I hired Pristine Cleaners Orange County for a post-construction cleaning on December 20, 2024, based on their claims of expertise in commercial cleanups and their advertised satisfaction guarantee. Over the phone, the owner, Jake, assured me that his team could handle the job, using backpack vacuums to remove all dust, including the dust settled on clothing. I specifically requested that they start in the master bedroom, bathroom, and closets to ensure we could move back home on December 21 after staying at an Airbnb. The quoted cost was $1,555.90, with an additional $68 for cleaning the backyard.

The cleaners arrived late at 8:30 AM and left by 3 PM. When I returned to my home, I immediately noticed the dust on my kitchen counters. Upon further inspection, I realized the cleaners had not cleaned any of the rooms as promised. Dust remained on clothing, counters, mirrors, shelves, curtains, and other exposed surfaces. Even the backyard had not been touched. My wife and I had to clean the house ourselves before moving back in, despite having already paid for this service.

I sent Jake photos and videos documenting the lack of cleaning and requested a full refund. He refused, offering only partial refunds of $150 and $200, which I declined. Instead, he offered to redo the job, which I rejected since we had already done the work ourselves. After I filed a chargeback with my credit card, Jake threatened to take me to small claims court and recharge my card.

Pristine Cleaners failed to honor their commitment to quality and their satisfaction guarantee. Their service was not only substandard but also dishonest. I hope this review serves as a warning to potential customers—think twice before trusting this company with your home or giving them your credit card information.

Scheduled a deep clean downstairs in kitchen, dining room and small bathroom. Mentioned floors really needed to be cleaned, ceiling fan in small bathroom had a lot of dust build up, window sills, appliances, counters, etc
I asked if she could re-clean/wipe the ceiling fan because looks like it wasn't done. She said she would take a look at it after she was done with the kitchen. She was outside the front door saying she was done. The floors were still wet so I waited for them to dry to look at the work. I was very disappointed and unhappy with the service. A small portion of the kitchen floor by the side door wasn't touched at all, window sills wasn't wiped clean nor the baseboards, inside of the microwave was not cleaned either, counter tops by the faucet had a lot of calcium hard water build up and the bathroom ceiling fan still had dust build up. My first experience was great but this time I was very unhappy. I wanted it cleaned for Thanksgiving and it wasn't done. I had to clean the portion of the kitchen floor by the side door the best I could and wiped the window sills. It is hard to get around and do this due to my age and health issues and that's why I requested a cleaning service to do this for me. The first time they cleaned upstairs (deep clean) 2 girls about 3 hours and was very pleased. This time, one person, about 2 hours and a lot of stuff wasn't done. Honestly I don't know what happened and certainly didn't expect this because my first appt for upstairs was done great. Very displeased and unhappy. Note: First time I ever had professional cleaning done.

I needed a move out clean service and Jake was so great to work with and was able to schedule our cleaning service promptly. I needed the cleaning next day and he made it happen. His crew was on time and took great care in getting everything cleaned. The house was fairly clean but I knew that I needed to do the small detail work and didn’t have the time to do it before our last day. His team cleaned everything including vent covers, tops of doors, every single blind, baseboards, and everything in between. I loved their work and will use them again for other types of services including periodic deep cleaning of my new home. Thank you for the quick response and scheduling, timely arrival and hard work. They left the place spotless and clean from top to bottom. The home we moved out of was over 1700 s.f. And they were finished within 4 hours. The price is very reasonable and he even dropped it down since I already had done a great deal of the cleaning. Thanks again Jake, your company and service is outstanding!
