David and Daniel are the best! Came in and assessed our plumbing trouble quickly, gave us a fair price and got to work. Left the job site cleaner than it was. We already have more plumbing projects for them to do.

David fixed my leaking drain under the kitchen sink, replaced my water filter and replaced a line from the filter. He is so meticulous, professional and knowledgable. He knows what he is doing and explained everything to me. He checked everything under the sink and noticed that my disposal wasn't locked, fixed that so vibration is reduced. He didn't charge me for that. He was on time and cleaned up. He let me know what the cost would be before starting the job. Dave is a licensed plumber not a technician working under another plumber's license. His price is fair and reasonable and is a very pleasant person. I am happy that I now have a reliable honest plumber who knows what he is doing.

I needed help once more! I had a back up in my sewer line. David and his son Daniel came to my rescue. The work he did was exceptional. We decided I needed another clean out so the snaking could reach my whole line. I had recurring backups over the years and had used other plumbing companies for this problem. Dave found a good place to put the clean out wiithout breaking up my patio or walks. He has the latest electronic detection equipment to find the line. now The work was hard as there was a lot of digging to get to the line, but Dave and Dan got the job done. Again, they are both very pleasant and professional. Dave treated the line with a chemical so the tree hair roots will not cause a problem in the line. The other companies never offered to do that ensuring future backups. It was a relief to be able to call on Dave and have a reliable sewer line.

Being a licensed contractor myself, there is a certain expectation when hiring a contractor to do work. David goes above and beyond those expectations. His knowledge and response time is fantastic. He is very reasonably priced. I have been using him for years and highly recommend him!

David is an expert with tankless water heaters. One of my heaters is from 2004, and his maintenance and repairs have helped me from having to replace it several times. Other plumbers would have given up and just told me to replace the unit, but David was able to economically repair it. David is always responsive and has always had the right parts on hand to get us quickly back up and running. He has also been great with other plumbing needs, including regulator replacements and indoor fixture issues. It's great that David's son is now in the business, so he can also provide the same expert service in the future.

Dave and his son did a killer job fixing my pipes after the water main broke. They were quick to respond and most importantly very professional and honest! Instead of telling me I have to replace the entire pipe, he was able to fix the leakage without charging me work that is not necessary. 10000% recommended.

He arrived with an assistant and was friendly, professional, clean, and courteous. He immediately evaluated the problem and quickly worked with a snake equipment to address and fix the problem. They cleaned up and made all necessary checks to ensure the problem was gone. I received an invoice and completed the payment. They finished within a hour, were nice, and polite with smiles by all at their departure. I was grateful and thankful for their fast, efficient, affordable, and professional service. David and his son performed an excellent job. They carefully analyzed the project scope and found creative ways to minimize disruptions to the hardscaped brick walkway and landscaping. He also noticed that an earthquake shutoff valve was missing and so installed one. He arranged to pull all the needed permits with the city which was great. David is very easy to work with, and a true professional. Highly recommend.

David and his son did a great job installing a new water heater and expansion tank. With the high pressure release valve relocated to the top, the existing exit was cleanly and effectively rerouted. The next day, I heard some knocking from the expansion tank and immediately reached out to David. Because I am fairly handy, he was able to help me troubleshoot over the phone to try a few things, and I learned a lot as result. My home has a history of a failing pressure reducing valve, so replacing that did solve my issue. Note: Thanks to David, I learned the pressure reducing valve can be rebuilt with a kit. It had nothing to do with the water heater installation. I highly recommend Whyte Plumbing. David has many years of experience, a strong knowledge of building codes, and is easy to talk to when you have a question.

I got Whyte Plumbing from the Takagi website. I wanted to replace my old tank water heater with a Takagi Tankless. David understood exactly what I wanted and worked 1 and 1/2 days to get it installed. David got the Takagi system I wanted and did an excellent installation. Took out behemoth old heater tank and rerouted gas lines, exhaust, and water lines to make the installation practical, safe, and so professional. All my questions were answered and price was very fair. Would recommend David Whyte and Whyte Plumbing if you are thinking about upgrading to a new Tankless water heating system.

David and Dan’s work was outstanding, and so are their work ethics. Even before we set a date for the job — changing the water temperature control in our shower — they spent time on helping me find and order the correct parts. While they were here, they were diligent in keeping us informed of their findings, and they generously provided advice on a previous installation that was not up to code. Their pricing is fair. I trust them completely and cannot recommend them highly enough for any plumbing job.

Knowledgeable, fast, clean, friendly, efficient this father and son team work cohesively and produce results.
They were called on to take care of Hot water leak under my home foundation.
They discover the leak fast, temporary cap the hot water line which allowed us to have water till the next day. The next day was the jackhammer time, my plumbing problem was resolved within 24 hours Wow :) This should be a record, I nominate this team for the plumber of the year.

Really good plumber and a straight shooter. I hired Dave to add some pressure regulators, a pressure relief valve, and descale our tankless. When he came over for the original quote he was great about explaining everything so that it was easy to understand. He followed up with a quote and we hired him for the job. When he and his son came over to do the work, both of them got right on it and spent several hours working on a pretty hot day. Even with the heat, they seemed to be having fun out there which was good to see. The work looks great and functions nicely. The pricing was very reasonable. I definitely recommend Dave and his son!

David & his son were prompt, professional, courteous, and transparent. I have an older GROHE shower system which required creativity and decades of know-how to fix. David made a new shower cartridge model work perfectly with an older system. I have no doubt most plumbers would've given-up ... but not David. Will definitely be using his services again. A+

Family owned business, David & Daniel were awesome. We had a hot water pipe leak in our slab which turned out to be a nightmare. Our slab was not up to code, concrete was more than 4 inches, more like 9-12 inches, still couldn’t get to the pipe. Instead of tearing up our flooring even more, he suggested we reroute the hot water line through our attic. We had them do both lines just so we wouldn’t have to worry about the cold water line in future. It was a big job, but they handled it and completed everything in 2 1/2 days. We are very happy with the results. Pricing was fair. I think others would have charged a lot more. We’ve been looking for a good, knowledgeable, honest plumber in the sfv, and we finally found them. Very honest and knows his stuff. Definitely will use them again. Thank you David & Daniel!!
