Rock Solid Electrical recently replaced 2 ceiling fans with lights and an interior electrical outlet for us. Alan was running late with his morning job and kept us posted on his ETA. He was friendly, knowledgeable, diligent and left his work areas clean. Alan worked until 7 p.m. on a Friday in order to complete the job. I highly recommend Rock Solid Electrical.

Early on a Saturday morning, experienced problems with my EV charger. Then, sparks shooting from the junction box leading to the charger!!! Called the electrician who installed the charger… but it’s Saturday and they, and most electricians in the area, are closed until Monday!!!

Found Rock Solid Electrical, their site said they were available weekends!!!!

James answered the phone and was there in 30 minutes!!!!! Problems identified and fix in place for the weekend. Alan came the following Monday to replace the junction box.

Can’t say enough about these guys. And, their available when you need them!!! If you want honest, responsive, concerned and personal help at a reasonable price. I can’t think of anyone better.

Backup generator job that was a little complicated due to our geography. First rate from start to finish. James is punctual, hardworking, and highly competent. He keeps you fully informed at all times and responds promptly to your texts. Cannot recommend him strongly enough.

They also addressed issues with various switches in our home that weren’t working properly or were overly complicated and inconvenient to use. I hired Rock Solid Electrical to come and set up the wiring for a fireplace unit in my house. I ended up adding on more work with track lighting and updating electrical outlets in my living room. My first contact with Rock Solid was with James Urquhart. James is a complete professional! He was great about returning my calls, scheduling appointments, following up to make sure our communication was complete and accurate, and being on site to get my job going, and make sure the work was what I needed and wanted. I also had the pleasure of working with Alan in my house. Alan is extremely attentive, skilled, and easy to have around. Alan and James were both very helpful with advising me on aspects of the work that I didn’t even know i should be asking about! When I had questions about installation and needed things adjusted, James was great about communicating and making sure that the adjustments happened the way I intended. Alan was also always communicating to make sure that what he was doing was what I intended, and he carried out his work agreeably, professionally and with great workmanship. James and Alan removed our old 1949 fuse box and converted it into a circuit breaker panel as well as update some fun reverse polarity wiring done by the previous owner. They were a pleasure to work with all around. Very knowledgable, punctual, professional and earnest. As for the work, Allen was amazing! He always arrived on time, he is extremely knowledgeable and efficient, did a great job protecting our space when he had to open up a section of wall and in cleaning up afterward. On top of that he is very personable and helpful. Most of all I'm thrilled with the lighting installed in my studio. No more dark shadows when I work!
