Constraction reviews in Manhattan Beach, California

BrilliantBuilds General Contractors truly stands out for home remodeling and repair services. We woke up to discover our guest house in Manhattan Beach had flooded from a plumbing issue, causing major water damage. When we reached out for help, someone answered right away and guided us through the entire process. Brent was extremely helpful, making sure we understood each step and keeping in touch with both our landlord and insurance. By mid-morning, the crew arrived to start the repairs and handle the insurance paperwork. The team, including Devin and Howard, explained their approach and gave us great advice for protecting our belongings. Even though dealing with water damage is stressful, the crew made everything smooth and easy. We are very happy with their quick response and professional work, and would definitely recommend their services for any home remodeling or restoration needs.

I hired a home remodeling company to renovate my bathroom, add tile in my powder room, install a new kitchen backsplash, and take care of a few other updates around my house. Devin and Brent were professional and quick to respond from the very beginning. They shared helpful suggestions based on their experience and always made sure I felt good about the choices we were making together. Every member of their crew was polite and respectful, which made me feel comfortable having them work in my home during the remodel. Quality and reasonable pricing were really important to me, and this team delivered both on every part of the project. The attention to detail and the way they kept the work areas clean from start to finish was impressive. I definitely recommend this company for anyone looking to remodel their home, and I will be reaching out to them again for future projects. Remodeling can be stressful, but they made the whole process smooth and easy.

The team did outstanding work and managed my home remodeling projects with great care from start to finish. They handled major improvements at my Manhattan Beach home, including replacing a large section of my lower roof and fixing water-damaged exterior wood siding. They also repaired some interior drywall that had water damage and swapped out a noisy attic exhaust fan for a much quieter one. The project management fee was definitely worth it—communication was clear throughout, and I was always able to review and approve any updates to the scope before any changes were made. With my background in engineering project management, I was especially impressed by the team’s focus on detail and their dedication to high-quality results. Every team member and subcontractor I met, like Ryan, was professional and clearly took pride in their work. The whole process was stress-free, even though the project was pretty involved. I highly recommend this team for anyone looking for reliable and skilled home remodeling services in Manhattan Beach.

we hired a local remodeling company to redo our front and back yards. we had them put in new turf, lay down pavers, and build a sturdy fence in the front, plus install turf in the back. from the first meeting with our project manager maxwell, we felt at ease and could tell he really understood the remodeling process. even though the price wasn’t the lowest we found, it was worth it to have one team handle everything. maxwell carefully checked each part of the job and always made sure we were satisfied before any payments were due. the total cost matched the original quote, and the quality of the finished work is excellent. we’re really glad we chose this company and maxwell, and we’ll definitely recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors looking for home remodeling services.

BrilliantBuilds General Contractors did an outstanding job with my home remodeling project. They expanded my master bedroom to include a spacious bathroom and a walk-in closet, which turned out even better than I imagined. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but Maxwell was patient and explained everything clearly, making sure I understood each step. The crew was thorough, paid great attention to detail, and offered fair pricing. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, always showing up on time and maintaining a positive attitude. After working with several general contractors in the past, I can say it’s rare to find a team that communicates this well. If you need a reliable company for your remodel, I highly recommend them. I’m extremely happy with the results!

professional from start to finish! i reached out to brilliantbuilds general contractors when our bathroom remodel project got overwhelming and our previous contractor stopped responding. my call in the afternoon was picked up quickly and i was treated with respect. i explained what was going on, and was given some helpful suggestions on what might be needed. we set up an appointment for the very next morning. howard arrived on time, looking professional, and took a careful look at the bathroom and our fixtures. he explained what needed to be done and the steps to get everything back on track. the work started right away, and within a couple of hours, the bathroom was looking fantastic. i followed the tips he gave me for ongoing care, and was told someone would check in soon to make sure everything was perfect. based on the great service, how quickly the issue was handled, and the friendly attitude, i give this team 5 out of 5 stars!

i can't say enough good things about brilliantbuilds general contractors. after buying our home, it needed a lot of remodeling work to make it comfortable, safe, and just the way we imagined. over several big projects—including a breezeway and bathroom update, a new master suite, creating a deck and patio room, and most recently turning the garage into a beautiful dining and music space—we’ve kept working with them because the craftsmanship is always top notch and they’re people you can trust. ryan and the crew really listened to our ideas, and helped turn the house into the dream home we had pictured from the beginning. for me, a great remodel isn’t just about things going smoothly (because honestly, surprises come up in every renovation), but about how issues get handled. any time something unexpected happened, we always found a calm, smart solution together—never any drama or arguments. i know i can count on them to see the job through, and i’m looking forward to having them help us with the kitchen next. we’re really grateful for all the hard work and attention to detail!

after living in our townhome for many years, we decided it was time for a full remodel and wanted everything done just right. we needed a contractor who could handle a large renovation, from design choices that matched our taste and budget, to making sure the construction work was solid and safe. we met with ryan and devin, who brought a lot of knowledge and experience to our project. ryan made sure all the major work, like rebuilding a shear wall, redoing the kitchen, updating the bathrooms and bedrooms, and even reworking the fireplace and bar, was done with real attention to detail. we also got new engineered hardwood flooring put in throughout the home, plus new LED lighting and smart bathroom fans. the crew always cleaned up at the end of each day, which made it much easier for us to see the progress and feel comfortable during the whole process. devin was amazing at helping us pick out cabinets, fixtures, paint, tile for the bathrooms and kitchen, and even the fireplace mantle. her suggestions really helped tie everything together and took a lot of stress out of making decisions. all the updates truly reflect our style, and everything flows nicely from room to room. we are so happy with how everything turned out and definitely recommend this team for any home remodeling project. we love our new home!

A few months ago, brilliantbuilds general contractors designed and built an addition to my home. We looked at five different remodeling companies with strong online ratings and got three quotes for the same project based on our plans. Ryan's estimate came in about $40,000 lower than the others. The competitive price, along with their excellent reviews, really helped us choose them for our home remodel. To feel even more confident, we talked to a few of their previous clients, who all said they were very happy with the results on their homes. Ryan was very trustworthy and straightforward throughout the process. The final price matched the original quote—there were no hidden charges or surprises. Ryan made sure we were completely satisfied with the finished addition. The crew worked hard and got the job done efficiently, always keeping the quality at a high level. we are very happy with our new space and would recommend this team to anyone looking for a major home remodeling project done right, with top-notch quality and a fair price.

As a new homeowner in Manhattan Beach, diving into home remodeling was a whole new experience for me. I started out by asking friends if they knew any reliable contractors, but most of the recommendations were either for big commercial projects or for folks who didn't have much experience. Everything changed when I visited a friend’s house and saw her newly remodeled kitchen—it looked amazing, and I knew I wanted the same level of quality. My friend shared the contact info for the contractor who had done her kitchen. I reached out and was quickly connected with Ryan, who responded right away and set up an appointment. He showed up on time, walked me through the process, and sent over a clear, detailed proposal. Ryan turned out to be the ideal contractor for me—he is honest, organized, and pays attention to every little detail. Communication was always prompt, whether by text or email, and he made sure to answer all my questions. The remodeling crew that Ryan brought in was just as professional and detail-oriented. They arrived on time every day, were always polite, and took great care with every step of the master shower renovation. Even though my project was smaller compared to some of the bigger remodels they handle, I truly appreciated the attention and care they gave it. While it might have been possible to find a lower-priced contractor, I’m confident I wouldn’t have received the same top-notch results. The quality of work was outstanding, and now my master shower feels like a dream come true. I’m already looking forward to starting my next remodeling project with this team!
