Matt was awesome! He was communicative and knowledgeable. He mounted two TV's for me after my failed attempt. In less than an hour, they were up and look amazing! He also helped with chord management which helped pull it all together.

I will def call Matt again and be recommending him to family and friends.

Matt is timely, has great availability, and is fun to work with. He is very knowledgeable about all things IKEA, but also can suggest other products/ideas to meet your needs. We have collaborated together on many projects, but the most special was volunteer work painting & putting together play equipment for a preschool. Matt has a real heart for people, listening to their needs, and helping with solutions. He takes care of everything you don't have time for, at a reasonable price, with a smile, and will probably play with your kids in the process. Matt is a genuine guy that I would highly recommend for almost any home related project you may have!

Got to know Matt through a designer friend. He planned and assembled my closet. He is very fast in replying texts and emails. He made the entire process very easy for me. He knows ikea really well and helped me getting things that I need in a timely manner (although everything is out of stock at ikea during this covid pandemic). If you are looking for any furniture assembly or handyman work, I would highly recommend Matthew. Matthew was professional, courteous, on time, and basically did great quality work. He even took an Amazon return (desk) back to Kohl's for me. His prices are very reasonable too for the service he provides. I will definitely be calling Matthew in the future for any of my handyman needs.

Matt is fantastic! We needed his help to mount a large TV (65”), which he did in one day, and put up some shelving in one of the bedrooms. We are thrilled with the results! He worked with us on certain decisions, such as what to do with all the wiring for the TV, and suggested what kind of mount to get (we didn’t have a clue). He found the perfect balance between listening and advising. He arrived on time, fully prepared, with all the materials and tools he needed. He was pleasant to chat with, and respectful of our time and the space. He even swept and mopped up after himself. We’ll definitely be bringing him back for more work in the future. Matt Is the best! He has helped us at most of our physical therapy clinics. He has built and installed tons of cabinets, put together high-level infrared analysis systems, helped mount things on the walls, built other structures, etc. He is precise with his measurements, committed, trust worthy, has an eye for design, and he does top-notch work. He takes the time to make sure things are installed correctly from a mechanical perspective as well as electrical, etc. He is reliable and dependable, and a wonderful person to work with. He truly cares about the work that he does and he puts in the time needed to get the job done correctly. He in one of the best people we have ever worked with, and it is such a relief to know that we can count on him to help getting these jobs completed. I highly recommend him!

We got our tv mounted by Matthew today! He was friendly, professional, patient and asked questions that helped us figure out where we wanted the placement and he also gave tips which helped so much. I definitely recommend him if you need any work done. Amazing job done and will refer him to friends too!

Matt is very good at his craft. He made the whole remodel of our space into a closet very easy. He did all the measurements, picked out all of the supplies, threw out all of the garbage and old shelving, and made some amazing closets and storage space for our laundry room. He paid very close attention to every detail in our space, changed light switches around, made our dryer and washer orientation better, just so much extra attention to detail. On top of that, he’s a nice dude. Oh and the price is probably the best you’ll ever find. I really think you should just go with Matt. I’m very certain you should just do it. Trust me.

We had such a great experience with Matthew. He gave two of our closets a complete makeover (removed flimsy wire shelving units, designed and assembled drawers, shelves, and hanging space). He even touched up our paint without an extra charge. He was friendly, professional, timely, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Excellent design support and quality of work. Great working w Matthew from start to finish. I got him recommended from IKEA store and so I had some good expectation already. After contacting him, we decided our project needs a bit extra review so I pad for in house design consult (which is extra) which I think helped a lot. After some design reviews, we decided to separate our ideas into 2 niches and project scope changed a bit. Matthew accommodated this very well. He came up a few design and we zeroed in on one and made it more exciting w interesting panels in the back. He made a complete list of ikea items and all we needed to do was to go to ikea make a few cosmetic decisions and we were set for install. He scheduled install day in advance and come install day he was very prepared. We made some last minute changes which he gave clear instructions on which task is more critical first (dominos otherwise) and we proceeded towards systematically. As he suggested and planned, he finished the work right on time (spent an extra couple hrs to get it done perfectly). His cost is more mid range and his quality of work is top notch. Great combination. I rate him full 5 stars and will get him again to do more work w us. Thanks a lot Matthew!

Professional, thorough and we appreciated the advice and suggestions in the preparation taken prior to even starting the job. Very reasonably priced goes above and beyond and is sure to make sure all your requests and needs are met prior to leaving. We have used him before and we will be calling him back again to do even more work!

Matt was a true professional from start to finish! Hugely helpful in our closet design - he came out before, during and after our construction project to advise on closet design and lighting /switch placement. He handled our closet install, including accompanying me to the Container Store for returns and fixes needed for some product irregularities. He was so helpful that the sales clerk at the store asked for his number as well for her home project! Matt is thoughtful, detail oriented and efficient with his time. Ten stars! I hired Matt to knock out a punch list of deferred maintenance items around my home. He arrived in a van that was fully stocked with tools and materials for all kinds of jobs. Matt was friendly, efficient, courteous and did a great job with all the repairs. Will definitely hire him again!

So we went with Matthew Jenkins who specializes in using IKEA organizers and building them in. The other estimates (like $2000-$2500 more) and designs we got were just paying more to change the materials in the already existing layout, not creating a more functional space. Some didn’t even “finish” the closet, making it a less than ideal option.
If you need some storage solutions and would rather work with someone individually than get lost in a big company, I would suggest Matt. He worked with our schedules and specific needs and wants and he made any adjustments as needed. He even fixed our broken latch on our garage door when it was bothering him going in and out 🤣

My favorite part of this closet is how everything is off the ground. No more dusty shoes + we can get rid of a huge dresser! Pumped to be able to enjoy our spaces much better! Thanks Matt!

Matt built a beautiful bar for me. It turned out wonderful. I highly recommend his work. He was responsive, prompt and professional. Great quality craftsmanship.

My closet was a dump zone. Hated my closet because we weren’t maximizing the space. I told Matt my vision, and delivered. I wanted storage for backpacks and he made it happen. I appreciated him giving me feedback on things that wouldn’t be ideal for the closet and giving other ideas .

When we were looking for someone to fix a drawer in our entertainment unit, our neighbor recommended Matthew. We were very happy with him. He was prompt to return our call, set up an appointment for a day he was in our neighborhood, arrived on time and diagnosed the problem and explained options for fixing the problem. The fix required his returning a few days later with some custom glides and shims. He arrived on time, made the adjustments, and checked that everything worked. He even brought us the wax to use annually on the drawer to keep it working.
Matthew is a good guy, he’s personable, kind, responsible and efficient. He even fixed another drawer for no charge. We highly recommend him. I give him ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
