Home Services reviews in Livermore, California

Terrible EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE.
CANT EVEN CALL AND TALK TO A PERSON. -
Looking for a commercial landscaping company that can handle anything you throw at them efficiently and cost effectively, then this is the place for you.
-
No regard for lawns or care either. Love to wake up neighborhoods and use drivable lawnmowers in lawns that are too small. Lazy and have no care for the destruction of property as every lawn in the neighborhood will become ruined because of this “company.”
-
If you don’t want your landscape to gradually die and get billed twice for maintenance services that were never done, find an actual landscaper. If there was a straight forward way to hold them accountable, they should have gone out of business a while ago.

This company is terrible, the reviews are very consistent, they break sprinklers with their lawnmower, slowly kill all of the grass and do not manage the water systems, our hoa board members have to do a lot of their work for them yet we pay them thousands of dollars. They do not care about the health of the landscape, they are not accountable, blow all of the trimming down our stairwells vs cleaning it up, completely miss areas of our community. I would not recommend this company at all.

The Regional Cancer Center "Patient Parking" spots are for individuals undergoing cancer treatment including chemotherapy, not for Jensen landscapers.
Absolutely unbelievable. Picture below shows the full parking lot and the Jensen lunch break area. -
Not a real landscaping company. They spray paint the dirt green to give the illusion of grass. They have successfully destroyed all of the lawns on this property. This company is a scam and the pictures uploaded are proof of it.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the team at JPA Landscape, and I can confidently say they are amazing. From the moment you interact with them, you can tell they truly care about their work and their customers. The staff is professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to come across a team that combines skill with such a genuine, positive attitude. Highly recommend JPA Landscape to anyone looking for quality service and great people!

I am a community manager and use JPA Landscape & Construction on an account of mine. I have worked closely with Maddisan, Melody, Chris & Luis and have received excellent service from all four. Extremely fast response time and great work!

Our HOA common area was having somewhat severe problems with our irrigation system. As the new Board member charged with watching over our common area and pool, I called on JPA landscape to come out and diagnose the problem. Our HOA has been using JPA since I moved into the neighborhood 5 years years ago. They also handle landscape maintenance for my own house. Always dependable, friendly, and efficient, JPA technicians have been quick to address problems. Most recently, JPA tracked down a disconnect between our timer and a zone that was not watering. Took a lot of digging, searching and then tracing to figure out that the wire had somehow become disconnected and that earlier HOA members had improvised a fix. Mr. Carlos, our tech, figured the problem out, reset our timer, and now the property is thoroughly watered. This company is easy to work with, smart, and honest. I highly recommend their services.

I am a board member of a small HOA, JPA has been our landscape company for about 2 years. They have always provided us with the same level of service as a much larger customer, they answer phone calls and e-mails promptly and deliver on what they promise. I would not hesitate to recommend them to other multi-unit property owners.

One of their employees was riding a lawnmower and broke my passenger window with a rock off his lawnmower blade, they took the responsibility for it, took them about 4 months to finally pay me. When I received the check it was short on 1 part and the taxes I paid for the parts needed to replace my broken window caused by them.
This company is horrible and I'm glad my HOA dropped their contract and went with a different company.
Never do business with these people!! -
Think twice before hiring this company to maintain your landscaping.
They were hired to maintain the landscape for a property built in 2019. Our landscaping has suffered under their care. They are basically a “mow and blow” service. Their workers lack training, supervision and common sense. You would expect a landscaping company to be proactive about identifying issues in the landscape so that it could be remedied in a timely manner. More often than not, they don’t act unless it is reported by homeowners. At which point, the damage has already been done. If you decide to go with this company, be prepared to do a lot of babysitting.
During the course of 5 years, the following has happened at our property:
-They were asked to remove a dead tree. They ended up removing the tree next to it that was flowering and obviously alive.
-Vast majority of trees on the property are leaning due to lack of maintenance. They rarely redid the stakes over the past 5 years and failed to train the trees to grow up right. Now it maybe too late to correct it.
-They don’t seem to notice when plants are dying. They do not remove dead plants. They don’t remove weeds.
-They severely prune the flowering bushes into hedges to the point where the plants don’t get to bloom each season. Various shrubs are stunted and deformed due to their pruning.
-They blew away all the mulch including the special, expensive mulch used in the bioswale. They have blown all the topsoil from the flowerbeds exposing rock, plastic, pipes, irrigation pipes/tubes.
-They are contracted to visit weekly but don’t always show up. Some weeks, they show up and do minimal work. Have seen them blow areas that don’t have leaves or any debris possibly to show they are “working”
-They failed to maintain the irrigation system. This has resulted in various trees, shrubs dying throughout the property. There was a period of 2 months last year during the summer where they failed to notice that the trees were dying from an irrigation failure. By the time it was fixed, 9 grown trees had died. This year, more trees are dying and they didn’t address it until a resident reported it. At which point they found irrigation issues and will be charging the HOA $600 to fix it. Why did they have to wait for a resident to report it?
-Shrubs fell over during a storm. Despite being observed on site for 2 weeks, they did not seem to notice them. They were not removed until a resident reported it 3 weeks later.
-Workers have cut down landscaping plants possibly thinking they are weeds? I have no idea what their thought process is. They seem to cut stuff randomly possibly to show they are doing “work.”
Anyway photos/videos speak louder than words.
You’ve been warned. -
Our HOA hired JPA through our management company, and unfortunately, the service was consistently disappointing. Despite repeated requests, many maintenance tasks were delayed or ignored. Communication was poor, and several homeowners experienced dismissive or rude behavior when raising concerns. In our opinion, JPA appeared more responsive to the management company than to the residents they were hired to serve. As a board, we eventually decided to end the contract due to ongoing issues with accountability and quality of work. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend their services.

Very responsive and efficient. We had a valve for our timed irrigation system crack and water was spraying all over. We spoke midday on a Saturday and they repaired it by 730 PM. Very grateful for their quality work.

Allied Landscape is great. I have used them over the past 10 years for my Industrial Real Estate portfolio in both Livermore and Oakland. My rep, Veronica Wahl was fantastic and was always there when needed.
They assisted me me with a xeriscape conversions to help save water. They helped with proper plant selection and they have stood the test of time best looking buildings in the area that all the others try to copy. Not even close.
I would recommend them for their great customer service and knowledge. They are the best. -
I have been working with Leo Gonzalez for our property here in Dublin and he has been great to work with! Very responsive and accommodating. Thank you Allied!

I am an HOA Manager. I have been working with Allied Landscaping for some time now. They are an absolutely a breath of fresh air compared to others. Presentations on point, quick responses times, monthly site walks. Overall, one of the best I've worked with.

I have had the pleasure of working with Leo Gonzalez for my property in Dublin. He combines professionalism, knowledge and genuinely cares about our community. Leo is always there if I have questions, and goes above and beyond to resolve issues that come up. I always get prompt responses when I need assistance, even after hours, if necessary. We are very lucky to have such a thoughtful, dedicated person to oversee our community.

I’ve been consistently impressed with the level of service provided by this company, but the standout has been the account manger assigned to my properties, Leo Gonzalez. His responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to solving issues made such a strong impression that I’ve decided to award additional properties to their team. It’s rare to find someone who elevates the entire customer experience the way he does.
