Qmerit made my EV Charger installation EZ. Much of the prelim was done remotely in a self service fashion. This consisted of me taking photos and videos of my home, garage, and breaker box. I was contacted by a certified electrician, Castle Electric, and they sent out a two person crew to verify the photos and videos I took, and provide me with some alternative solutions which saved both time and money. The scheduling was easy, and quick. My EVIQO charger arrived three days before the appointment and the Castle Electric crew arrived on time and completed the beautiful install in a very efficient manner. They stayed while I confirmed all was working and connected as well. Castle Electric is a good partner of QMERIT and QMERIT made this process easy for me.

Qmerit and the installer did a fantastic job. The whole process went extremely smoothly from the sales call, installation, and scheduling an inspection. The installer (InChargeE) was very professional and very pleasant to work with. They were very knowledgeable about the EV technology and its installation process. My EV charger came with the car and the installation went very well. We highly recommend Qmerit!

Qmerit was engaged to install my Ford EV charger. Their sub, Sego Builders, did a great job. The electrician was thorough and made sure to make the final product look good. Qmerit helped streamline the process, keep me appraised of the steps and close out the ticket.

I applied through SMUD on a Friday, same day I received an email to upload pictures. That afternoon I received my quote. Monday, I called with a few questions, after speaking with Michele I accepted the quote and she made me an appointment for Wednesday morning. Installation was fast very professional. Michele was very friendly. The whole process was fast, efficient with no hiccups. Would recommend going through Qmerit especially if it's your 1st time dealing with an EV.

Watch out, they will gouge and surprise you for a extremely high permit fee. Ford hired them to do our Ford charger install. It was supposed to be "free." Took forever to get scheduled. The savings I was supposed to get by getting a "free" charger was eliminated because I had to use pay chargers for almost 2 months. The tech was slow and argued with me multiple times. Then he left and did not test the unit. I read the instructions and found that he had not set the DIP switches correctly. I called, and they argued with me again and said it was user error. I changed the DIP switches myself and it started working. !!!! Now, I am hit with a $350 "permit" fee. The permit in our county is well under $100. So much for free. This permit cost is gouging!!!!

Qmerit and JFF Electric handled my Ford home charger installation. Pre-appointment communications were straight forward and great.

JFF Electric was excellent in setting up my home charger and ensured it worked perfectly and was fully to code.

I had a Tesla Gateway and Universal charger install to interface with my Cybertruck. The guys from Qmerit who did the installation were professional, knowledgeable and timely. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Qmerit and Fayette Electrical Service for my recent Ford EV charger installation. The entire process—from scheduling to installation—was smooth, efficient, and professional. The technicians arrived on time, were very knowledgeable, and completed the installation in the alloted time. I appreciated how they took the time to explain the setup and ensured everything was working perfectly before leaving. Highly recommend Qmerit and Fayette Electrical Service for anyone looking for a reliable and stress-free EV charger installation!

Qmerit has mastered the art of not caring. And why should they? Tesla has made them the exclusive provider for scheduling and bidding, so they have zero incentive to actually provide decent service.

After jumping through hoops just to get a project scheduled, I was met with endless delays, reschedules, no-shows, and technicians who either quit mid-job or showed up hours late. The best part? They cut into my wall, left it unfinished, and then ghosted me. When I reached out to Qmerit for help, I was met with the same routine—empty promises, multiple customer service reps assuring me a manager would call me back, and then… silence. Three weeks later, still nothing.

The experience has been so bad that I’ve decided to return my Home Share. The irony? It was one of the key reasons I chose to purchase my Cyber Beast in the first place. But if I can’t even get it installed properly, what’s the point? Tesla forcing customers to use Qmerit is a massive failure—no competition means no accountability, and unfortunately, we’re the ones left dealing with the consequences. Thanks Qmerit for NOTHING except a hacked up wall!

My experience with QMerit was so unbelievably bad that it deserves to be preserved in a museum as an example of what not to do in customer service. I reached out for simple, straightforward information required by my HOA — nothing complicated, nothing unusual — and what I got instead was a full-blown circus of confusion, incompetence, and people apparently winging it like it’s amateur hour.

I genuinely feel like I would’ve had a more productive conversation — with better results — trying to defuse a landmine over the phone with a guy in Vietnam I could barely understand. And the terrifying part? That imaginary scenario STILL sounds less frustrating than dealing with QMerit.

Let’s talk about Nino Dela Cruz. The man managed to take my email, ignore my actual question entirely, and then repeat my own words back to me like he was auditioning to be a malfunctioning parrot. Zero comprehension. Zero useful information. Zero value added. If his job is to waste time and hope the customer gives up, then congrats — he’s exceptional at it.

Now, to be fair, Yolanda Macapanas from management was the only person who demonstrated even a flicker of competence. Once I finally got her on the phone, she at least attempted to herd the cats and untangle the mess. But even then, the account was never properly noted for a manager to call me at 8 AM as promised. Which tells me follow-through at QMerit is basically optional — or nonexistent.

This entire experience was a dumpster fire from start to finish. If this level of service is normal for QMerit, they should power down the whole operation, shake it like an Etch A Sketch, and start over.

Save yourself the headache. Choose literally any other installer or service provider.

Qmerit was contracted to install my EV charger when I bought my new car. Unfortunately they installed the circuit not to code, it was functional but had to be corrected before I sold the home. Because they didn't get back to me in time when I asked about the error, I had to pay a certified electrician to fix their work. When I asked to be reimbursed for the electrician they ghosted me.

When I bought my new house I installed my own EV charging circuit for around $50, Qmerit installed my circuit for "free" but then I had to pay an electrician $300 to fix it. So my "free" circuit installation costs $250 more than if I had just don't it myself.

They quoted me $899, then the two estimates were not only more than double that, but were higher than the two I got in my own. Panel did not need upgrade and only 12 feet from panel to charger, so I’m not sure why they came in so high. Probably greedy installers that overcharge because they know the consumer will get a rebate or two. Be very cautious. Installer also was charging over $320 for permits. My town charges $120 - $200 up charges for permits seems unethical, if not flat out illegal.Would not recommend.

Installer was awesome, installed the Ford Pro EV Charger much more quickly than I anticipated. Showed up ready to roll, explained how the entire process was going to proceed, encouraged asking questions and ensured I was comfortable with operating the new equipment before departing. Will definitely keep them in mind for any future needs.

Fast service. Quality contractors. I only had to pay for permitting. So about $300

Overall process was really good. I got a free basic home installation for my Ford Pro Charger when I bought my Lightning. From the web link I was provided by Qmerit I took a couple photos of my main power panel, and they connected me with a local electrician. I got a quote from the electrician which include the extra cost of installing a load management device since I only have 100A service at my house. That was a little bit of a surprise but makes sense as the breaker for the EV charger would probably trip when I run my AC. The installers were very professional and did a great job. They did not rush and were friendly and did good work. I am very happy with the experience.

I had Qmerit work on our Ford Power Promise EV charger installation so the price was typically free with our car purchase. Through Qmerit, they sourced us electricians in our area. I absolutely loved the service that ADI Electrical Services provided. Ariel was very clear and quick with his instructions and communication with what’s next. Everything went seamlessly, they followed our instructions and made sure to patch up the holes in our home and Miguel did a really good job with spackling and painting.

We are very satisfied with the work and service provided. Thank you!
