Most unprofessional company ever. Osha violations like crazy. Sketchy employees and sub par work. If they damage something don't expect to see a dime to fix it. And the owner knows nothing of landscaping. Chat gpt could do a better job

I was in desperate need of my yard getting done and I came across this company. They came out today and cut my grass in my back yard and front. They did the most awesome job ever, I needed them and they came through for me. I’m going to use them every single time I need my yard done. I’m so happy and my entire yard is so clean.

The landscaping job they did on our front yard was amazing. We had a sloping dirt hill and they turned it into a beautiful terraced yard we can be proud of. The workers gave it their all, working thru a heatwave, and should be very proud of doing their part to beautify Van Maren Lane. Much appreciated and would use them again.

Love Zaharis Landscaping. I have been with them for several years and through a change of ownership. As good as it was back then, I think they are even better now. The guys do great work and show up when they are supposed to. They keep in mind cost and give you the best competitive price they can. Caligreen hit a home run landscaping my backyard. Everything about them was A+++ from start to finish. They created a park-like oasis with boulders, palm trees and drought resistant plants. It's beautiful! Stunning! Exactly what I wanted!

For the nuts and bolts of the project, they replaced our shoddy sprinkler/drip system and put in a new drainage system that fixed a long-standing flooding problem. From there they redesigned a gorgeous water feature that had been a cleaning nightmare for years.

Their quote was well-worth the amount of thoughtful planning and detailed work they did. They were flexible and worked collaboratively with me on the design aspects that came to mind as the project progressed. Always arriving on time and keeping in communication with me throughout, the project ended with a homeowner's dream - they cleaned up thoroughly and even power washed the hardscape in both the front and back. We absolutely love our new backyard! The process of working with Caligreens was incredible from start to finish. They gave us a fair quote and took care of the smallest details and stayed on schedule. The stone work and cuts around pipes are to the T. We have additional projects we want done and plan to use them again.

Caligreen did a fantastic landscaping work on my new construction home. True professionals and they really know what they are doing. Attention to detail and John's exemplary ability to interpret my design I drew on a paper and make it actually work is a true talent. John helped us with a very detailed estimated, breaking down to all aspects of the project. Communication was thorough and straightforward. Pricing was fair. The most commendable aspect was the timelines. They proposed a 9 day schedule at the beginning of the project and showed up on time, always right on schedule. Stellar Workmanship and very organized. They are very good at the job they commit to. We have been getting several complements on our backyard landscape. Kudos to John and his team!

Mark was very professional, easy to work with and patiently answered several questions I had regarding details and care of the trees & plants being installed. The crew was friendly and always on time. They worked hard, took pride in what they were doing and the results of their efforts showed. The cost was very reasonable and the work was outstanding. I would recommend Mark and Caligreen as the best choice for landscapers in the Sacramento region.

After a long, complicated process I ended up calling John to rebid the landscape part of my project (I had done the hardscape portion of the project with a great cement vendor I found on Yelp). He came, measured everything, he had saved the original plans, design. He gave me a COMPLETE bid, as well as advice on where to find a gazebo installer, a specific date to start, we agreed, I signed, and he did EXACTLY what he agreed to, in the time he agreed to. He also did a couple of other things that came up, reasonably priced. I now sit at nights and watch the backyard lights shine on the plants and it feels like a million bucks. I would rehire him in a minute to do another similar job (and I may/will if my other son moves here and I buy him another house or I buy another rental). They made the whole process easy, painless and saved my, $6300 and $49,000, respectfully, from my 2 other bids on the landscape portion. And their crew was quiet, respectful and efficient in performing their work. Give them a shot, like I did, you will be pleasantly surprised. I was.

I got lucky to have the company on my project. That was landscape installation on a new construction yard(front and back. Concrete was already installed).
Here is what we really liked:

1. Precise schedule- I didn't worry about any kind of delay, which is a real sign of professionalism!
2. 7.30-4:00p.m. each day they did their job, without interruptions(this point could be silly, but so many companies are running more than 1 project at a time and make you fool by all means...from my experience)
3. We've been home all the time and were able to see what and how they are doing: not a single detail escaped from their attention!
I'm considering my project "handmade" by what I saw.
4. By the finish they cleaned absolutely everything and left us happy with a neat work done!

We hired Caligreen to clean out the previous landscaping on our home and add some concrete, as well as redo the front and back yard landscaping. Mark worked with us on the general idea and implemented it without us having to draw a landscape plan. Every part of their work was impeccable, no small detail was missed and we never had to remind them about anything. We couldn't be more pleased with Caligreen Landscaping and highly recommend them!

Caligreen just finished landscaping my front, back and side yards at my house (new construction). Mark, John and his crew did excellent work, exhibiting a high level of artistry, craftsmanship and landscaping insight. Further, they were on time every day and very professional throughout the process. The job was completed exactly on time and the few change orders were accommodated and priced fairly. If this rating system went up to 10 stars, my experience and my resulting project installed by Caligreen would get all 10 stars. I have had a lot of contractors conduct work for me, and Caligreen was my best experience.

From day one that I called for an estimate of my fairly large project, John provided a detailed estimate. John also was the foreman on the job everyday for the 11 days of project implementation. We had a daily morning walk-through of the project progress and we discussed change that I wanted as the project started taking shape. He was extremely responsive to every question and comment I had (and I had alot). Also, as the foreman, he was there with his crew doing the really hard work also, while supervising the quality.

Throughout the entire experience, I continued to notice just how responsive, respectful and polite these contractors are. All unexpected items that popped up were resolved without a defensive attitude. On days that there was more work to be done, John had his brother Mark also working along side him and the crew. That is when I learned this family company has their heart in their company's product.

The crew were the same hardworking company employees throughout the entire project. Luis, Martin and Raul, conducted their work with care. They worked in hot Sacramento Valley July/August heat through the entire day, and I could hear them talking, singing and laughing among each other, working really well as a team. I can see that crew takes pride in their work as they smiled brightly when I told them how happy I am with their work.

I offered the company to offer me as a reference for any potential customer that is considering this company to do their project.

Caligreen just finished landscaping our backyard and they were amazing! Within a week of our initial call, Mark came out to provide a free estimate. Then when it came time to complete the work, Mark provided a timeline for when the job will be complete and it was completed on time! Also, him and his team did a thorough cleaning so it was like they were never here, except now we have a beautiful backyard. My husband and I are so grateful for the work Caligreen Landscaping did.

Caligreen were fantastic from start to finish! We didn’t have a clear idea for our landscaping but Mark gave us multiple plans to consider and was extremely responsive and transparent throughout the process.
