Our rental home in Rancho Palos verdes recently had major flooding issues with the recent storms; Daniel and his crew from one of a kind restoration were there almost immediately to assess the interior damage and they went to work right away with the mold/ water remediation. Daniel was super responsive the entire time; I felt sorry for the guy because he would answer the phone no matter what - I knew he was under the gun because a lot of homes in the area were being affected by the heavy rains. Front office personnel, Marisol was also quite helpful. Only caveat I would mention is make sure you understand your original bid so that if any changes are made to that bid ( ie you cancel certain line items, or decide not to have them do certain things) that the newly calculated bid is correct.

We had an overall wonderful experience with this team. After a supply line rupture led to a massive water leak in our kitchen, right before the holidays, we reached out to One of a Kind at the recommendation of our plumber. Omri was responsive, knowledgeable and helped us from the start not only to get the demo underway but also to navigate the insurance process and negotiate with our carrier. Unless you’re already an insurance pro (we were not, but we learned a lot), I cannot overemphasize the importance of that expertise. The kitchen had to be gutted and rebuilt from the bottom up - and the team was overall great to work with. Our project manager - Miki - was such a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Miki always answered our calls or got back to us quickly, offered solutions when there were unanticipated hiccups, and made sure that subcontractors did the work correctly (or he made them come back and correct it). Overall - we had the strong sense that these guys cared about us, had pride in their work, and we’re there to answer our questions and concerns. No rebuild goes perfectly - but I’d happily hire them again if anything goes wrong and definitely felt like we were in good hands.

One of a kind restoration is honest, transparent, professional, and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. unfortunately, I had to use them twice over the past 2 years and they have done a great job. In both instances, they were able to dry out the damage and prevent us from having to spend more money on restoring the hardwood floors or replacing walls. We had a great experience from start to finish with One of a Kind Restoration. An unexpected leak was discovered while getting ductwork replaced so had to find help in a hurry. One of a Kind came through for us! Marisol was very responsive throughout the whole process and Moriel explained what he would be doing on the job, as well. Omri and his team are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They do all the work in accordance with the required safety regulations and do not cut any corners. We had a job in Santa Monica that required removing a lot of drywall and insulation. The crew worked so cleanly and quickly, both in the removal of drywall and material and cleaning and remediating. Thanks to their great work, we quickly received a 100% clean air clearance test from a third party testing company. The testing company even asked who did the remediation work, because it was so clean and professional. All the floors were covered by the crew and were well protected.
