Showed up on time, polite service. I warned them I had roots that intruded into the sewer line down by the street, 80 feet from the clean out. They guy tried and couldn't get through it. I had it happen 4 years prior and let him know, you're cutting through roots and it will take a few passes. I understand the pipe there obviously has cracked open to allow the roots to pass through. After about 30 minutes, he gave up, called his superior. Who then came out, ran a camera. Said "We can't see what it is, but you need to replace your entire sewer line". "We could fix just that spot, but it won't last". I said I knew it needed to be replaced, but for now, just punch through it. I just spent $35,000 on surgery and another $15,000 on another emergency and couldn't afford another hit this week.

I asked for a quote for the work they indicated was mandatory and asked them to continue with the snake to clear out the existing roots. They refused to try the snake any longer. 45 minute later came back with a quote for $7,200 just to fix the one spot and $12,800 to replace the sewer line to the street. In shock, I said let me think on it. I pleaded with them to at least continue with the snake, from prior experience, it just needed a little bit of elbow put into it, but he gave me runaround, repeating the same sales pitch over and over and continued to refuse to try again.

The next day, I cleared my head and decided to call for a second opinion. The plumber came, ran a snake through the line again. Took about 20-25 minutes and they finally broke through. Pulled the line back to show that it was just as I told them, roots stuck on their blades. They gladly pulled the line and re-ran it through 4-5 times until the water flowed freely. Yes, it's a problem that needs to be repaired. I asked the new plumber for a quote to fix the problem spot. They ran the camera and quoted me $1,500 to repair the broken issue.

So needless to say I was disappointed with the service call from this company. Very nice guys, but constantly tried to sell me on a $7,200 or $12,800 job, refused to make the effort to clear out the line as requested multiple time. To their credit, because they didn't resolve the issue, they didn't charge for the service call. But I would rather have paid them to finish the snaking job and not take another day off of work. The next guy came in, finished the job in less than 30 minutes and provided a quote that was nearly 80% less to fix the problem so it doesn't recur again.

Hopefully this company can learn from this and learn to be a little more flexible. Again, nice people, but disappointed that they tried to force me into a very costly repair by refusing to fix my backed up sewer line.

All of our experiences have been great
Drain clearance, dual water for lawn watering ( saves 150 per bill on sewer)
I don’t know why there are negative reviews. We have been satisfied every time. Try them

Contracted with them to replace bathtub, install new valve, re-tile, etc. Never argued about price and waited patiently thru delay after delay. This problem-free work on my side took nearly four weeks to complete, even though tile edge still to this day has not been completed. I stupidly paid in full anyway and was even willing to contract for more work. That additional work was tiling a 40 square ft bathroom floor which was first to cost $600 and then $1200 a week later without any reasonable explanation. Now my calls and texts are ignored and I'm left with an incomplete project. Be very wary of using this company as they do not deliver what they promise (in writing) and will leave you holding the bag. This was a long-established & reputable company bought by new owner who is not reputable and has no sense of right and wrong. Don't let my experience happen to you. Look elsewhere. You'll be glad you did in the long run.

Very Unprofessional Plumber, does incorrect repair costs and false statements to HOA to bill owners of condominiums and not HOA for repairs.

He is probably is receiving kickbacks from HOA management. I had to call multiple other plumbers for second opinion who confirmed my allegations

IF YOU DO CHOOSE TO USE THEM MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PHOTOS OF THE TIMESTAMPS OF WHEN THEY ARRIVE AND LEAVE. THEY WILL UNAPOLOGETICALLY TRY TO SCAM YOU OTHERWISE.

I cannot believe how much of a scam this was, I never write Google reviews but had to for this. I used them because my building recommended them and uses them for everything. Thank God for my Ring doorbell, attaching a photo of the arrival and departure of the plumber (who was actually very sweet and helpful). Per the photo, he arrived at 9:09am, at which time I explained what he needed to do. He left at 9:12am and went back to his truck to get his tools. At 9:27 am (15 minutes at his truck????) he came back with his tools. He finally left my home at 11:13am.

The front office tried to charge me for 2.5 hours versus 2 hours, a difference of $65, because the plumber left at 11:13am and came back 12 minutes later with the bill (11:25am) after putting his tools away. So I'm supposed to pay him for calling the office about my bill and putting his tools away? No way. I called the front office explaining he arrived at 9:09am and actually finished the project at 11:13am (I didn't even get into the 15 minutes at the truck that I paid for) and they STILL wanted to charge me for 2 hours and 15 minutes because of the 4 minute difference between 9:09am and11:13am. I know COVID has all of us strapped for cash, but you just CANT treat your customers like this. I had to argue with them to get it reduced to 2 hours since I wasn't paying for anything more. AND they always work at my building.... for 20+ years!! Why would a company treat any customers, let alone lifelong customers, like this. It just baffles me. The guy wasn't even apologetic or helpful.

This was absolutely pitiful. Plus the motion sensor on my faucet still isn't working, which might be a defective faucet, but to leave the customer with a project that isn't 100% perfect and try to charge them $65 more with no apology is just shameful.

I still need someone to come back and fix the faucet in a few weeks and I am super nervous to use them. I feel very disrespected by this entire process. Such a shame.

11 year old water heater suddenly failed on Saturday. Plumber couldn't come until Monday morning and when he did, unfortunately, he broke the news that the fix was not a simple thermocouple change out as I had hoped but would require a change out of the "brains" of the heater and since it was an old unit it was no longer warrantied nor did he have the part on hand to fix it without an order. Seeing my displeasure, and being a decent guy, he gave me a referral to another plumber (Jerry at Roy Neilson) who he said "might" be able to help me out same day, gave me a pat on the shoulder and wished me the best. I called the main office and was given Frank who sent me Ben as his "best guy." Ben came and diagnosed the same thing (unfortunately) but said he could get the "brains" for the next day or he could change out the whole heater. Well, I knew the heater was going to need to be changed this year anyhow, but I didn't want to do it under these circumstances. Jerry got on the phone and led me through the options. I went for the heater change out and, as promised, Ben (and Roy) showed up first thing next morning to begin the work. Jerry himself came by mid morning with the replacement heater and to take away the old one, and he gave his expert recommendations based on what he saw which were appreciated. Everyone was totally solid, friendly, and the work appears to be fine (less than a day out). Not looking to have major plumbing problems again any time soon, but if you do and you get Ben and Roy to come do your work and Jerry's leading the job, I'd feel confident that you have guys who will get the job done well for you. They made a positive experience out of my little hell. ;)

Excellent and prompt service. Technician came out on time and replaced a 60 y/o shower valve. Reasonable pricing, quick and very neat job. The new and quality part matched (as well as can be expected) with original hardware from 1965.

Decades of great service from owner Jerry and his office chief Frank. Reliable and super fair with pricing. They never oversell. Once tried another recommendation and the company tore my kitchen apart with ridiculous updates. Shut them down mid-job. Back to Roy Neilson who couldn’t believe that they installed all new pipes for a clogged drain. Five stars and class act team on the ground. Not a better company in the LA area. Available quickly for emergencies.

Excellent service. When I called, the person I spoke with was completely up front about their rates and charges. They scheduled me a few days out, but then reached out to let me know they can come earlier due to a cancellation, which was great. The technician, Armando was professional and quick and just like that, our drains are draining again! We will definitely be using them again in the future when the need arises.

I’m in an industry that I know a lot of plumbers but I only trust this guy here. For all my personal and commercial plumbing needs I only deal with Tig and his crew. Last thing he did was clear out my storm drains with that hydro jet .,. The amount of crap that came out wow!! I don’t have any more puddles in my back yard anymore. Thank you guys!!!!
