Danielle is awesome, as is her crew. She listened, she improvised when necessary, they all did great very conscious and conscientious work. Our yard is beautiful. The only problem now that it's done is that we will miss her and the guys.

I was VERY impressed with Danielle's level of landscaping knowledge and creative vision. She was extremely thoughtful in how we planned out our landscape design from aligning it with not only the exterior of our home but was mindful to match the interior esthetics as well. She made sure to think through up-keep costs, overgrowth concerns, identifying drought resistant plants and aligning it with our preferred style. She was punctual, committed and went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend Danielle for any landscape design projects. Would definitely hire again!

It is a pleasure to review and recommend Botanically Crafted Landscapes. Danielle and her team were right on top of things from design to installation. She worked with the HOA and other installers to get a finished product on time and on budget. Danielle brings to her work an enthusiasm and expertise that gets everybody excited. I think I have the nicest yard in the neighborhood!

Danielle did an excellent job with the makeover of a turf yard to a beautiful water wise edibles and pollinators landscape. Her knowledge of plants is amazing. Danielle and her crew from Botanically Crafted Landscapes finished a major project in our backyard a week ago, and we can't believe how lucky we are to have such a beautiful and functional space! Sadly, we had to have two big old trees removed because of their proximity to the house and the damage being done by the roots. Our landscape architect, Andrea Doonan, worked with us on a plan to grade the yard and make it much more usable, with a large level area of pavers softened by two large planting beds filled with plants and shrubs that attract pollinators. We chose Botanically Crafted to make that plan a reality, and our yard has been transformed. Danielle was our first choice from the minute we met her- she is an excellent communicator and is very easy to work with, and her follow-up is exceptional. In addition, her enthusiasm for our project was almost as great as ours! Her team is excellent, with wide ranging skills that included leveling and grading the ground, cutting perfectly shaped pavers, careful planting, and installation of irrigation and lighting. The carpentry work on our new fences and gates was exceptional as well. We cannot wait to spend more time in our new and improved backyard- if you are thinking about a landscaping project, give Botanically Crafted a call!

As first time homeowners in a new development community, we didn't have a good understanding of the landscape development process. Luckily, we were referred to Danielle at Botanically Crafted Landscapes who made the process seamless and went above and beyond for us. Danielle and her crew did our entire front and backyard landscaping with installation of 2 retaining walls, pavers, turf, shade sails, a trash can enclosure, and planting and irrigation. Her crew were also very professional, reliable/hard working (showed up everyday M-F from 7am-3:30pm), and pleasant to chat with. Danielle is passionate about what she does, is very knowledgeable about the process, has a good eye for design, and she is reliable without needing oversight, which was important for us. Additionally, we always knew what to expect as Danielle was easy to communicate with and readily available. We are so happy with how everything turned out, we would hire her and her crew again in a heartbeat!

We had our backyard completely redone by Botanically Crafted Landscapes in San Diego. The business owner, Danielle, did the design, and then managed the entire project, which took about 7 weeks. We are overjoyed with the result; it is really gorgeous.

The project had some challenges, and without getting into the details, the key thing is that Danielle is SO creative and knowledgable, that these challenges ended up being non-issues. What I was most impressed by was how hands-on Danielle was for the entire project. She was here every day managing the work, and directing her staff. She was EXTREMELY detail oriented. This gave us great confidence that we could just sit back and let her do the job right. Danielle also has enormous experience with plants, and talked us through many options in detail. Danielle is also a delightful person to work with.

Danielle's staff also deserve praise. Her project manager, Jesus, did a super job. Very easy to work with. Her carpenter, Jamie, did beautiful work. He built a beautiful pergola, planting box, and enclosure for our pool mechanicals. Very stunning. The laborers were wonderful, very neat and careful. Nice guys.

So, if you have a landscaping job to be done at your house, I would highly, highly recommend Botanically Crafted Landscapes.

This woman-owned business did an excellent job of designing two modest-sized areas of our property that needed to be refreshed. She did an outstanding job of plant selection and placement, including native and drought tolerant specimens. She was very enthusiastic and fun to work with. I can't wait to show off our new garden areas!

Danielle was a delight to work with throughout the process of our landscape update out in Scripps Ranch. From design, build out, to final touches. Excellent and clear communication all throughout the process. Did not experience any misunderstandings. Quickly addressed unexpected issues. Was attentive and addressed our every detail.

Danielle’s willingness to come to Tamecula was a surprise. She was on time and we were impressed with her knowledge of plants and soil type in our area. We settled on a price to build a 50 ft retaining wall, and plant myriad bushes and flowers. Her crew showed up on the date and time agreed upon, and throughout the project we communicated frequently and addressed all of our concern. The project was finished on time even with a change order for a planter box.
We highly recommend her and give her 5 stars.

Danielle's passion for landscape design was clear from the start of the project at our home. We wanted to update our front yard with a water wise design, while still keeping our raised brick planter, and the roses that had been established years ago. Danielle's design honors the original aesthetic, and at the same time gives our yard a more unique and contemporary look. Her attention to detail and eye for color is evident in the variety of plants she chose for our yard. As the seasons change, something is always blooming. The yard was also designed to be a haven for pollinators, so it’s never without butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, which makes it seem even more lovely. We can’t recommend Danielle highly enough for her top notch landscape design skills.

I am editing to add that I could unfortunately not figure out how to post a second review, and accidentally deleted my first. Last year (2023) Danielle and her crew did an amazing job paving our patio by our pool. We were so happy with her work that we hired her and her crew to design and build our front courtyard.

We went from a fully rock and weed front yard to a beautiful courtyard retreat. I had some ideas to start and Danielle was able to make sure they would not only work, but also fit in with the existing house style and neighborhood. She created a fantastic design plan, we made a few changes, and then we signed the contract for the work to begin. She is the ideal project manager - communicative and on top of all the details - and her team was fantastic as well. Everyone was on time, worked extremely hard, and their work was impeccable.

We literally couldn't be happier with our yard and the entire design and project process.

We engaged Botanically Crafted Landscapes for the construction on a large project, and could not have been happier with the process, or more pleased with the results. We redesigned our front, back, and side yards in their entirety: demo (with lots of heavy digging and grading), new hardscape (flagstone and mortared path, a large poured-in-place concrete wall with wooden fencing, and a stone seat wall), the creation of a new food garden (fruit trees and raised vegetable beds), lots of new planting (trees, shrubs, plants, and grasses), new irrigation, and new lighting. There was no task, large or small, that Danielle and her fantastic crew didn’t handle with great care, and there was outstanding communication from beginning to end. We got great advice and guidance when we needed it, with our goals for how we (and our dog) want to use the spaces always kept at the forefront. And the education and support for maintaining the new yards has been outstanding. If there were more stars, we’d give them.

I had a wonderful experience working with Danielle and her team. Danielle was referred to me by our landscape designer who also only had positive things to say about her and her work. She took the original design for our front and back yards and brought it to fruition perfectly (and ahead of schedule). Danielle was extremely communicative, knowledgeable and reliable throughout the entire process and also taught me a lot about how to keep the yards looking their best from here on out. Danielle came highly recommended to us by a friend and she has been a pleasure to work with from the start. She is very approachable and easy to work with. Her knowledge and passion for landscape design and plants is impressive as well as infectious! Our front, back and side yards were basically a big dirt patch with soooo many weeds and overgrown bushes. Danielle took the time to listen carefully and understand our style, needs, and goals for our yard. She took the few ideas I had and incorporated them into a beautiful plan that included a new walkway, new concrete, DG, lovely colors of stone/pebble, and so many beautiful plants! She also took care of drainage and watering so it truly is low maintenance for us. Her communication, guidance and attention to detail has helped keep our project stay on track. Her outstanding crew came on time every single day, even in the scorching heat, to work on our project. They deserve recognition for all the hard work and sweat they put into transforming our space. Our yard is finally a place I like to look at and the whole family loves to spend time in. I am so thankful to Danielle and the Botanically Crafted Crew for making this happen for us.
We completed our project a couple weeks ago but she is still checking in to make sure things are going okay. If we have any questions about plant care, she is quick to respond. Would not hesitate to work with her again!

We recently had our front and side yards completely redone by Botanically Crafted. We live in Talmadge in San Diego. They did a beautiful, beautiful job, We had all of the grass and ratty old bushes and trees removed, and replaced with lovely new trees and bushes, grasses, flowers, and ground cover. We also had all of the irrigation upgraded, and also installed lights to illuminate the house and decorations. The lights are programmable, so we can change the colors depending on the season or holiday. Danielle Moher, who owns the company, Botanically Crafted, is such a pleasure to work with. She knows SO MUCH about plants and trees, and picked beautiful specimens for our yard. I think Danielle made sure we got really good plants from the local suppliers. We also had some decorative rocks installed, which are a great touch. We also had a very large fence installed along our canyon property to protect people and dogs from falling down there, VERY STEEP and dangerousl. Danielle's carpenter is wonderful and does excellent work. Danielle's staff of laborers and supervisors are also wonderful. Very nice guys, very neat, and friendly. So anyway, we would definitely recommend Botanically Crafted if you need to redo your yard. We can now hold up our heads again in the neighborhood.

From design to construction to completion the process was excellent and the end result at my La Mesa house was just beautiful. Danielle's design was totally compatible with what I wanted, low maintenance and watering, attractive to pollinators such as bees and hummingbirds, and colorful. Her hard-working crew members were polite, respectful of my property and always cleaned up everything at the end of the day. The workmanship on the block wall, pavers and brick walkway was exceptional. Danielle came by my property at least 3 times a week and was always available by phone, text or email.

Highly recommend Danielle and the Botanically Crafted team! We worked with them on a full design for our front and back yards and then an install for our front yard. Danielle is very communicative and her passion for her work comes through with every interaction. She took the time to understand our vision for our outdoor space, as well as our limitations, and created a plan for both yards that truly suited our needs and lifestyle.

The construction team completely transformed our sad front yard dirt patch into a lovely pollinator garden. The crew was friendly, efficient and took care to work with as minimal disruption as possible. Danielle has stopped by weekly since the install was completed to make sure our plants are settling in well. We greatly appreciate the whole team for making this a smooth process. We love coming home to our beautiful yard and have received many compliments from our neighbors as well.

Matthew and his associates are awesome. They are able to do all sorts of home projects. They are always responsive to what we would like them to do. Maybe more importantly after we have told them what we want, they make suggestions and have great ideas for how to accomplish the things we want. We highly recommend Matthew!
