I had the privilege of collaborating with Bay Scenery on a landscape design project recently, and I'm absolutely delighted with the results. Our property featured an aging swimming pool that was in dire need of a complete makeover, and what truly impressed me was Bay Scenery's prowess as both pool builders and landscape experts.
We have had our home for great many years, looked at how we might be able to refresh the outdoor area for the past few years but stopped short of getting some ideas from various designers that we worked with. Its very hard for us to visualize the end results so we always stopped and wondered what it would look like and never started construction part of it. We saw an ad from Bay Scenery and visited their site and saw their portfolio, they seemed to use a lot of 3D renderings that looked great. Contacted them and after a short visit by one of their project managers, we asked to go and see one of the sites that they have done renderings for to see how good were the end results vs what they designed and rendered. We were amazed when we visited one of their client sites, the rendering was as if it was a picture that was taken from the site. Contacted them back and went through a design process that took about 2.5 months from beginning to the end but they were very much willing to work with my wife and I to make updates and adjustments as we needed them. Some of that time was probably caused by us being very picky but they helped us get where we wanted to be. Construction crew is amazing, they are courteous and very much skilled in what they do. They were at the project every day from 8am to 4pm until the project was finished. The construction took about 6 weeks from beginning to end. Very organized company to work with, great people and lots of skill and caring for what they do.
I have been wanting to do a new ADU build for my backyard for a while so that the older parents would have a place to stay in a few years. Have been going around and talking to a few architects and initial fees were in tens of thousands of dollars which seemed excessive considering that the entire ADU cost to build would be not more than $350K which was my budget. It seemed silly to pay 15% to 20% of that budget towards architecture work. Talked to a neighbor who has one built and they said look for a design and build company, they do it all. They did refer me to their builder however they were not taking a new client and their builder suggested I talk to Bay Scenery as it is both design and build and they apparently did the design for this other project as well. Talked to them, the process was really smooth and easy in 2 months I had my design completely done and in my hand. They did excellent job with the whole process. We are now in the permit phase with the city that could take a bit of time but wanted to give these guys at Bay Scenery an A+ for their design process and their team. When we get to the build after the permit I will probably do an update as well but i have no doubt that they will do fine as they gave me a few of their clients to talk to and they were all happy. Now lets say what sort of process we have to deal with the city, I pay plenty of taxes lets see what sort of service I get from them
