We are very well satisfied with the level of knowledge, professionalism and courtesy offered us by all the employees connected to Green Solar Technologies, including any sub-contractors. The only draw back we've had is the amount of time it is taking for our energy provider to inspect the installation. We have received information for requiring payment from the loan office, but we are still unable to use the service. Payment should not be expected until ALL inspections are complete, and the unit is up and running. As is, we'll have two bills to pay now. Not at all happy about that!!!!

This is a great company. From start to finish, the explanation, estimate, and job completion was perfect.  No surprises, no lies or exaggeration, and on time arrival every day the crew were here.  No mess was left.  The panels are put up exactly in the center of my metal roof and lined up is a perfectly symmetrical rectangle.  It is a work of art.  Functionality is super.  Cant wait for my first electric bill.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

We live on an island in a hurricane zone so were initially concerned about wind and corrosion. With discussion and engineered diagrams and approval from the local building inspectors we went forward with the project.
Great process from start to finish, good communication with sales and installation staff.
Make sure your grid energy supplier accepts reverse power as ours (CPL) did not. So they got a month or two of free energy from our house.
Green solar helped to find a supplier that was happy to accept our switch (Green mountain Energy)
We had an inverter malfunction, which was replaced via warranty, it took a few weeks due to back order but Green Solar helped to speed up the process and keep me informed.
Although a big capital acquisition I am very happy with the whole process and our energy savings so far, but its not just about a smaller electric bill, trying to do a small part for the future of the planet for my daughters.
Highly recommend this group for your installation.

Excellent. System works just like they said it would. Construction went well and we were kept informed. We had only one issue with the electrical subcontractor and Jim, our construction project supervisor took care of that. Very pleased with the system and have already recommended Green Solar to others.

Once the installation approached, things moved along very nicely and swiftly. The issue I had was primarily in the weeks and months ahead of the instillation. It just seemed to drag on and on, plus there were some oversights as to whose contract was being worked etc. I realize that it is difficult working with the County for permits, etc. but I was not certain that the time frame I was lead to expect was actually being implemented.
I did, however, truly appreciate accessibility of the project manager, planner, finance, etc. If I called them, they quickly responded, either on the spot, or shortly afterwards. I was also given periodic updates and notified of changes. The price was also a lot lower than some of their competitors...3 of which I contacted, and one that I actually signed their contract, but after checking on Green Solar, I was able to cancel the deal within the 3 day rule. The Green Solar sales reps appeared to be very honest and trusting and did not try to sneak in some expensive surprises. What they advertised, is what I got. Lastly, I was VERY impressed with the final sequence of events...the installation, the speed and professionalism demonstrated, the willingness to answer any of my questions, their explanation about how the system works, and their follow-up. They also contacted SMUD for me, and they also offer a hefty referral fee.

Green Solar Technologies is an awesome company. The experience of installing solar was pleasant from beginning to end. The entire company from the salesperson to the installer were all friendly and willing to help solve any issues that arose. When I had questions, someone always called me back promptly to provide answers. Everyone was professional and yet human enough to care and show concern. I would highly recommend their product and services.

Green Solar was knowledgeable and professional. From sales and financial consulting, through material delivery and project supervision, a specific consultant was available each step of the process. Initially, I was slightly concerned to learn the "local" installers were 7 hours away, but I couldn't have been more pleased with the friendly and knowledgeable installation crew, and the care and respect they showed me and my property. I can't wait to have the system turned on and begin offsetting my electric bill.

When I got this started I had trouble getting answers from the sales person, the job supervisor & the contractor. They each would say "get ahold of ...."
It took some time, but I got it worked out. The installation was fast & clean. I am very happy with my $5.00--6.00 PG&E bill each month. I had trouble getting signed into the monitoring site. For 12 months I tried. I finally got in touch with Jayleen Brooks, Customer Service & she fixed it right away. If you stay on top of them Green Solar Tech. will give you a great product.

I was simply trying to get a quote for purchasing solar panel system for my house. I pay for the electric bill and would be paying for the solar panels, but they refuse to quote me for the project because the electric bill is in my Dad's name, And he's not available to get on the call. Apparently this is too much of a crazy situation for them to handle and they don't care about serving the person who is purchasing the panels.

Anyways, maybe I just got stuck with a bad rep or the rep has a sad manager or something. Not trying to point fingers just interested in purchasing a solar system.

With an office in North Hollywood, my assumption is they just don't care about my business when they saw my address is not in Beverly hills or something more profitable for them. Or maybe my mistake was mentioning that I was trying to be responsible and get a second quote. I would highly recommend getting an additional quote if you're in the market. I hope this helps somebody. That's the only reason I wrote a review. Have a great day!

Working with Jesse Stevenson, our project manager, made our experience very easy from beginning to end. He kept us informed from the day the inspector was coming to make sure the project was possible to the day the inspector came to make sure the project was completed correctly. Communication was provided in a friendly, patient manner & Jesse was always accessible when we had questions. We are very pleased with completed project & would highly recommend Green Solar Technologies without reservation.

The representative who put us in touch with Jesse Stevenson, Harry Gore, was equally excellent & coordinated the whole project very professionally & took the time needed to complete all the necessary pieces. This is a very well run organization in all aspects.

Hi, We had Green Solar Technologies install solar panel on our roof of house and garage last summer(2018). They work very hard to get things right the first time. They are very professional and competitive on price. We have 2 Tesla’s and feel we are do our part to go green. Would not hesitate to use this company again!

My experience with Green Technologies was trouble free. Everything that I was promised has come to pass. The financing was approved as promised. The installation was completed early and my solar generation system has been inspected and approved. Hamilton Electric placed the system in parallel operation with with their system seven days prior to the promised date.
I have and will continue telling my friends and neighbors about my system and recommending that they contact Green Technologies about a similar system.

This company is awesome! The products are top quality with an excellent warranty.
They handled everything from start to finish making this an easy upgrade to my home. Great customer service and support.

Excellent throughout the process. However, once the job was completed and they got paid, I never heard from them again. Left messages but no return calls. Good customer service extends past the the initial sale which this company fails to have. This company proved to me that there excellent customer service ends once the check has been cut. It’s too bad because I was really gonna advertise for them to all my friends and family. But they have failed to follow through so I have a change of heart. 4 stars for quality and good professional installation with good customer service through the “initial” process. 1 star for continued customer service.

If I could give this company a zero star rating I would. If you are looking for reliable, professional, and knowledgeable solar company-this is not it. They do not install your panels correctly which cause breakage and do not properly align them for optimal efficiency. We have been trying to reach someone for months and they will not respond to any correspondences. Not even customer service will return our phone call. Matt, the project manager, is exceptionally rude and seems to lack education in his field of choice. They do not even respond to BBB complaints. BEWARE!

This has been a nightmare dealing with this company. We’ve have called every day with the problem that the system is simply not working. When we first received this system it worked for only a few month, then the problems started Inverter not working, electric bills still very high and no help from this company. I have asked to speak to someone who can actually do something with no avail. Either their not in, or I’ll have them call you back, or “ I’m so sorry this is happening to you, I personally will look in to this and get back to you”, with no action ever happening. Now the ceiling in one of my bedrooms have fallen due to water damage and per adjuster, pictures showed water coming from the screws from the Solar Panels so not covered by our insurance. And no answer from the Green Solar Technologies after numerous phone calls. So people please if you want to go solar, deal with your local companies that will be able to take your concerns seriously. Once this company gets your money, they no longer will deal with you! It’s been an agonizing lesson and a very expensive one. I realize this company is not one to honor their contract. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! I will be making my disapproval of this company public. It’s the only way I can protect others from making the same mistake! I think everyone her should get together and file a lawsuit against this company for deceptive practices.

If you are looking to install Solar System please do not use this company. In the beginning they contact you non stop and offer you everything they can to prove why you should pick them only to find out that they like deceiving people. They withhold full information and go with the plan convenient for their company. They took from us $29k paid in full only to find out that it doesn’t cover a single electric bill! Over and over we explained what we were looking for with promise that they would deliver. So many countless conversations we had over and over again with no actual resolution. The last manager we talked to claims that she was the last resort and no one is higher than her. Then she expects us to stay calm knowing they took so much money with no resolution and saying good luck to you with our legal dept. many of our customers who end up going that route loose. I will continue to research and find out who is over her and continue to let everyone I know of how awful this company is and hope that no one else ends up feeling like this.

My experience with Green Solar was super! My project manager was very informative about the whole process. He went over the layout of the panels,the power output,the permit process,the install time frame and set up all of the financing details for me. My installer called me and set up a time at my convenience. They showed up on time and did the install in a efficient and friendly way. I was totally happy with the aesthetics of the install and really impressed with efficiency of the whole process.

So far not good. Signed the contract in December, and after storing the solar panels in my garage for over 3 months, it was finally installed In late March. They said the delay had to do with my HOA, but they did I not even start the HOA paperwork until the middle of February. It should have been started in December. Since the beginning, we have had 1 solar panels out of the 27 that was very under producing, and it took over 6 months of complaining before someone finally came out to replace it. It was not until I threaten to call a lawyer that they finally reacted. Also all the 27 solar panels are not producing as much as they were in the first few months, so I know there is more issues with the solar panels. We already spent so much money having them installed, I don’t want to spend any more money having someone else figure out if there is also any wiring/electric issues. We went from not paying anything to Edison in the first 3 months, to now having to paying during (what is supposed to be) peak production summer months. And with 27 panels, we estimated that ever month we were supposed to receive a credit. Also the layout (where the panels are supposed to sit on the roof) that was approved by the city is not the same layout that is actually on my roof.

I was disappointed with the how my transaction occurred when I purchased my whole house solar system in 2019, but we got a great product and have been happy up to this point.

One of my inverters has been faulty and not producing, I was able to reach someone in late September after several attempts to include them missing the scheduled phone call. We ran a system check and power cycle, I responded with the information and photos requested to order a warranty replacement.

I understand equipment failures, and this does not bother me but the follow up has been nothing. I have called and left messages, emailed the service tech. and customer service to no avail. The couple of times I get customer service live they have excuses and schedule follow up calls where I do not receive calls back. Simply said they are not following through with their warranty post sale, and if this is a selling point to you as it was to me I suggest looking for another vendor.

They are good with you when you are in the installation process but once they have your money they stop answering . One can never get in contact with their customer service and when you do they tell you to contact someone else that never returns your emails or calls. We were promised 5 free cleanings on 2018 when we got our system installed and when we try to redeem those promises nobody knows anything about it. They really like to play with people.
