problem with washers so luckily he was ready with a spare OEM part. He arrived on time and fixed the problem in less than an hour. Very nice and knowledgeable. Thank you.

SP Appliance replaced the felt and pulley on my Samsung Dryer. I appreciate the excellent service, communication, and attention to details. SP Appliance did an excellent job repairing my washer last year, so I didn’t hesitate to call them again when my dryer needed fixing. The technician repaired the dryer within an hour, and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Peter was perfect! He was very professional and efficient for my washing machine diagnostic. I am a renter, and he even offered me some money saving advice on how to deal with my landlord and appliance repairs/replacements. Overall SP was great. I called around 11am and Peter arrived at my place by 4pm same day. The price was more than reasonable and the service exceptional. I’ll definitely call them next time I need any repairs!

Unfortunately, my experience with SP Appliance was very disappointing. They came out twice to fix my dryer but couldn’t figure out the problem. I was still charged over $300 for what seemed like guesswork, not expert service. Despite not fixing the issue, they still billed me. I expected more professionalism and accountability. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

I had a dryer fixed today. Technician arrived exactly on time and fixed the problem quickly. He couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I wouldn't hesitate to have any appliance fixed by this company. My call was returned promptly and the appointment was set easily. Clean up the mess and gave me advice for the future. I will be keeping his number and would definitely call again if I have any work needing to be done. Thanks again!!

My refrigerator is over 25 years old and stopped working. I called Peter at SP Appliance and asked him to come over to see if it could be repaired. Peter was responsive, and we scheduled an appointment 2 days later. He called before he headed over, which was good that i could anticipate his arrival. He troubled shoot the refrigerator and determined the relay was bad. After we agreed on the repair cost, Peter proceeded to change out the relay and verified that the refrigerator was in working order.

Peter demonstrated his knowledge in troubleshooting refrigerator problems, and his price was reasonable. I'm happy with his service.

Beware… Peter came to fix a water valve on our dryer because the steam setting was leaking. We decided to pay for the full dryer clean while he was here, as well. He put the dryer back together after the cleaning and replacing the part but the dryer wouldn’t work. The motor was seizing up and he immediately said we needed a new motor. The dryer had been working fine other than a setting. Ended up paying someone else to come out to fix his screw up. The dryer had not been put back together correctly. No need for a new motor as Peter had suggested. I have not heard from Peter since.

Kudos to SP Appliance (Peter - service technician ) who came out on short notice to repair our dryer. He is an honest, ethical, and respectful individual who provided an accurate assessment and diagnosis of the problem. There was no attempt to upsell for any unnecessary work. Price was very fair and reasonable and the workmanship was excellent.

If anyone is looking for an appliance repairman; look no further than SP Appliance. The owner Peter came out and fixed my wall oven today with lighting speed. He did an excellent job, and was very knowledgeable with other appliances as well. He was courteous and was out the very same day. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of appliance repairman. His pricing was very good and he didn’t try to upsell you on anything else. He is honest and reliable. I can’t say enough about what a fantastic job he did. He gets a five star rating in my book!
