I’ve been here before & was helped very well. I came again & no one came up to me to see if I needed help, I had to look for people to help me . & there was an employee whom was probably in a bad mood due to the heat, I asked a question & the employee knew the answer wish was great but seemed in a bad mood. I still will give them four stars because they do help you find what you need & the two ladies that helped me at the computer were very helpful & nice .

It is a charming place to find a variety of gardening tools and supplies and plants, including unique quilt greeting cards and gifts. The customer service is exceptional. You can get a 10% discount if you are an Arboretum Member.

This is one of the more full service and well organized garden centers in the area. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Rose and fruit tree selections were quite good. There are numerous vegetable starters, garden plants and shrubs to choose from. They feature Mother Earth brand of soils and amendments and Monrovia brand of transplant ready trees and shrubs.

Very nice people and the ambiance is clean. The plants are well kept but can add a bit of humidity for the indoor tropical plants. Slightly brown on the tips but a VERY VERY beautiful angel wing begonia was what I picked up. Fully recommend for those plant needs

I had such a great experience at Armstrong Garden Center in Monrovia thanks to Tracee. She went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect Japanese maple. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine enthusiasm made the whole process so enjoyable. She took the time to explain the differences between varieties, helped me find one that would thrive in my space, and made sure it was absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with my new tree, and the excellent service from Tracee made all the difference. Highly recommend asking for her if you’re looking for expert guidance and friendly help.

Hired Edwin to install a pendant light fixture in our kitchen. He did a nice clean job, responsive to my messages, very friendly and in my opinion very honest, saved us some money. Will definitely reach out to Edwin for future jobs. Highly recommend.

When our bathroom needed an upgrade we searched @google for the best carpenter they could algorithm in our area and google delivered in spectacular fashion. Our home was built in 1922 and requires a specialized set of skills to navigate the old electrical, plumbing and redwood structure. Edwin Reyes is a renaissance contractor whose knowledge of electrical, plumbing, woodworking and carpentry is extraordinarily beyond his years. He always followed through, always showed up on time and showed out with his skill, innovative approach and expertise at problem based solutions with older homes. I would recommend Edwin for any home or building projects because he is professional, kind, thoughtful and never cuts corners no matter what. He also listens to amazing classic rock on 93.5 FM, which is my jam.
