MTZ Contractors did an outstanding job transforming our home with a full-scale renovation that exceeded all expectations. Their scope included removing the wall between our kitchen and living room to create a seamless open-concept floor plan, concealing new structural beams and posts within the ceiling, removing three windows, and installing all-new cabinets, appliances, and a stunning 4' x 9' waterfall island. The project was completed on time—in just eight weeks—and right on budget, exactly as promised. Tony and his crew were not only professional and skilled, but also incredibly friendly; over the course of the project, they truly became part of our family. The craftsmanship is remarkable—so much so that our cabinet manufacturer is sending a camera crew to photograph the final result. MTZ Contractors have just finished doing a series of home renovation projects for me. Their work was outstanding. MTZ Contractors did remodel work on my two bathrooms and my kitchen. Each project exceeded my expectations. My bathrooms were in desperate need of work which included repairing the floors after the demolition phase revealed serious water damage. The bathrooms were re-tiled and new cabinets and fixtures were installed to provide me with beautiful and more functional bathrooms.

My kitchen required substantial work to bring it up to current code compliance by adding additional electrical breakers for my kitchen appliances. Again, there was a need to repair and replace sections of the kitchen floor. The installation of the cabinets, countertops and the tile floor turned out beautiful and made the kitchen far more functional.

What was so impressive about MTZ Contractors was the skill and expertise of the team members. Whether it was the electrical panel updates, countertop installation, tile setting, or the plumbing work, each team member did an excellent job on their specific tasks. Their performance made the overall project go smoothly. In particular, Gilberto, the MTZ primary worker was always conscientious and professional. My “new” kitchen is almost too “beautiful ”to use.

The best thing about MTZ Contractors Is General Contractor Tony Martinez. Tony was so good at also identifying those things about my older house that needed to be upgraded. He gave us referrals for our roofing project and furnace replacement. He was able to troubleshoot problems that we were having unrelated to the remodel work and addressed those issues as well. Tony has an aesthetic and perfectionist eye. The work he did as he directed his crews was exceptional. Little things like changing door knobs, handles and brackets to match the color of the new fixtures provided a uniform pallet for our bathrooms and kitchen.

I highly recommend MTZ Contractors for any construction and/or remodel work. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome and the improvement on quality of my home.

I had all new kitchen appliances delivered and unfortunately the stove did not fit it was about a quarter of an inch too wide. I contacted Pacific cabinets and countertops and Marvin was very helpful. He told me he could come out the next day to cut the granite stone so the stove could slide in. Highly recommend them!
