I just had a consultation for installing an HVAC with Paul Ortiz and he was very knowledgeable and educational. He spent a lot of time answering my questions with care and provided me on-the-spot quotes for my different install options. I highly recommend including Service Lion/Paul in your HVAC research and provider search.

Oscar was amazing. He came in to install fire alarms and was so helpful. Some in hard to reach places and he was still able to complete everything quickly and did a great job!

Electrician arrived on appointment as scheduled. Started the job immediately. Was very knowledgeable did outstanding job I’m very happy with service he did. I recommend this highly recommend this company.

Ridiculously expensive and unreliable. Due to a leak, I agreed to the estimate. The tech then said she had to go to a meeting and another tech would come. Waited the whole day and then at the end of the day on Friday they said that no one was available and can they come in a Monday? Absolutely not. These guys suck! I went with another plumber who showed up on time, provided a reasonable estimate and stayed until the job was done. Saved a lot of money by not using these clowns.

About a month ago, I decided I wanted to address a longstanding (but small) issue with an electrical outlet in my mobile home. I happen to be looking for services on OfferUp, and was directed to service lion.

The tech came out to my location on time, to their credit. However once at my mobile home, they did an inspection of that particular outlet, checked my fuse box, then spent about 30 minutes on the phone with their supervisor. They then came back with three quotes, the most expensive one being $18,000, the cheapest one being something like $7,000. I initially was in a rush to get this taken care of due to a possible sale, so I initially agreed to the $7,000 one.

However one of my co-workers that I had been texting reminded me that we have a co-worker who is a licensed electrician. I canceled additional services, so instead of $7,000 I paid $800 for the services they had rendered so far, which had consisted of purchasing a few small pieces of materials, and a consultation. They told me the $7,000 quote would stand for the next week If I decided to proceed with services.

I asked them to send me the invoice along with a summary of the services they wanted to provide for $7,000. I did not receive either initially.

I then got a text from the technician, who asked how I liked his services. I said I needed a copy of that invoice and a summary of the services, and he provided the invoice without a summary of the services.

The next day I then got a call from somebody with service lion asking me if I would like to go ahead with the $7,000 service. I repeated that I needed to do a cross comparison with my co-worker, and ask for him to send me the invoice with the outline of the services that would be rendered for $7,000.

Finally he emailed me the summary of the services.

Since then I have received two or three more messages asking me about how satisfied I am with the services and if I wanted to go ahead with the $7,000 service.

My coworker who is a licensed electrician.... Did the repairs for $50.

I've been sitting on doing this review for a while now, because I wanted to give myself time to calm down before I posted anything. But the fact of the matter is that service line saw (a) A woman (b) without electrical training (c) who was willing to lean on their expertise (d) and who mentioned that she wanted to do this repair work so the next buyer would not have to worry about this. And they tried to milk me for it.

$7000 vs. $50.

It's not even close.

I cannot recommend their services, and while their technician might have been polite, it seems he was also willing to go along with this scam.

Oscar and Courtney came out to replace our circuit breaker panel on 2/18/2025 and was very professional and knowledgeable. They came in and explained everything in detail, and answered every question. I would recommend Oscar and Courtney to any and all my friends and family. Thank you for your service 🙏 Today is 2/19/2025 and it's day two of the project. Courtney and Jacob came to rewire all the outlets and light switches. They explained why and how this process would take place, explaining in detail the process, and amount of time it would take. After everything was done they walked us throughout the house examining all the outlets and light switches to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. I've never had such incredible service, mixed with integrity and professionalism. Thank you Courtney and Jacob for your top notch service, I couldn't ask for better.

I am very satisfied with the workmanship Service Lion provided me. Set of crew arrived very early morning , they did a nonstop work . They completely installed HVAC system and Tankless water heater . The crew stayed till 8:00 PM till installations completed . They leaved my place neat and clean . To anyone out there who consider hiring for HVAC , Tankless Water Heater or just simply repair , you will never go wrong to hire Service Lion .

In August 2023, they came out to install an outlet so I could connect my E.V. to have a faster charge. Now on Feb 2025 the outlet almost caught my garage on fire. I called them to let them know that the outlet they had installed almost caught my garage on fire. Luckily I had come home when I saw the smoke. So when the technician came out to look at the damages. The first thing he had asked me was if the item was UL-listed? And of course, I had no idea what he was asking. And when he found out that the item was not, he said that it was the charger's fault. I went to ask him that shouldn't the other technician should have told me that? It is not safe to plug things into the socket that they put in for me to give the customer safety tips before they do any kind of work. Isn't that the reason why we hire professionals so we are aware? Because that is the first thing they told me when they came to look at the damages. So that should be the first thing they should have told me before they put the wall socket in. If you go buy a car that needs 91 octane, well they tell you when you purchase the car. They should inform you when it took 30 minutes and they are charging you $670 !! What would have? hazardous happened if I was not at home and my garage did catch on fire because they didn't inform me. Again that should have been the first thing anyone doing any kind of work that can be hazards they should inform you because they are professionals and that is why we hire them and pay for a service. I hope everyone reads this, just remember that if you plug something into a socket that isn't UL-listed don't expect the experts to tell you. So to find out that the EV charger was UL listed I called the company back and let them know but I got no response back. I would recommend that if anyone needs this kind of service, please go with someone who is more responsive and will do the job correctly unless you want your house burned down.

TLDR: Giving two stars for the responsive and helpful admin staff Lulu and Lauren but I wouldn't recommend the plumbing services.

Also after you complete a service they direct you to Google reviews and that's intentional because the Yelp reviews are abysmal.

We needed a plumbing repair Tracy came out same day and replaced an angle stop and supply line. It started leaking at the site of repair a few hours later, I will be calling service Lion to give them a chance to repair the error and will update my review accordingly.

Update: the plumber did not tighten the fixture enough. Tracy came back, tightened the everything and replaced the other valve it was ~ $500 total.

Edit: after two repeat visits now the Ujoint is leaking which wasn't a problem we encountered in the past. Plumbers are saying it was how the sink was originally installed but there was no problem with the ujoint until the tech tried to repair the angle valve.

From start to finish, Service Lion Plumbing Heating Air Electric delivered dependable service. The electrician worked carefully and left the area clean. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had called to have somebody come out because I had replaced the batteries in one of my smoke alarms and it was still chirping. He told me I needed to replace all of the units in my house and that they were $350 apiece without even checking the others I had my friend come over and it turned out. It was just batteries. We replaced the batteries in three units downstairs and everything is fine. He was very upset that I wasn’t buying from him and also took the units out of the ceilings and did not put them back. I would not use this company.

After having the original contractor push out the promised installation date to an unacceptable date, I contacted Service Lion. They came out instantly, gave me a fair estimate, installed the unit, and took care of some additional issues at a fair price. Great service overall.

Response time for my plumbing request was very quick, and technician was here within the hour. I received a text message with a picture of the technician Mahdi. He identified the problems and fixed them. He was professional, explained all work and was careful while in my home. I'm satisfied with the work, and I'd use this company again.

Got flush/descale service on an electrical tankless water heater. Madi was very courteous and efficient with his work. This is a fairly simple procedure but takes 45 mins of flush time. I was charged $255 ... more than I expected, but with the inflation these days, perhaps the norm. My only peeve with the company is that I was told that a plumber would arrive within a 2 hr window with a call an hr before. Since no one showed up at the end of the window, I called them. The plumber came 3 hrs later.

Courtney was on time for the scheduled appointment and was very courteous. We had a challenging install for a heat sensor alarm in our garage that had to wire into our home smoke detectors. Courtney knew just what to do and got the job done cleanly. I would recommend!

My power went out unexpectedly in half of my home. I called this service and they arrived faster than expected. The issue was quickly located and fixed, restoring everything almost immediately. The technician was respectful of my time and clearly an expert. I highly recommend them for their speed and quality of work.

We were very happy with the overall service and speed by which we were assisted by Service Lion Plumbing Heating. We called and had an inspection for a repair to be completed, but we found out that our furnace had an irreparable part in mid morning. The furnace was replaced later that afternoon by a team. Everything was functioning great later by 4:30 that afternoon. Great job and service!

My experience with Lion Plumbing was excellent! Matt showed up on time and did an amazing job explaining what was needed to fix my Plumbing issue. Clogged drain line. He had it done in less than an hour and even showed me what he was doing. Thanks for the good work. Highly recommend.

Chris Carrillo hvac service tech is a personable and honest worker and a great representative for Service Lion. He explained in layman terms what services were needed.They are definately my new service company. I felt at ease after his evaluation.

Service Lion helped us with an electrical panel upgrade in our home in Irvine and the experience was excellent. Oscar arrived on time, explained the entire process clearly and completed the work with great attention to detail. The area was left spotless and communication throughout was outstanding.

Chris was respectful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. It’s rare to find service techs who are this dedicated and professional.
