I met with several companies prior to hiring Neza Iron Works. They had the vision that I wanted for my mid-century modern home. The work was impeccable. Within three weeks our project was complete. The crew that installed the railing was polite, competent, and professional. I have already talked with them about a couple of additional projects for the future. I had an odd job to do, fixing a broken steel sculpture. Armando responded quickly to my request and his welders were very helpful when I brought the piece in. They did a great job quickly. Would highly recommend. OK

Well, Armando is wonderful to work with and helped me out not one, not two, but three times when cars crashed through my security gate. Each time a different angle and each time it was fixed so that you would never guess what happened. Fair price and he was very empathetic to my situation, with having to pay out of pocket twice for hit and run drivers. Armando also did each job right away so we didn’t have to wait. I highly recommend Neza.

I was recommended Neza Iron Works by the guys at Ace Hardware on Grand Ave. Armando picked up the phone right away and was able to come by the same day and get our gate fixed. Our gate was pried open in an attempted burglary. It was quite a shock to find the gate completely open the next morning. I was so glad that Armando and Saul was able to fix the gate the same day. Our gate is unpainted intentionally so it will rust to match other features in our yard, uses 2x2 hog wire mesh and an outdoor rated coded gate lock.

You won't go wrong with Neza Iron Works! We have uaed them THREE times. We put in a railing down a dangerous flight of outdoor stairs and we so wish we had done it before! They did a beautiful job and manufacture on site to make sure everything fits perfectly. We had them come back to add more railing because we were so happy. Then, an 80 foot redwood tree fell on the railing and, can you believe it...the railing is still standing and "caught" the tree avoiding damaging our deck!!! WOW! They are scheduled to come out right away to fix the bend in the railing....no need to replace the whole thing since they make it all. BTW, i got several quotes initially and Neza was the fastest to respond and, by far, the most reasonable quote!

Absolutely the best fence builder/fabricator/installer in the east bay. We splurged a bit on a nicer gate. Shopped around and they were less expensive as well. If you're looking for a fence/gate these are your guys. Armando was incredibly kind and worked with us ever step of the way. He went above and beyond with this installation. We had a custom and complex design (24 ft long with hogwire, redwood and cantilever rollers). The gate is so smooth and brings a smile to my face every time it opens. They completely delivered. We will be using them for all future projects. 10/10 recommend.

I am so impressed and pleased with the professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail demonstrated by Armando and his team, Saul and Leo. My neighbor had a small railing installed about a year ago. It turned out well, so I asked for the company information. My house needed a railing at the bottom of the stairs and a gate across the top. I texted Armando and he came the next morning. We talked about the project and design, and he came back by the end of the day with a reasonable estimate. They could start a day later. When the team showed up, they were prepared and got right to work. We refined the design elements and sizes. Communication was excellent. The guys welded the templates and said they would finish fabrication and be back...THE NEXT DAY! Wow!
The next afternoon they arrived with the finished railing and gate, proceeded to install them, and then, to my complete surprise and delight, they painted my existing railings to they would look new, too!
Two neighbors have asked for their info, so I think I'll be seeing them around!

I can’t say enough good things about Armando and his crew. Armando sets the tone. He is so positive. He’s reliable kept his word, on time, and efficient. His crew has been working together for at least 5 years. They are skilled professionals. They designed handrails around my whole house that are even beyond what I had imagined in their simplicity and functionality. They got the job done in 2 days. Their price was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Neza Iron Works.

Bad formans

Ray's Electric has had tow signs outside our building for over two months now and updated the dates on the signs again for another month. I work from remotely and can see they have done zero construction in this time. Called 311 with the sign information, and these are not valid tow signs. There are no active temporary signs issued for our section of street. Ray's Electric puts up fake tow signs.

City of Oakland will be removing any signs without a visible valid permit on them.

Ray's Electric does great work. I had to increase the power coming into my home for a new hot tub. They did an excellent job.
