Removing and remounting my solar panels for a new roof seemed daunting. Mohr Power Solar made it a snap. From Brittany in the main office to Shane in the field I saw nothing but professionalism and courtesy. They did the job quickly and helped with the purchase of extra panels at a reasonable price and in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend them.

Our initial installation worked well. We purchased a battery backup system and Mike and his company stood behind it through some changes to insure that it works well. Several years have passed with a system that gives us excellent service and is without any problems. In the future we will consider more and newer panels and additional battery reserves.
In our experience, Mohr Power is a company that one can depend on.

We love our new pool solar system! The timing of the installation had to be one of the coolest weekends this spring but we were immediately able to tell the difference in temperature. Our pool is so warm! Mohr Power Solar is a company I highly recommend. They were reliable, trustworthy and hard-working through the entire process.

Been about 5 years or more since the install havnt heard a peep from them till now asking for a review. Well my wall controller still does not work been like that since you all put it in. I did have you come out one time to reprogram it you wanted to charge me 250.00 so i declined. They pushed this program where they put a lein on your house till you pay them off called hero nothing hero about it. I dont even know if my system is still under warranty or if it still on line not very pleased with there customer service i would not use them again.

This was a good company 20 years ago when I bought my first pool solar but now it’s really bad under the new management I bought my 2nd solar. They put it on a wrong place and maybe did something wrong that caused me very bad roof leaking and lots of trouble. My roof is brand new with no leaks at all before they installed the panels. I had to call hundreds of times and agreed to pay more money to get an appointment for them to come to relocate the panels. Unfortunately they didn’t show up on the appointment day with no notification and apologies. Many days before the appointment day I left hundreds of messages for the owner to call me back but I got no reply and no notice for a missing appointment. I really feel bad and hurt about this. I can’t fix the roof because the panels are there and I have waited forever to get hold with the owner for an appointment but no one showed up. I’m stuck painfully!!! I regret that I trusted them too much to check their work soon enough. All they want just get the new customers money and will not take care of you after you pay. Very unreliable, unprofessional and not trustworthy!

I have used Mohr Power several times to repair and or correct leaks in my pool solar heating panels. They are responsive and do good work often above and beyond. The last tech even sealed a few broken roof tiles while he waiting for the system to fill so he could be sure I had no more leaks. I do highly recommend them.

So I think if you are buying a new system directly through Mohr you are going to be fine. They stand by their work...that is the catch. They stand by THEIR work.

If someone else installed your system they are unfortunately not the company to use. I have had multiple dealings with the company. I recently paid $187 for their technician to come up and look at the system to check the micro-inverters that they replaced for me under warranty. To be clear I paid for the micro-inverter install because they were not the company who did my original install. This new problem was that 2 micro-inverters they replaced now made 2 of my panels show up as one. So I setup a follow up for them to come take a look at it. They came out found they couldn't figure it out and charged me $187 for that.

I also asked about expanding my system and requested a quote but they never got it to me. I understand they were under staffed but customer responsiveness is key. You can build great trust with people by being honest and communitive.

If you are looking at these guys to fix a solar panel system I would look elsewhere.

Chose Mohr Power after talking to several other solar companies. Jason and Brittany at Mohr Power answered all my questions and were available for any questions 24/7. The ease of asking any questions as I was new to this and the quick response made the process very easy. They pulled the city permits and process was super super easy. I was told that my system would take approx 2 days for installation. I came home and was a bummed that no one came to do my install. Well to my surprise they came to my door and advised that they were here to finish the install. I did not believe the installer when he said he was here to finish the install. Well they did such a clean job that I did not notice the all the panels were already installed on the roof and they were now here to connect the system to power. Normally I would see signs of trash letting me know someone was here. Nope not Mohr Power. They did not leave any trace that they had been at my house. The install is very clean and is working great. I did recommend Mohr Power to a family member and I’m continuing to recommend them to anyone that needs solar. So far so good. Thanks Mohr Power!!!!

I was a 'solar orphan' (installer no longer providing service) and needed a repair. Jered from Mohr came out and did the diagnostic, contacted the manufacturer and arranged the RMA. Came back the next week when the new part came in with Zach for the install. Very knowledgeable about the whole system, friendly and worked quickly. Brittany at the office also really knows her stuff and had the call set up for success before they even came out.

I recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Shane was careful and quickly replaced module. He then cleaned the solar panels with care.

My experience was all positive. I knew nothing about solar. The salesman did not over promise. The installation went in a timely manner. I have had no problems with the solar panels since they went in. Even their stucco guy did a real nice job around the new electrical panel. From what I can see they waterproofed around where they went into the roof. I'm glad we went with Mohr Solar. They have been around a long time, maybe it's because they work like professionals. I wanted good quality and we got it with Mohr.

First dealt with Mohr Power to add a battery backup and additional panels to an existing system installed by a different company that wouldn't return my calls. It was a several day process but proved worthwhile since I typically now draw no power from the grid during the peak rate period in the afternoon and produce enough surplus mid-day to put some charge into an EV without drawing from the grid (keep the charge rate down to < 16A). The only negative comment I have, and partially my fault, is that I didn't call attention to the fact that I had an open beam ceiling in part of the house - make sure to let the installers know that when they show up so they position the mounting feet appropriately. Other than that they have always been responsive whenever I've had an issue (only twice) and both times it was an equipment fault, not a fault of theirs.

After spending a few months trying to find a solar company to replace my broken, SunPower inverter, I was almost ready to give up and try to DIY it. Many of the big companies either didn't respond to my online queries or would only consider it after I paid a fee for them to come out and look at the system. Brittany at Mohr Power was the only one to offer me a solution over the phone and even give email quotes for the replacement inverters. After selecting an inverter (with Brittany's help and advice), Shane came out to do a very professional install and was very patient with answering all my questions. After about 6 hours of work my system was up and running and actually working BETTER than my old inverter. If I ever need an upgrade or repair to my solar (or any electrical issues for that matter), Mohr Power is the first on my list. Awesome service!

MOHR Power Solar is an outstanding company. Our Solar was installed in 1996 and we had maintenance done in 2015. Recently our pool service said the solar was broken and after supposedly fixing the problem, Mohr Power had to come back out and really fix what the pool service broke. Outstanding company that I highly recommend.

Mohr Power Solar is family- owned company that has been in business for over 30 years. They are professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They’ve handled all my solar needs from installing my initial solar system to regularly washing my solar panels. I highly recommend them for any solar- related services. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been courteous and professional, from Brittany in the main office to Shane out in the field, it’s clear that they take pride in their work and in delivering great customer service service.

Unfortunately we had 22 solar panels installed from Sunpower, and were told that they were golf ball resistant. Not being able to get all these broken panels resolved through Sun Power, we need to get them removed as they were now creating leaks on the roof. I called around several places and received quotes, but was not happy with the results. Driving by Costco I saw their van, and was impressed with that they were family owned. I called and received and immediate that was fair and able to set up an appointment. They arrived on time and dismantled the panels and all wiring along with plugging up all the holes. Amazing service and at a fair price. I was also given a senior discount to my surprise.

Mohr Power was the only solar servicing company that was responsive when I needed to replace my faulty ABB solar inverter from now defunct Supower. Brittany would always answer my calls or respond to voice messages promptly. She was pro-active in getting us a reasonable quote for a simple solution from a 3rd party inverter vendor (FIMER). All this convinced us to go with Mohr Power instead of a bigger company in Orange Country whose sales team was intent on upselling us on larger capacity inverters and tacking on monthly remote monitoring fees we didn't need. James and Zack made short work of unmounting the old inverter, installing the new one, and patched up the remaining holes. All in all, I was pleased with Mohr's service and am glad to have a "go-to" for future solar servicing needs.
