Mohr Power did a great job installing our solar on our roof. It works great and we’re so happy that our electric bill is so tiny now.

I got in touch with Jason to get a residential quote. He gave me a 30k price for 8.8kw system. When I asked about the price breakdown, he said "I don’t break it down that way it’s a total installed price". Then there is no communication since he did not probably like working with a knowledgeable customer.

This type of non-transparent local businesses seeking to milk people are actually damaging the industry. They say support local, well here is it. Now support local as much as you can...

Bought my sunpower system 14 years ago. Mohr power installed it. My inverter went out after so many years. Sunpower and there contractors ignored my continues calls for help. I called mohr power and they pointed me in the correct direction to acquire a inverter that worked with a positive grounded system. They were more then happy to come out and install it. Very friendly staff.

Mohr put solar in my house in 2017. They came out and fixed an issue immediately after it was first installed. What has really impressed me, is that they continue to monitor its performance remotely, and dispatched a technician this week without request to fix an issue with two panels I didnt know I had. Customer service from a bygone era!

I had Mohr Power install a solar water heating system for my indoor pool. The result was perfect, my water temperature is 87 degrees and its only March 12! We will have wonderful water temperatures for over 9 months of the year. I will also be able to heat up our attached spa to a comfortable temperature without the gas heater.
The technical team did a professional job, only downside was the delay with the county permit approval which was out of the control of Mohr.

the salesperson was great. The installation had a lot of glitches although they were fixed. Initially we were able to go online to monitor the panels and production. There was a switch with the online monitoring and we can non longer view the panels/production online. I would like to be able to see the production. I have recommended Mohr Solar to my friends.

Mohr Power Solar installed the 8-panel Heliocol solar system for our pool in 2012. Parts, panels, and labor are covered by the manufacturer for 12 years (panel clamps and gaskets are not included in the warranty). The system has been generally trouble-free. In mid-May, two header tubes on a panel developed leaks. I also noticed then that several panel clamps and gaskets were leaking. Mohr Power Solar was scheduled to come out on 5/18 to repair the leaks. The technician was to call to let us know he was on the way. I waited all day at home, no call. No call rescheduling the appointment that week, so I called Mohr Power Solar – 4 days later. Despite losing a day, I tried to be understanding when told that the tech was delayed on a job. They rescheduled the appointment for 5/24. Once again, I was told that the tech would call before coming over. Once again, I waited all day at home – no call. When I called back the next day to inquire why, I was told Brittany would call me back to reschedule the appointment. It has now been over a week, and she hasn’t called me back to reschedule. After not being able to swim for weeks because of the panel leak, I finally repaired it myself temporarily with a drop of super glue and read on the Internet how to permanently repair it with a Heliocol plug kit you can buy on Amazon. I also ended up replacing 6 leaking panel clamps with parts I bought on Amazon. Great solar system, lousy customer service. Mohr Power Solar obviously doesn’t stand behind the product they installed or care about the impact they have on customers when they miss appointments or fail to call customers back.

This is a family business and everyone is super nice. Great service. We were up and running day of install. I’m on net metering 2.0 and we are enjoying paying less than 10% of what we used to for power. Thanks, Mohr!

I had recently received my year end electric bill and it was extremely high I went to the garage to check my inverters and no power to the system. I called Mohr power who installed my system and set up a service call. They cancelled that due to technicians being ill. I rescheduled which was a week later as I am a doctor and have limited time. No technician showed up at the scheduled time. Multiple calls to Mohr power to update on my service call. Only one person answering the phone, Gordon who stated he had placed multiple calls and texts to his supervisor to ask her to update me. Most of the day wasted trying to get service from the company that installed my system . This is not just bad customer service it’s total disregard of the customer. I have given up and called another service company. Buyer beware.

Very, very positive. Very experienced installers who were quick and efficient. The rep explained alternative system sizes (advantages and disadvantages of larger and smaller systems), peculiarities of our roof and means of addressing those, use of different inverters and the cost/benefit of each, and priced the system we bought very fairly. We've had the system up for nine months and looking back would without question do it again with Mohr.

First dealings were very good. Tech found the panel in our system that was damaged, and disconnected it getting everything back operating. He said we’d hear from them about the warranty and replacement. We didn’t. We called to learn they would submit for warranty and scheduled a time to replace with a used panel to fit our system. They didn’t. We called for that appointment. They changed the date via email without checking our availability. We called to find out the timeframe. They said it was in the email. It wasn’t. The didn’t come as scheduled. We called. They said they’d find the tech and call back. They didn’t. We called back- 90 minutes later. They said they had left a message in my husband’s cell. They hadn’t. Brittany was very apologetic as she listed at least a half dozen reasons why they couldn’t do what they said they’d do, and that they weren’t coming. UNACCEPTABLE! At $90 an hour for they’re labor, I’d say they ow us about $360 for the time wasted on waiting and hunting them down for a job at it done.

Mohr Solar installed solar pool heating panels on my roof in July, 2015. They are a Heliocol authorized dealer. That is the best solar pool heating system on the market. Mohr Solar had the best price. The installers were VERY kind, honest and friendly. They did an excellent job on the installation and finished all of the areas well. They even left me a few extra roof tiles in case I needed them down the road. They did think the job would only take 1-2 days, but it ended up taking almost 4 days. That's ok, because they made sure the job was done right and that's why I took the time to write this review. 6 months later the system is still running with no problems at all.

I spoke with Mohr Power to do our solar in our new home. They are a small, family owned business who have been around for 30 years, and really give a personal touch. Jason, the salesperson I worked with was very personable and incredibly accessible (he had me call him at 9:30pm after I got off of work one time.

They move fast, so you need to make sure that you are ready when you pull the trigger. Ultimately, my wife and I decided we didn't have enough information to move forward with solar yet, so we did not have any panels installed, but if you want a company happy to work with you, and to hit the ground running, Mohr is for you.
