Altamira provided excellent customer service and was very thorough with each step of the project when repairing my foundation along with earthquake retrofitting. They were also very punctual with their expected timeline.

Daniel, Oscar and Ricardo were a pleasure to work with. Their response time was pretty fast when you had a question for them and they addressed any concerns that I had. They also took the time to educate me on what was going on with my foundation as they were repairing it.

We would highly recommend Altamira to others for their seismic retrofit projects - ours involved bolting and shear wall installation. We were referred to Altamira by our structural engineer. They had the most competitive bid we received from multiple contractors the engineer referred us to. Everyone we worked with (Daniel, Oscar, Ricardo, and Gerardo) were friendly, respectful, and skilled at their roles. They made the process easy and efficient both for the administrative tasks (photos, permits) and the construction itself. Throughout the project, they kept the work area and staging areas clean and well organized. We also appreciated their willingness to answer questions and help us better understand how the different aspects of the project were strengthening our home. We feel very confident in their work and are now resting more easily knowing our home is more secure.

Altamira did some foundation repairs on our 100 year old home and did an excellent job! They gave us a fair assessment of our foundation and a good price for the repairs. Arrived on time and finished the work when they said they would. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and always kept us in the loop as the project progressed.

They also suggested future work to water proof our foundation and were honest enough to tell us how we could get that work done for less.

Highly recommend for ESS (Earthquake Soft Story)! Altamira just finished an ESS seismic retrofit at our house in Oakland and my wife and I are very happy. Oscar was a great communicator and educator on the project and navigating the CEA ESS program related plans and permits, and ensured the project was competitively priced and well managed. Daniel and his crew performed the work, and were very professional, courteous, and tidy. They completed the work on time and within budget, and completed almost all of the CEA ESS application for us. I could not have been happier with a company than I was with All Seasons Construction. The entire drainage project was clearly delineated, the project (digging down 10 1/2 ft. and covering the foundation with impermeable material so that the studio below the garage would no longer have water damage). On some days, there were 12 men working to complete the project before the next rain storm! So appreciated the speed with which the project was completed.

Did not get a chance to work with Mark for the actual project, but had the pleasure of consulting with him on foundation repair for my home. Mark was very professional and responsive to all my questions, and was very easy to talk to. I hope to work with him on another house project of mine soon!

Found All Seasons Construction in the Diamond Certified Directory. Since we live on a hillside we needed someone who specialized in decks and foundations/retaining walls. Geez where to start??

Mark the owner came by to give us a bid on the job. This job was so complicated that he actually had to come over several times to get us an accurate bid. Another contractor that said he specialized in decks flat out said he couldn't do it and yet another guy came out twice and couldn't decide on what he wanted to charge us. Mark spent a lot of time evaluating our job without even being paid for it. After meeting with Mark it was a no brainer that we were going to use All Seasons Construction.

Mark gave us many options on materials, hidden screws vs. screws that could be seen from the top of the deck, and railing options. He strongly suggested cable railing and boy am I jumping up and down so happy that we went with his suggestion. The cable railing came out BEAUTIFUL!

Since this was a large job we expected that it would take some time to get the project done and as with all construction we expected to bump into a surprise or two. So I'll say that during the time it took from start to finish we were never inconvenienced by the workers, the construction material or the subcontractors (cement truck, port o potty guys ect. . . ). We were able to come in and get out of the property whenever we needed. The workers left the work area clean, safe and litter free. As far as bumps, we ran two structural issues that All Seasons foreman Miguel Angel and Mark were able to suggest solutions for. I was quite impressed that although they are the professionals they kept us in the loop on all issues and used our opinion to move forward with their choices and solutions to construction issues.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with our end product. I absolutely love Mark, Miguel and the All Seasons Crew. From start to finish they did an awesome job and they were very easy to work with. Sometimes I hate to give companies 5 star ratings because all the super picky, super naggy clients flock to these companies but I can't give All Seasons anything less. Sorry Mark.

I used All Seasons Construction to install a French drain around my duplex due to water accumulation in the crawlspace. What can I say but they did a fantastic job. From the initial detailed proposal to the execution of the work, they were very professional. The entire crew worked hard and upheld a level of quality that I wish all service oriented companies would. At one point during the excavation it was clear I had to replace my main sewer line as it was old and leaking. This is what sets All Seasons Construction into 5 stars... they did not nickel and dime me, rather, gave me a very reasonable cost on the additional work to replace the sewer line that did not put me in a dire financial situation. Everything was done at or beyond my expectations, and after 2 weeks my crawlspace is already dry. They even offered (and did) come back after the job was done to backfill some extra drainage gravel where I was going to be leveling up to a future deck area without charging me! I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

All Seasons Construction provided a timely & accurate estimate on our concrete retaining wall replacement project. They were very competitive in their pricing with other professional contractors in our area. Their communications from start to finish were excellent. And the work they performed exceeded our expectations! They started our job when they said they would, worked very day as promised and completed when promised. The crew that worked on our project were polite, knowledgable and focused. We could not be happier and would recommend them without reservation. Will use them again without hesitation!

Did some great work improving drainage by installing channel drains and new sump pumps with battery backup

All Seasons did a great job replacing my retaining wall and front stairs. It was a "no fun, gotta do" homeowner project, and they rocked it. They replaced my original walls with a lovely curve, and the tinted concrete came out beautifully. Communication was good with both the owner/project manager and foreman. They came in on-budget and under-time and finished every last little detail. I was extraordinarily busy during the time they were working, and paid them barely any attention. They did a fantastic job without my oversight. My neighbors keep complimenting me on the new stairs! (The wall looks great - I'm still working on the landscaping.)

All Seasons Construction are experts with true professionalism in drainage and foundation repairs in Oakland, Berkeley and beyond. I'm so glad I called them to install drainage so rainwater had somewhere to drain from my concrete patio. The owner Jeremy immediately scheduled an appointment, put together a proposal, got the needed permits, and set expectations for the schedule. The crew were like a well-oiled machine, working together to demo, install, and finalize a well working sump pump, surface drains, and French drain. They are sweet, friendly, collaborative, and truly experts. Drainage is expensive if you have to demo concrete so it's important to choose the right vendor. Working with All Seasons has been my best construction experience.

They installed the wrong countertops substituting cheap ugly material and then had the audacity to want to charge the customer to fix it. Beware
