Ryan came out and incorrectly diagnosed the problem. He was testing various switches based on an error code. The problem, however, turned out to be a faulty flame sensor that needed to be replaced.

We really appreciated the time that Jeffrey spent servicing & evaluating our air conditioning & heating system. He was friendly, thorough, patient and exceeded our expectations. He made some suggestions, for which we are grateful, on how we can improve & extend the life of our 13 year old unit. We look forward to continuing to work with So Cal Climate Control in the future. Thank you for providing exceptional service.

My overall experience with So Cal Climate was great. We encountered many roadblocks during the installation of my new furnace…none however the fault of So Cal Climate. Problems with permitting were relentless to say the least. So Cal Climate used all of their resources to get the job finalized. I highly recommend this company and thank the staff for all of their knowledge and expertise.

They were nothing short of amazing. We had one heck of a difficult job but they made it happen. These folks went out of their way to make our COMPLETE ac replacement happen on time before our new baby got here and I’ll never forget it. The guys were wonderful and very kind and respectful when they were here. I truly couldn’t reccomend them more. It’s never fun having a bunch of work done on your house, but Dave, Johnny, Ty, and the boys really made it easy on us. 10/10 company.

Called out SoCal Climate Control to give us an estimate on a new heat pump system. Jason was by far the most knowledgeable technician of all the companies we had out. He explained everything in a technical way that made scene. I highly recommend this company!

The whole So Cal Climate team of Dave, Susie, Aris and Franco has been professional, smart, kind, considerate and efficient. We asked that they mask up inside and they did consistently. They all have taken my questions seriously and answered very specifically. That helped so much. Dave gave a detailed outline of what to expect which was very accurate. The process is so fascinating, all that is involved. Aris gave a very detailed explanation how to use the system. Susie was right there day and night answering my inquiries with cheerful friendliness and helpfulness. Aris and Franco were a great team here, even our dog Blythe liked them so much she followed them around! We are so happy now enjoying coolest summer ever. Attached is doggy Blythe on her new fave blanky their drop cloth.

Please don’t use this company, you will deeply regret it. After they did the install, I have a loud metallic clank in my attic, which was never there before.
Please read all of their reviews. The customer service was horrible and even the owner, Mike, agreed they need to do better, I have it in a email.
Please look them up on the “CA Contractors State Licensing Board” under “Complaint Violation Disclosure”. They shouldn’t be in business anymore with all the trouble they’ve been in with the state of CA.
Now, they’re even sending stuff to my work to try and intimidate me, lol. This won’t work, I have a great attorney and deep pockets.

Update: Mike is lying about the job being completed, it’s not. Mike sent an apology to me for the way him and his staff treated me so horribly. But, he never sent an apology to my workplace, where he was trying to harass and embarrass me. Mike filed an immediate Mechanics lien against me, so what, but he crossed the line sending copies to my workplace! Please see current BBB Complaints page:

I recently had an excellent experience with SoCal Climate Change when they came out to inspect an issue with the turbine on my roof. From the start to finish their service was professional, timely and thorough. The technician Nick arrived promptly at the schedule time and took the time to explain everything in detail. He thoroughly inspected the turbine diagnosing the problem quickly while also ensuring there were no additional issues with the system. What stood out the most was the technician experience and honesty. Rather than pushing for Unnecessary repairs he provided a practical and affordable solution to fix the turbine issue. I appreciate the transparency and felt confident in the quality of the work. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from SoCal Climate Change. If you're looking for a reliable knowledgeable and trustworthy Professionals for AC and heating service I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend SoCal Climate. Ryan Foley was our main contact person and he was incredibly knowledgeable about all the complexities of HVAC and totally service oriented. The team leader that came out to do the work (Jose) was nice, hardworking and clearly experienced, and even their administrator who handles billing and scheduling details (Susie) was sweet, responsive and helpful. Basically everyone we dealt with at all levels of this company were great. It was an excellent experience from start to finish.

Susie and Mike Molloy are an excellent team and ensured my new complicated HVAC installation was installed without a hitch! I’m enjoying my cool interior in these hot days!

So our AC went out and I panicked since the weeks coming up were going to be HOT and we live in a condo with OLD windows and we have a baby upstairs. Socal climate control took away ALL my stress. Tammy gave us suggestions on how to stay cool while she took care of the rest, we made it through the heat and got our AC replaced! I won't trust anyone else with our HVAC needs, thank you! 🥹🥹 And the baby thanks you too!!!

Really good customer service. Good communication in advance to let me know when to expect the service tech, Nick. Nick was really friendly and seemed experienced and knowledgeable. He ended up having to do more problem solving on my heating system than anticipated but he was very patient with it and wanted to make sure things worked properly before he left. I’d definitely use this company again.

Our A/C system recently went down due to a blower motor and capacitor issue. The technician came out and initially quoted us $2,600 for parts and labor. After some back-and-forth and clarification on what was actually included, he reduced the total to $1,350.

After doing my own research, I found the parts cost less than $300, and the repair took less than an hour to complete. That means I was charged over $1,000 for labor, which feels excessive and unjustified.

I live in a gated community in Calabasas, and I strongly believe the original price was inflated because of the location of my home. It’s incredibly disappointing to feel taken advantage of based on where you live.

When I called customer service to discuss the situation, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from Suzy. She was dismissive, impolite, and made no effort to resolve the issue or even listen—completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with repeated customers. I gave their contact to couple of my neighbors but will let them know to not use this company.

To be fair, the technician himself was excellent—polite, professional, and clearly skilled at his job. I have no complaints about him at all.

But due to the unrealistic pricing, the poor customer service, and the feeling that they judged my bill based on my zip code, I would absolutely not recommend this company—especially to my neighbors in the Calabasas community. I’ll be sharing my experience so others don’t end up in the same situation.

SoCal Climate Control definitely one of the better AC companies! Fernando’s team, Tony sale representative, and Mike the GM have been professional and responsive. I appreciate the transparency and upgrading our Kenmore to a Trane System. I can’t wait to use it and update this review later to mention the great things about it!

I had a great consultation with Ryan. He was super knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He gave me a good understanding of how my system worked and what might be worth improving. There was no pressure and we talked about a range of options. I would recommend SoCal Climate Control for anyone in need of a repair or thinking about upgrading their system.

We recently changed out our old duct work and increased the size of our register- our Field Supervisor- Jeffrey LeMoine, was excellent to work with- very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the process- job was projected to be 3-4 days- all completed in 1 day! The installation crew was professional, on time and completely cleaned our house when finished- I would not hesitate recommending Jeffery his staff and SoCal to anyone needing HVAC service!
