We just had our whole house renovation (from new windows to wood floor, new carpet, crown moldings all new baseboard, kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Removing some structure walls to open kitchen space to creating a new shower in the powder room bath and filling in the step down living room). This review is an over 3 months late. We wanted to experience the live in it and use the cabinets and drawers to make sure that everything is in good shape before we provide this review. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are beautiful and of excellent high quality. The wood floor is absolutely gorgeous and many compliments. To be more specific, we got complements of everything in the house from the new windows, the new carpet, word floor, bath and kitchen. David has a good heart, a great guy that runs the show (so to speak) and honest family business. I appreciate he told us how much it will cost on certain things and to be realistic and not to spend more. David was able to figures different ways to save us some money. He was able to send someone back to our house to do some touch up’s that we noticed 2 months later. Of course there are some bumps on the way during the renovation but with this massive renovation we think it was not too bad and very happy we chose Landmark energy upgrades. The remodeling could be little bit more organize at times but we are not in this business so hard for us to say. All the guys came are so nice and works very hard. Big start of appreciation we want to give to David & Mike (electrician), Patricia and Johan (the Plummer), and so many people to thank them. Sorry if we forgot or couldn't remember everyone. We couldn't believe all the work and details that went into the house. We are very happy with our new beautiful home. We definitely get a big smile every morning when we walk down to our new kitchen to make even coffee or food. Thank You David and Landmark energy upgrades!!!

It was a while since we got our suspensions about the monthly utilities bills and we search for a company that can help us with this task. We spoke to several companies and most of them either didn't come on time or even canceled the meetings. Charlie from landmark spoke to us over the phone and he wanted to get from us the most information about what are we trying to get and what is the current problem. We scheduled a meeting with him and he came over and went over the monthly utilities bills. Than he checked the house and looked around to see if there is something that caught his attention as a problem that can be fixed. After that, he scheduled with us a day for the inspection and he explained to us how they work and how is the inspection should be. After his inspection that was made by his team of workers, he came back and provided us with the report and the results of the inspection. He went with us line by line and explained us the recommendations that we take care of. We are happy with this kind of service and we did hire them to fix the issues that they find and we most likely will hire them to install solar system at the house.

Update!!
After writing the last review, Ezra reached out to me and sent someone to fix the leak. This time it seemed that they did more than just slap some seal on the problem. The guy that came out this time was friendly and really gave some time and effort into addressing the problem. I added a couple of stars for rectifying the situation.

Ezra and Charles are very friendly and personable. That is, when they want to take your money. What good is a 12-year warranty if you start ignoring your customers at 2 years. I needed my HVAC replaced. Because the HVAC sits on my roof, I decided to redo the roof too. Ezra and Charles came out and were really friendly so I immediately had a good impression of them. Even though it would've been cheaper to go with a roofer and a separate HVAC company, I decided to go with Landmark Construction Crew, aka Landmark Energy Upgrades. I figured it would be a more seamless process for one company to do both. I got this done in December of 2016. The thing with a roof is that you don't know if it's a good job or not until it rains so I waited to write a review. Around January 2018 ( a little over a year later ) we got some much needed rain but unfortunately, I had a leak coming from one of my vents. I emailed Ezra and he sent out a roofer. The roofer came, looked at the vent, jumped up on the roof for ten minutes and said he was done. Months later, it rained again, it leaked again, I emailed Ezra again. I decided to take a closer look at the vent and noticed that there was sunlight in the duct work. I figured, sunlight equals gap somewhere. When the roofer came, I told him and he said it's nothing, probably just a reflection, without even taking a look. Then the roofer tells me that the next time there is a leak, I need to call the HVAC guy because it's not a roof problem. I couldn't believe it so I told him that HIS company IS the HVAC guy!! I used one company to do the roof and the HVAC so there is NOBODY else to blame. So, he jumps back on the roof and was done and gone in 10 minutes. About few months go by and the rain is back and so is my leak. It's now 2019 so it rained a lot this year. Good for California, bad for me. So, I emailed Ezra again. After a few weeks, no reply. So, I email him again with pictures, a few more weeks go by and no reply. So, I call him and he picked up the phone. He sounded surprised to hear from me (probably didn't recognize my phone number) and I start telling him about the leak. He said he didn't get my emails but just text him my address and he'll send somebody. A couple of weeks goes by and nothing. So, I text him again and after weeks and weeks of waiting, no reply. I've emailed, called, and texted so, at this point, it's very obvious he's avoiding me. If you are looking for a friendly company that is willing to take your hard-earned cash then Landmark is for you. But if you're looking for a company that is accountable for their work then look elsewhere. I know I am.

My wife and I were in the process of renovating a loft space which the previous tenants had done a horrific job caring for. The space is very large (around 2500 sq ft) and has an industrial vibe, making it less than straightforward to paint: there are 10' ceilings that are not flat or uniformly distributed. I reached out to about 6 painters. From the moment Charlie stepped into the apartment, the distinction between him and the others was palpable. The other painters that I was getting estimates from focused on trying to sell me on what a good job they would do, Charlie focused first on thoroughly understanding the job, and what we were hoping to achieve with the space. He took detailed measurements before providing any estimates (which I was happy to see; after reading stories about others who had given deposits to lesser painters, only to see hidden charges emerge down the line, I wanted to ensure the estimates I received would be inclusive and accurate). After outlining the job to Charlie, and hearing his plan of attack, which included a detailed strategy to eliminate oil stains that had seeped through the floor above us, Charlie came back with his quote. As this job was large, the most efficient way to paint the space would be to tape the floors off and spray everything. Although his quote was a little bit higher than some of the other painters I spoke with (some of which were impossibly low and gave me a knot in my stomach anticipating the BS these guys were sure to pull down the line had they gotten the job) I chose Charlie and am very happy I did. No job is straightforward, but I didn't pay a penny over what we agreed upon and, more than that, Charlie was focusing on making sure the job was
a) Done perfectly and without any problem.
B) Completed the work as he said he will.
I was more impressed when Charlie came back a couple days later with one of his guys to put an additional coat on one section of wall for no additional charge. The space is now beautiful and I attribute that in large part to the job Charlie and his team did. I would use Charlie from Landmark energy upgrades again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend his services to anyone looking for a painter in my area!

We had a problem in the attic that required us to replace the insulation. We contacted several companies and we received estimates as well. Landmark energy upgrades provided us with the most solid estimate from all the other companies that we talked and met with. The work was scheduled the same week by the dispatch of the company (Odelia). She was able to send to us 3 workers in order to complete the work fast and at the same amount. All the workers that worked at the house were polite and professional (Charlie, Jose & Mike). We will definitely use them in the future for any other work we might have.

I'm writing this review as I sit under my brand new Velux solar skylight with the new founded relief of no leaks, yay! (all while I see rain pouring down outside) After purchasing our "fixer-upper" mid-century ranch home, we had the need for a new roof. This is where Landmark Energy Upgrades came in. Ron came out to give us a quote for the roof. He was by far the most honest, knowledgeable and responsive roofer we contacted.

Now for the job. In addition to a new roof, we also had Landmark remove the old swamp cooler system from the roof which left a gaping hole on part of the roof. That's where Landmark were able to install the new beautiful solar skylight. So in all, our job included insulating under the roof, a new skylight, a build out of the space where the old HVAC was, and replacing the obscene amount of dry rot damaged wood in the existing roof. Landmark energy upgrades executed our job with precision, skill and grace. My only regret is that I waited as long as I did to hire him. Thank you Ron on a job well done, I will definitely call you back for other remodeling projects we have planned and recommend Landmark Energy Upgrades to my friends.⁠⁠⁠⁠

Landmark Energy upgrades removed my old water heater and installed a tankless system. The work was handled by David and his 2 people. At first, We contacted them to come over and suggest us what can we do in order to reduce the monthly bills by converting and replacing things in the house that will save the energy and will us making our house to a more energy efficient place.
David was able to provide us with many ideas and suggestions and one of them was to remove the water heater. The new system that he recommended us was a tankless system that will produce hot water only when we use the water at the house. This will not only save us money on gas, but also will save money by using less water.
The work that they did took 3 days and we are very happy with the results of the work that they did.

It's very impossible to write and say so many good things about Ezra's work and how he did the remodeling for me. Before I start, I must state that I'm a single mother that was looking for any contractor that will be able to do a room addition and mostly, to be honest and reliable person because my knowledge and experience with construction is slim to none. Before I hired anyone, I interviewed about 5 other contractors before getting a hold with Landmark energy upgrades (Ezra), all the other contractors, provided me with pretty much the same style of estimate with nonsense answers to my questions and concerns.
From my meetings with them and reading the estimate, I felt that I had no idea what’s or ever about what they were attentions to do or more than that, what they really considered as the final cost. Ezra, on the other hand, provided me with a detailed estimate that included:
- Estimated cost of the entire project;
- A detailed projected weekly of the work schedule (for example: week 1 & 2 - foundation and framing; week 3 & 4 - rough and electrical, HVAC and roofing completed, etc.);
- Additions and options of items that I can add and how much will they add to the total price;
- Payment schedule and to whom I should write the checks for.
The workers that were assigned to the remodeling at my house were efficient, professional, friendly and easy to talk to. They made sure to clean up the work site every day. Ezra and his office, made sure to inform me about anything that I needed to know especially when the city inspector supposed to come over and what were the results of the inspection. Ezra was also very polite and easy to work or deal with. I never had the feeling he was trying to push, pressure or squeeze more money out of me, in fact, during the whole remodeling, he was just the opposite. I will definitely use Ezra again, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

We want to share this review for our experience with Landmark Energy upgrades and the people that worked at our house for replacing some windows with new ones. The work was done by 3 people that came over each day to the house and worked till it was completed. The new windows were ordered the same day we hired Cielo and they arrived after 3 days. David the worker is very professional and he know exactly what to do. We will hire this company in the future and we will recommend them to our friends in case they need a contractor for their projects.

We wanted to give an open space for the house. We were looking for a contractor that can come over, and give us an estimate for remove the old Roof and to install a new one that will be energy efficient. Charlie from Landmark energy upgrades came over and after he checked the roof, he was able to gave us an estimate for it which was a pretty fair one. Part of it was to also remove all the old gutters and to replace them with new ones including new drains and leaves protectors. Charlie and his workers, Were able to do all of that and we are happy with the service that we got. Charlie is very down to earth person that know his work and he is a good communicator. He was able to answer all of our questions and the results talk by themselves.

I recently used Landmark Energy Upgrades drafting and construction for an emergency leak on the roof we had at my parents house. They had asked me to find a construction company that would be able to accommodate last minute! We had an estimate with Ezra, he came out as soon as possible. My parents were pretty nervous since it started raining AGAIN so we needed to fix it fast! Ezra was professional he told us the exact amount we would pay and he made sure they would start immediately!! The guys all worked very careful and efficient. They got the job done at the expected time and the roof looks amazing. Thank you guys!

Our roof had several leaky spots thoughout the house and even some shingles flew off. We checked around, got a few estimates, talked to few referrals, but none of them felt right nor capable of handling it since our roof pretty steep. Landmark Energy Upgrades had the best reviews online and based on the work that they did for me, I can understand why. From the first phone call and conversation with Jessica to the final completion working with Ezra and his crew of people, everyone was so helpful and patient. Ezra always answered all my phone calls... always. The process was very fast, they had my whole roof done in 4 days. That includes removing the old riding down to the bare wood and redoing the whole thing. Landmark really made a stressful situation feel like a super easy thing. The area around the house was swept clean daily and they even went around with a big magnet that picked up all the nails and stuff too.

MORE THAN DUCTS--GREAT SERVICE. My heater wasn't working in some rooms and my dryer wasn't drying. The dryer was spinning and putting out hot air, but the clothes were still wet. So it was pretty clear it was the exhaust. I used my online skills in order to find someone reliable for that task. I found Landmark Energy Upgrades and I sent them an email, as well as to other companies. Landmark was the first to reply (within minutes and that was just the start of the great service).
When Ezra came, he did a full inspection of or our home and figured out why the heater was stronger in some rooms and non-existing in others. When he gave us their price, it was also broken down and detailed for each part of the work.
So we hired Landmark and they scheduled work to start in just a matter of days. In the morning, Ezra's crew arrived to my house professional, prepared & cheerful. His crew got right to work replacing our A.C. Ducts and dryer exhaust. They also replaced the filters for the AC/heater even though that was not included in the price (I thought that was very nice of them). They left the place actually cleaner then it was when they arrived and could not have been more professional or pleasant. Now my heater works great everywhere and my.clothes are finally dry. I highly recommend Landmark!

These guys from Landmark Energy Upgrades are amazing!!! I needed to replace some fascia boards along with some shingle repairs. Abraham came out the day after I called to walk the job with me. He was sincere, honest and knew what he was talking about. This guy knows more about roofing than anyone I've ever encountered. He gave me a fair price for the work and we agreed to get started. When the crew showed up they were friendly and efficient. They did a great job! A couple days later I realized that there was one more thing that I wanted to have done. I recently hired Room Addition Contractors North Hollywood to upgrade my home's exterior siding as part of a remodeling project. Leonard from the team took extra time to go over my architectural plans and carefully explained how my old roof and gutters had led to damage on my existing T 111 siding. Before moving forward, they suggested I address those roof and gutter problems to avoid future issues with the new siding.
