I’m a retired contractor who was referred to One of a Kind Restoration because we had some water damage from a plumbing leak. From the start I was impressed with their communication skills and expediency in providing an estimate for repair. They gave us a 3 week window for the completion of the project. Alex did a great job on the repairs, they started immediately after the initial step of cleaning and mold prevention treatment, his team worked closely with the tenants in terms of work scheduling, and were very accommodating with the tenants’ need. they also did a great job on isolating the work area so that the tenants daily activities would affected to the least as possible. Alex communicated with me well, out of his busy schedule, he always returned my messages and calls, and showed great work ethics and integrity, Even though the work took longer than anticipated to complete for various reasons, but I trusted Alex for doing a thorough and good job. Most importantly, Alex was willing to work with me when problem arises and came up with reasonable solutions, he would sent his team to make corrections when necessary, I definitely would work with him again in the future. One of a Kind was great!!!!! I’m from the Palisades fire and needed to find a company to clean up smoke damage that was very knowledgeable about mega fires. I’ve never dealt with anything like it and had to learn a lot!! They were extremely patient and really spent a lot of time with me answering a million questions. They were also very sympathetic and supportive in a time of extreme need. I couldn’t recommend them any more!!! They really know their stuff. I was very worried in the beginning about being able to find a reliable company that I could trust to do the clean up properly. But I got lucky and found them thankfully!!!

After a pipe burst in our crawl space and soaked through to the hardwood floors, they documented everything and helped us file properly. The water restoration work was excellent, but the guidance was just as valuable.
