Bella Vista recently completed our backyard landscaping in Roseville and we are very pleased with the end result. At a high level we told Mike what we wanted (patio, fire pit and fountain area, etc.) and he came up with a functional design that gives us the space to entertain guests and enjoy relaxing in our backyard. We enjoyed working with Mike; he’s very professional, customer focused and maintained a high level of communication with us throughout the project which we appreciated. Mike and his team renovated our front and back yards. The work performed was outstanding. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the artificial turf installation process and the products to be used. He incorporated our basic ideas into a gorgeous yard with new plants, rock wall, irrigation, rocks, and high quality turf. Mike stayed in contact with us throughout the project. And Mike is great at design. At the end of the day, our property/yard was left clean and neat. Mike and his team were courteous and professional. We highly recommend Bella Vista.

After my daughter recommended Bella Vista and Mike I contacted him for renovations to my back yard. Mike and his crew finished today and I am extremely happy with the results. Bella Vista did our grass roughly 2 years ago and just came out to brush. Our grass still looks absolutely perfect and we have gotten so much use out of the area. Before installing, they also suggested we get solar screens to spare our grass any scorch marks, which we really appreciated. I would happily hire them again and recommend to anyone looking to get artificial turf.

We contracted with Mike Warner at Bella Vista to install artificial pet turf in our backyard. From start to finish Mike (owner) and Daniel (employee) were a joy to work with. They replaced old sod/dirt on one side of the yard and replaced artificial turf put in incorrectly last year on other side. The entire project went exactly as Mike said it would, no surprises, right on schedule... and we are beyond happy with the end result.

Our across the street neighbor used Bella Vista Artificial Grass and Landscaping to design and landscape their front and backyard. We were very impressed with the aesthetics of the design and plant selection, as well as the professionalism with which it was installed. We walked across the street and met the business owner, Mike Warner, and scheduled an appointment to discuss ideas for landscaping the backyard of our new build home. The end product was everything we wished for and more. The timing of the concrete work was well coordinated with the installation of our new patio cover (beautifully done by RAL Builders). Throughout the project Mike Warner did an excellent job of keeping us informed, treating us fairly, and going out of his way to understand and address our concerns (including a last minute change order to install a snake fence after we found multiple rattlesnakes on our court). We highly recommend this company.

Bella Vista installed artificial turf in our backyard. Mike was always prompt to reply, made several visits to our home to discuss layout and address all our questions. We specifically discussed some trees we had in our backyard and how the turf could potentially impact them. We consulted with an arborist as well, and he agreed with everything Mike had told us. Mike is clearly knowledgeable and professional, and cares about the quality of his work and the long term impacts. They also did some drainage work and made sure everything drained from the backyard out to the street.

Our overall experience working with Mike was extremely positive. Our yard was a new build - we knew what we wanted and Bella Vista outdid themselves to bring it to life! We love our yard - it exceeded our expectations. Our turf is perfect. He also respected our time and budget. Gary and his crews turned out landscape designers vision into reality. They did this on time and with great attention to detail. Gary, personally, took the time to come out and monitor the work throughout the length of the job.

We had an amazing landscape design created by a local designer. Unfortunately, Holt was one of their only two 'preferred' landscape contractors. I contacted Holt to provide us with a quote on the entire project. Holt stopped by a week later, on appointment, and listened to what I wanted and took measurements and photos of the project.

I didn't hear back for more than two weeks, and after sending in an inquiry, I was finally provided a quote which was more than double what our designer had estimated! Our quote, for our 38' by 16' tiny backyard was around $50,000!!! $9,500 for a trellis with a roman sail, and $8,800 for a 3' round fish pond were some of the charges! I wrote back and said I didn't anticipate such a high cost, and nor did our designer, so I asked Holt if I could work in phases, also doing some of the menial labor myself (I can apply herbicide and break up a concrete square in front of my door and save the $850 they wanted to charge). Holt has ignored me ever since, and it's quite apparent that if we don't want to spend an entire $50,000 all at once, they have no interest in doing business with us.

Always get multiple quotes, and I highly suggest you all go in phases, hiring specific licensed contractors for specific jobs. You will save a lot of money that way, though it may take you longer to complete your project, it will be worth it in the end.

We used Holt Landscape to covert our front yard to a drought resistant area, They put in a beautiful retaining wall to level out the slope of the yard. We were extremely pleased with the final results, and would recommend Holt Landscape.

Hired to do both my front and back yard. I appreciated that he actually listened to what I asked for and put that in the proposal. The flagstone, pergola, trellises and new plants look great, and they made sure the water and drainage system was setup for the expanded needs. They also built a planting bed and retaining wall for a front yard courtyard area. The site was cleaned up and the project was done in well under the expected timeline.
