The team was great. Handled the call over the weekend and provided a clear idea of when they could be out to fix my clogged kitchen sink. Chris Lyans showed up during the scheduled time and was professional through and through. He also provided some tips on how to avoid the clog in the future. This is my second time working with Safe Cali and I would definitely do so again.

Chris was knowledgeable, professional and communicated clearly. He came in on a Saturday morning following a Friday evening service call, identified the source of the plumbing failure in the attic, proposed a few solutions and then made the fix - all in one visit. His quick work reduced the amount of damage that would have occurred.

Safe Cali Plumbing was dispatched by American Home Shield to address our stoppage issues - one was with the tub and another for a bathroom sink. I put in a service request on Tuesday 7/29, and someone from Safe Cali Plumbing reached out on the same day to schedule an appointment. Fast forward to today, DAVID arrived by 9:30am and removed the debris from the sink and bathtub drains, explaining his process and pointing out the cause of the stoppage. They responded to my order from my home warranty company. They were communicative, fixed the issue, and the person I spoke to, Daisy, was very nice.

David was great. Very personable and easy to communicate with. Was on time. Quickly fixed the broken trash disposal and even left me with a tool, so I can troubleshoot myself next time as the fix was super easy. Also, took a look at a separate draining issue and gave some advice that did lead to a positive solution.

Chris is a true professional and gentleman and total pleasure to work with. His communication skills don't leave the customer wondering or waiting. He is an amazingly talented individual who solves problems quickly, efficiently and therefore this customer is totally satisfied with his work. Chris may have given me my first positive experience with emergency plumbing. He was punctual, knowledgeable and was so good at communicating what he was doing. He provided an excellent product at a reasonable price. It is the prettiest water heater I have ever had. I will not hesitate to call on this company again and will happily recommend to friends and family.

I suspected there was an issue with my water pressure. One plumbing company told me I needed to pay $700 to replace it and also change the pipe. I decided to get a second opinion from Daniel. He was very professional, explained the reason for adding the valve, measured my water pressure, and assured me everything was fine. He also quickly fixed my leaking shower. I’m truly impressed by their professionalism and honesty, and I would definitely use them again

Predatory, dishonest, and completely useless.

American Home Shield sent this plumber for a leaking kitchen faucet in our new home. Instead of diagnosing the actual issue, leaking pipes, wood rot, and a poorly fitted faucet that needed a wall-mount solution, they fixated on the reverse osmosis system, which was a totally separate issue. The plumber barely spoke to us, spent maybe five minutes onsite, and left without doing a single thing to assess the real problem.

We later had to hire a real plumber, who correctly identified extensive damage and did a $5,000 repair using proper components and materials.

Avoid both this company and AHS’s contractor network. They exist to deny coverage, not fix your home.

David was awesome! Came here super efficient fixed the spout on our bathtub and knew exactly what was wrong with the toilet. Had it fixed up in under an hour! David is the best.

We found Safe Cali Plumbing through American Home Shield to unclog a shower drain that was backed up with hair. Dave completed the job efficiently and was very kind. Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about David! He came out through my home warranty service to look at my leaking toilet, and it turned out there were three separate issues with the toilet. He didn’t just do the bare minimum, he took the time to identify everything that was wrong and fixed each problem thoroughly. David was professional, courteous, and clearly takes pride in his work. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and dedicated these days. Highly recommend him to anyone who’s lucky enough to have him assigned to their service call!
