Constraction reviews in Modesto, California

I was very pleased with the brick work Daniel’s crew did for me. Replaced a brick facing that had pulled away from the house. Had to replace some of the used bricks and did an excellent job matching the bricks. Daniel is an excellent communicator and communicated each step of the progress. The job was done efficiently and I was impressed with the care and cleanup they did at my property. Would highly recommend HSD Masonry. Joyce

Daniel immediately returned my call, sent pictures of possible ideas and easily negotiated a date and time to begin the work. Most impressive was his prompt arrival, cleanup and beautiful result. I would definitely recommend HSD Masonry to everyone.

We have used HSD Masonry multiple times for our home projects. Each time Daniel has ensured to keep excellent communication. The work is done beautifully and he will verify you are truly satisfied. We will continue to use his company for all our future needs!

Our experience with Daniel and his crew at HSD was amazing!! Considering a stuccoed cinder block wall is a life long investment and upgrade to your property, it could be quite daunting for the decisions you’re going to make. Daniel made several trips to discuss finishes and the process. When it came time for the final coat, Daniel’s stucco masons kept applying while my wife watched and gave her approval on the finished project. Since the wall has been completed, we have had many compliments and numerous people stopping to ask who did the work.
We are now moving to next stage of the backyard remodel which will require around 30 yards of multi level concrete. Daniel will have first dibs on bidding it.
I would recommend HSD any day!!

Great workers for quality work. I would definitely work with this company in the future. It was very nice to work with Daniel on our home project. Our driveway turned out awesome! Thanks to Daniel and his hard working crew

Thank you for your excellent work and customer service! I highly recommend HSD Masonry to anyone looking for specialized rock work. Your cleanliness, attention to detail and courtesy is truly appreciated. Thank you for making our house look beautiful! Thanks again, Scott & Tara McHenry

Daniel came to our house and did some yard renovation, and our backyard absolutely needed it. It was horrible to begin with, but he made it look absolutely amazing. I highly recommend his team and his company; they do an incredible job. Their commitment to doing quality work is evident. If you need yard work done, I highly recommend them. I will be posting pictures. I’ll be using them from now on for future projects

My experience with Daniel and his crew at HSD Masonry was outstanding! They always kept me informed every step of the way on the project! They always cleaned up before they left for the day! I would recommend HSD Masonry to my family and friends ! If i ever need more Masonry work done , they will be my go to crew!

I had a cracked cement outdoor fireplace repaired and a large, very old, leaking outdoor cement pond repaired. Daniel did an excellent job of explaining what was needed. Daniel and his workers were professional and skillful. The repair work was great, and I am very happy with the results. A+

I recently had the pleasure of working with Daniel on a concrete project at my house, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. From the very first appointment, I knew Daniel was someone who values professionalism. He showed up on time for every scheduled meeting and kept to his word, which I truly appreciate. He didn’t waste any of my time, and that reliability was refreshing.

The quality of the concrete work itself was outstanding. Daniel and his team displayed incredible attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the floor was done to perfection. You could tell they cared about their craftsmanship and didn’t cut any corners. His crew was equally impressive—hardworking, thorough, and committed to delivering top-notch results. They worked efficiently but didn’t rush, making sure the job was done right the first time.

In addition to the concrete work, Daniel and his team took on much more than I expected. They transformed my entire house! From installing a stunning wrought iron design for the front porch to putting in a sliding gate, they went beyond what I initially thought possible. These additions weren’t even part of the original plan but came up during a casual conversation, and I’m thrilled they did. Their designs were better than I could have imagined!

They also installed new sod, designed my sprinkler system, added a beautiful planter in the backyard, and installed low-voltage lighting that perfectly highlights my home’s features at night. The transformation has been nothing short of spectacular. I’ve even caught people driving by, slowing down to admire the beauty of my home! My neighbors have come over to compliment the quality of the job, and I couldn’t be more pleased.

What stands out most to me about Daniel, though, is his honesty and transparency. He was upfront about every step of the process, explaining what to expect, and he kept me in the loop throughout the project. His kindness and approachable demeanor made it easy to communicate with him, and I truly felt I could trust him.

Daniel is the kind of contractor I look forward to working with again and again. I wish more contractors were like him—honest, reliable, and highly skilled. As I plan for future properties and projects, I pray I’ll have the opportunity to hire him for all my concrete and design needs. I’m beyond pleased with the outcome, and this has been one of the best decisions I’ve made when hiring a contractor. If I could give 20 stars or more, I would!

Show up..waste your time and promise estimate and never call back..Dont waste your time

Rafael Angeles, Owner, is a professional and has done several repairs at our home. He and his team bring their expertise and provide quality workmanship. Mr. Angeles is always polite and ready to listen and make suggestions that save time and money. We are always very pleased with the work that is done by him and his team.

Remodeled our fireplace wall. 7 Contractors are very professional, personable, and reasonably priced. They listened to my vision and executed beautifully.
Tesio helped me conceptualize the design and has custom built my mantel and cabinet which elevated the design well beyond my expectations. I did get a lot of compliments on the design and the mantle. I will definitely call them again for any future projects.

Great people to work with from start to finish. They did our master bathroom and bedroom fire place and we will have them back to do more work in the near future. The one thing we really liked is that the all the supplies are up to you so if you have a budget in mind it falls on you to stay there. If you have all your supplies work is never delayed. Do appreciate that when you run something by them they will suggest something that looks the same but will save you money. They even told us where to go for our supplies for the best prices. They always showed up on time and did a full days work. Kept their area as clean as they could being an active construction zone. We were there largest bathroom they have ever done and we could not be happier with the outcome.

Truck #6219 was driving recklessly 3/1/2024. For a company that is committed to safety, it doesn't seem very safe for your truck to be driving that way. They cut me off and nearly hit my vehicle.

I actually seen truck #6219 and thought he was carrying himself and his load with the confidence, skill and expertise that a rather experienced trucker would be driving like. As for the cry baby wahwahing about how trucker #6219 Is a cutter cutter peanut butter, I am ashamed in you. You should know better than to go all out and try ruining someones job. Specially over something as miniscule as line cutting. You remind me of the Karen's and darrens that make a scene whenever your favorite food restaurant runs out of your favorite ingredient. All in fair view I think trucker #6219 is a good driver and clearly has the known how to squeeze into tight spaces seeing as he managed to get your spot haha.
