Had them come out to quote moving a furnace flue about a foot north east of its current location. They informed me that relocation isn't feasible due to it not meeting the required horizontal run, specifically the 60-degree rise limit. I corrected them that installation instructions suggest a much gentler slope. Despite pointing this out, they declined to proceed with the original request but pushed selling me a new furnace with improved efficiency and relaxed venting standards. Given their down-the-street location and positive online reviews, I decided to give them a try despite being underwhelmed by our interaction. Thankfully, I have other bids lined up for the flue relocation, so I won't be purchasing a new furnace from them after all.
