Solar was less than a year old, and it stopped working. The original solar company stopped answering phone calls so I had to shop around for companies to service my system. Forme Solar was the one I picked. Service was excellent and the price for the diagnostic fix was reasonable at $350. They were professional and didn’t upcharge me.

Our neighbor referred us to Forme Solar, and we couldn't have been happier.
We were pushing our home solar project out for months after a challenging experience with our bathroom renovation. I hope nobody can relate, but our experience with a renovation contractor was very difficult. We were burnt out and didn't want to deal with any more home improvement projects with an external third-party company for the year.
Our neighbor has been recommending the solar installation, and we were convinced after he showed us their utility bill savings, so I took the referral chance.
Not only were Forme Solar representatives prompt and professional, but they were also kind and very family-like, soothing us with our questions and concerns.
The installation was very prompt, and they executed exactly what was promised.

I've got nothing but great things to say about my experience with Nilda, Bobby, Kellee, and the rest of the crew at Forme Solar! We shopped around for several months and these guys are the most transparent and service-oriented contractor we have ever worked with. My husband wanted to go big with our energy system and Bobby stepped in and encouraged him to be more conservative because we only moved in 7 months ago. Bobby explained to us that there is no bigger waste of money than overbuilding because the excess energy is practically worthless as a utility credit. Instead, he said we can start on the smaller side with solar and invest more on the battery because this will bring us more value in the long term. He also said that we can come back and get more panels anytime we want once we understand our usage needs better. This is the first time a contractor has ever encouraged us to spend less and we are all for it! We wound up spending $7,000 less than intended and we got an 8.5 kW system with a 15 kWh hour Franklin battery. We have been loving the savings! Now with the expiration of the tax credit, we are seriously thinking about getting another battery before the end of the year and we are so happy we found Forme Solar! Give these guys a call. They are not just installers. They are the real deal!

It took me about 2 months to shop for the right solar company for my project. Forme Solar made a confusing topic easy to understand and helped make a difficult decision one that we could make with confidence. I had 8 quotes!!!! 5 from local companies and 3 from the big boys. Different pricing, equipment, number of panels, type of inverter, energy generation, warranties, oh my. Throughout the process was able to learn a lot about power offset, batteries, EVs and other things that will impact production. The whole process took about 4 months from the date that I signed the contract to getting permission from Edison to turn on my solar.

Every step of the way my consultant Grace was active and did a great job of keeping me updated and helped me with the answers to my questions. She was extremely professional and responsive.

Install wasn’t bad. It took 2 days. After the permits got approved, everything started moving quickly. Got inspected and boom about two weeks later got approval from SCE.

In closing, I would recommend getting solar. Forme did a good job, not sure what it would have been like using someone else but provided good info, was pleasant enough to work with and their price was competitive for the equipment I was looking for.

This review is long overdue but I wanted to wait a year before posting anything. Long story short, Forme solar is a great company to work with. We initially ordered a system from Tesla and everything seemed to be going well. Suddenly, 4 weeks in, they said they couldn't continue with our project because of our roof tile. Why in the world would it take 4 weeks to determine this?

Needless to say, we were super disappointed because they lured us in with a great price but then failed to deliver! What a complete waste of time! Not only that, it felt like pulling teeth just to get a straight answer from them.

Then we found Forme solar. We worked with Nick and he was so responsive and informative. From the start, he explained why Tesla would not work on our system and it turns out they only keep the most basic of projects for their in-house crew. The minute there is any complexity, they will cancel on you.

Nick and his team were professional, transparent, and consistently focused on making sure that the ROI on our investment made sense. We wound up even scaling back on the solar energy system size so the total project cost wound up being less than what we were going to get with Tesla.

1 year later, things have been running great and we generally do not pay for our electricity because we consume the majority of what we generate.

Great experience with NetZero Energy. The team was professional, responsive, and clearly knew their craft. The process was smooth from start to finish and the quality of work really shows. 5 star service!

Got approval to turn on our solar from Edison by going solar with Forme. On the positive, they got our application and permits processed in a timely manner. The system was affordable and better priced than competitors.

We got a 30 panel Enphase solar project installation at our home.

When it came to any inquiry and technical questions about initiating the Solar project, Bobby was very detail oriented and patient with us throughout the process.

From end to end any operation / installation related questions about the project, paperwork with Edison, permit approval etc the team was helpful.

We are happy with the customer service we got from Forme and hope that it will continue the same in future. I do enjoy the fact we got solar installed and we're now generating electricity.

Forme Solar was able to get our job in prior to NEM 2.0 expiring. Nilda and Bobby Singh were my main points of contact and were able to answer the majority of my questions. Have had no issues and am satisfied with the job.

Final Thoughts

Forme installed a Franklin 15kwh battery for me. As far as the battery's functionality, it has been flawless. The installation looks extremely professional/clean. All work went smooth, on schedule, and it was an extreme pleasure having the Forme crew at my home. The customer service is excellent, the team is communicative, friendly, honest, and happy to answer any questions and explain how this solar/battery/NEM thing works.

I would encourage anyone looking to install, upgrade, repair anything solar / solar storage related to give the team at Forme Solar a call.

We worked with Leanne and Mark on our solar project and had a good experience. Mark was patient walking us through the system design and expectations. I enjoyed working with Mark who made sure the install crew stayed on schedule and treated our home and roof work with care.

The install team was professional, cleaned up daily, and paid attention to small details that other companies we looked at did not. Permitting took time, but that was expected and well communicated. Everything passed inspection without problems. Solid experience overall.

What I appreciated most was that they checked in after the work was completed to make sure everything was working properly. It did not feel like we were forgotten once the job was done.

Reckless company

This company is extremely horrible, poor communication, disrespect to their employees and their families, do not apply for this company. They will underpay you and treat you like dirt.

They are horrible do not use this company! They cut all our fios cables and irrigation pipes! We had to help fios reconnect our internet because the damage they did would of been a week out.i still have no water because they dredged throuhg our water line and have not fixed. Like I said do not use this company

Service provided is not completely honest. Company charges more then they should and does more work then necessary to bill the customer more or they would say certain services were performed to charge more when I’m fact they weren’t. If you are looking for an honest electrical company to service your needs this is not it. This company is slimy and a shame

This review is not about their service, because I would never want to try them. It's about their attitude towards others.

I was crossing the road during my green light with my 3 dogs. The driver decided that it was ok to turn front of me. He was about 3-4 feet from me, only. He wasn't even in a rush. Turned slowly, looking at me the whole time and shrugging his shoulder, like he was doing this on purpose. Even the driver in the car behind him was in disbelief and stopped and said that guy is a @#%@#.

Something tells me this is how they treat others as well.

The service was actually fine, but they tried to overcharge me on hours of labor. They ended up refunding me because in their ineptitude, they forwarded me emails saying, yes they were overcharging me.

Shady, dishonest business.

Update on review:
In response to what the business has responded with: It took them 3 weeks to respond back with why I was overcharged for labor (It was 2X the original quote, and over 4 hours of the actual time the technician was on site, as I was there for the electrical work done), as if they were coming up with an excuse for why to charge me more.

If they did not accidentally forward me their internal email that showed them arbitrarily making up reasons why I was charged more for labor, I am sure I would still be in dispute over the differences in hours billed.

Again, the work was done fine, but the billing of something as simple as labor hours was done in a very shady way that I would not recommend this business.

As a management company we do business with quite a few vendors and Horizon Lighting is one of them. We have worked with them for a while now and they have always been efficient, professional and kind! Communication is a big need and we have that with them. I had an incident happen where I needed assistance and I was helped within minutes! JB Hunter is the best! I truly appreciate every one of their assistance!

Bought lights from them for $120 when they called back to say they didn't charge me for all the light bulbs they gave me I looked online and Found them $30 cheaper on multiple places including local ones. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE...... I will pay for what their mistake, but they were not even willing to discuss the price gouging
