Reviews of local pros in Modesto, California

Our AC stopped working, and Leonard came out and had it running by 9am the next morning. This is the second time we have used this company and will continue to use them for all of our AC needs. They are fast, reasonable, professional, and fair. I highly recommend this company. Thank you!

UPDATE: The AC was not working properly after the first repair, and these guys came out two more times within a few days until it was fixed, at no additional charge. I really appreciate their attentiveness to the extreme temperatures and their quick response to getting it working again. We will continue to call this company with any further problems. Thank you!

7/3/2024 UPDATE: Our AC went out again during a miserable heat wave, and these guys squeezed me in and quickly fixed it. They had to replace a capacitor. I really appreciate the honesty, quality work, and great communication of this company. I will always call these guys for AC help.

9/24/25 UPDATE: Another great encounter with the company. Had a wiring issue with our AC, and Vladimir fixed it quickly. We will always call this company first. Thank you!

Vladimir from A L Affordable Air & Heat did a great job repairing my heating unit, he arrived on the time we agreed to, was patient and explained in layman's term what was going on with the unit and what needed replacing, had needed parts on his truck and even replaced the broken thermostat. Even did business the old way with a handshake (which is very rare in this day and age) us old timers appreciate the way service and business used to be done. House is nice and warm now. I definitely look to do business with for future heating issues.

This is the best A/C-Heating company in the business. Leonard was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem quick . He is a true professional at what he does. I will be using this company going forward for all of my A/C-Heating issues.

Daniel was awesome. Great communication, came prepared, fixed my A/C in record time. And double checked everything. Incredibly happy with this company

We put in a claim with our home warranty, and we were contacted by A L the same day. We were serviced the very next day. Vladimir was prompt and polite. He diagnosed the issue quickly and had a replacement part in his van. He went above and beyond by offering us a maintenance as well.

Fast and affordable! AL Heat & Air responded quickly to my service call. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the repairs he made. He got my unit up and running again in no time. Highly recommend!

I’d like to thank AL Affordable for their fast and friendly service. Both Lenard and Daniel were professional, friendly and respectful. My A/C went out on Sunday and was fixed by Tuesday. I can’t thank them enough for their quick response to our A/C needs. Would highly recommend them. Thanks again.
Very fast and quick response to my call. Very professional and friendly. Thanks again 😃

Vladimir from AL Affordable arrived promptly when scheduled. Professional and thorough, he systematically checked my HVAC components. He not only addressed the issue that I had called about, but was able to fix other issues he found during his call. He and his assistant were kind and considerate throughout the call. I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

Leonard was truly a lifesaver! Our AC went out and we called him that morning he was able to get us in and solve the issue! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has AC issues. He worked fast and diligently! Great customer service! If l could give a million stars l would!

After being told we’d have to have the whole unit replaced A L Affordable came in and was able to get the part nobody else could. Within the week we had parts ordered and on the way. Will most definitely use them again and refer them to friends and family.

The staff and service provider were so helpful and kind. They communicated efficiently and were friendly. They solved our AC problem quickly and without added stress to us. I would recommend them.

These guys are great. They’re the only ones I call for heating and air conditioning.
They respond quickly and will come back several times till you figure out what exactly is going on (we needed an electrician to come out twice) . I live out of state now and recently called for my mother‘s house and Leonard was there the same day .
Leonard, you are a rockstar!

Great service, explained and showed me the problem with my A/C unit. Fixed the problems and add refrigerant to the unit. They also recommend to service every year because the unit is old and has a small leak. Great experience and service, thank you

He was very honest and respectful was not trying to sell me a brand new unit which I appreciate, also liked how he gave me tips how to keep that maintenance up so it’ll last me forever

Great service ever time, and quick service. Very reliable. Would recommend to others.

They were awesome to work with. Very professional and listened to all of our requests. Also very fast and efficient in fixing the problem once the parts arrived from AHS.

He showed up on time, was very informative about everything related to our system and answered all my questions. Best part is my AC was up and running in less than a half hour and I got to enjoy a cool house once again. They truly saved the day and their customer service and professionalism goes above and beyound.
