Sequoia Tree Service trimmed a 60ft Blue Atlas Cedar 15ft from our residence. They efficiently and beautifully trimmed this tree. They were very knowledgeable about trees and professionally handled this job.

Gary did a great job removing two large agave from my property. I was impressed by his professionalism and responsiveness. His fees were also very reasonable based on the job and quality of work.

We have a difficult steep site and our 30-40 foot tree was perched on the slope. Gary did the work himself, climbing the tree and handling the chain saw. His assistants below helped to clean up and grind the remains. Polite and prompt. Reasonable rates - comparable to the two other quotes we received.

I have a big Redwood tree in my backyard that I was getting worried about. The tree was never trimmed so I was kind of worried some of the large branches might come down in the event of a storm. I thought we might have to cut down the whole tree. It's a beautiful tree but I didn't want it to cause damage my property or my neighbors.
We called Gary he advised us the tree was good it just needed a trim.
After we signed the contract he came out a few days after signing the contract and did a very good job in triming the tree. Price was 1900 which I thought was very fair for a tree of that large size

Gary took down a large redwood for us. The work was reasonably priced, Gary was clear in his communication, and it was all done in a timely manner. Based on our experience, I recommend Sequoia Tree Service without reservation.

Overall we're happy enough with the service, but they could stand to up their communications game. There were some details that got overlooked, and when I asked about them after the crew left there was no response. Also, neighbors who were considering a Sequoia proposal had questions that were never answered, so they dropped it.

Amazingly professional. Gary scoped out our backyard. We had a dying tree that needed to be removed and a redwood grove that needed pruning. He assessed the work quickly and climbed the redwood himself to clear it of dangerous branches. A few storms later, and no missiles falling from the trees. The crew cleaned up and did a wonderful job giving new life to our backyard. We’ll be back a few years down the road to keep it maintained!

Love them! We are repeat customers of theirs. They trimmed a huge tree for us so it still provides privacy while allowing more sunlight. Recently they completely removed another tree for us which was no longer stable. Now our backyard is gorgeous and safe! Gary is a professional expert who performs the job perfectly every time. Gary was prompt and professional throughout the whole experience of working with him and his company. They did a great job trimming several medium size trees that hadn't been trimmed in years. I had gone back and forth with another tree trimming company which was less than responsive but Gary was on top of things and didn't waste any time getting ne a proposal and finishing the job. Due to strong winds on 3/14, a tall and big sequoia was blown over, about to fall on the neighbor's lot and a house. Gary came to inspect the situation within hours after the storm, and rapidly assembled a crew that came on 3/16 to bring down the tree. Fast emergency service, very professional, skillful and knowledgeable service. We had good communication. Overall very impressive execution with relief from this stressful episode, knowing that many other people had similar situations in my neighborhood.

I called and Gary came out two days later to look around our yard and give us a quote, which was very reasonably priced. And he's so knowledgable about the trees. And after accepting the quote, the work was completed one day later. Gary and his crew are so nice, respectful, on time, and clean up when they are finished. It's hard to tell they were there at all except your trees and yard look so much better.

Sequoia Tree Service recently pruned our two Coastal Redwood trees in our back garden. From our initial contact with Gary on the work site to the completion of service as he worked around weather conditions worked well for both of us.
The scope of work and quote were clearly outlined in writing as were labor, time, materials, removal of wood, debris, and green waste recycling.
Our two trees were trimmed of deadwood, canopy thinned, shaped, balanced, and cleared from our building. A three day right to cancel and currently certified liability insurance, and reasonable quote made for our decision to hire Sequoia.
Coordination for scheduling of work was effortless. Work crew were professional as well as their conduct.

We had him over to cut back an oak tree. He worked, by himself, on a huge tree for most of one day. The job wasn’t completely done at the end of the day, and he promised he’d come back to finish it. He never did come back. After repeated calls requesting him to come back, he still never came back. $1500 is a lot to prune an oak tree and not come back. Be careful on when you pay him. The job he did was good, but incomplete. If he had finished the job, I would’ve given him more stars.

Gary and his crew did a wonderful job pruning our two sequoias on our property line. After the pruning was completed, all the new cuttings and old dead fall were efficiently removed and the yard raked clean leaving it emaculate. The whole process from the initial estimate to completion of the service could not have gone smoother. I couldn't be happier with the results and how the trees and yard turned out. I will definitely use Sequoia Tree Service again.

The crew arrived late which caused us to cancel plan, overcharged us while doing a minimal amount of trimming, despite the contract including trimming back from the street and sidewalk. They also had very poor delayed communication. I would never recommend them to anyone and will never hire them again.
