We highly recommend this chimney sweep company! We’ve used their services for both a thorough chimney cleaning and a bigger chimney repair project at our home in Hayward. Edward handled all the work, and he did a fantastic job from start to finish. He provided a clear quote, helped with the permit process, and made sure we understood how to care for our chimney, which was really helpful for us as first-time homeowners. Josiah in the office was also very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, we give them 5 stars for their professional and knowledgeable service.

Mechanical and steam installations are complex, and depending on scope and scale on the install. Bay City Boiler can do it all; full scale engineering to, point and connect in the field.

I’m an owner and the brewer at a craft brewery in Oakland. I’ve previously built multimillion dollar regional breweries as well. Working at this scale for my facility, Bay City beat some highly recommended competition significantly on the bid, the work-personship was world class, and all in all I’m confident I have the best steam system for my size brewery in the bay.

There's running an honest business, providing a good service, charging a reasonable price and there's Bay City Boiler. They charge almost $300 an hour with a 5 hour minimum and a truck fee for a grand total of $1900 for a somewhat urgent service call. $1900 for what will probably take an experienced technician and hour or two to diagnosis and fix. I'm sure parts will be extra and marked up 500%. Just mind boggling how they can ask these prices.

Terry came to my house 15 minutes after I called him for help with a 10 year old furnace that stopped working.
He looked at the furnace, gave me an estimate for parts and labor before starting.
He replaced the part-- and when the problem persisted he did a thorough and methodical diagnosis of the furnace, and found a corroded wire connection to be the ultimate culprit. The Furnace works again! No labor or parts charges for the part that did not need changing. That is great and honest service. Thank you Terry.

Commercial Bakery Oven repair
Terry came to my bakery same day contacted, troubleshot the issue, and arranged to secure the needed parts, then only a couple days later returned with parts, executed the repair which fixed my commercial bakery rack oven. Recommend Terry with Amtech wholeheartedly! 👍🏻

Terry was recommended by another HVAC company as they were unable to repair faulty air dampers in our HVAC system. Terry was responsive and flexible and came out the next day to review the dampers. After taking measurements with a meter, Terry determined that the damper motor was likely the issue. He then explained the potential costs involved before proceeding with removal of the damper motor. After bench testing the motor and confirming that it was defective, Terry provided me an option to purchase the part myself to save money. I purchased the part and a few days later, Terri returned to complete the repairs. Terry was effective, efficient, and professional; saving me several hundred dollars on the repair. I will definitely use Terry again for HVAC services.
