We needed a garbage disposal repair. Jairo, the plumbing technician from A-1 plumbers showed up early and fixed the problem within minutes! Excellent service. No hassles.

Edgar was super professional and helped us fix our sink issues. He brought up concerns to the house warranty and ensured everything would be resolved promptly.

One of the worst service providers we’ve dealt with. We were assigned this company through American Home Shield, and the experience was extremely disappointing.

The first technician gave us a report stating that everything was covered under warranty. Later, a second plumber came and said the first one didn’t diagnose the issue properly — and then changed the conclusion to say it was not covered.

For two weeks, they kept going back and forth trying to figure out what the actual issue was. There was no proper diagnosis, no clear communication, and no accountability.

I would not recommend this plumbing company.

I had two issues that I reported through my home warranty company. The first was a leaking tub spout and the second was a slow leak in a copper supple line that is readily accessible in my crawl space. The warranty company initially dispatched A1 Phoenix. The technician that came out was not able to replace the tub spout and just told me there was a different size attachment adapter on the pipe and that he didn’t know what it was or what to do with it. With about 5 minutes of Google searching, I figured out that it’s the adapter used for Delta tub spouts. This seems like something a plumber should know. I ended up fixing the tub spout myself with no help from A1 Phoenix. Then the technician looked at the copper pipe leak and told me that it required major modifications and wouldn’t be covered under my home warranty. I asked him to clarify, since it was just a repair of an easily accessible copper supply line, and he responded that he couldn't explain. I called my Home Warranty company after the plumber left and they agreed that the copper supply line repair should be covered. The report from A1 Phoenix contained a bunch of incorrect information, saying it was a drain pipe, which it was not, and claiming the connectors to do the copper pipe repair were major modifications. My Home Warranty company dispatched a new plumbing company, who took repaired the copper supply pipe leak without any issues and all under the warranty. A1 Phoenix seems to be trying to scam people with home warranties by claiming things are not covered under the warranty so they can get you to pay a bunch more out of pocket. To top all this off, weeks have gone by since the new plumbers repaired my pipe leak, and now I've FINALLY gotten a phone call from A1 Phoenix saying it will be $540 out of pocket and wanting to complete the repairs. It has taken them weeks to follow up about a water leak. Absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely do not use this company.

Had to work with them bc they were assigned by the home warranty. If this is your situation, do what I should have done and pester your home warranty until they give you a new contractor. Took 4 weeks to get a water heater replaced because they took 10 days to respond to the initial request, then ordered the wrong part twice. They blamed the home warranty and took no accountability and were defensive. I know I sound like a meanie now, but I do lead with respect and kindness. They requested prepayment through Zelle, but also required a credit card to schedule the appointment. I told the technician I'd prepaid, he charged me again anyway. I'm now having to call and email and generally rage to get them to refund me. I have to wait for the second, fraudulent charge to clear on my card before I can dispute it.

They DID replace the water heater tonight, after a month of no hot water. I'm not hopeful it will hold, but I'm bitter and cynical. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with. Mario from a1 phoenix plumbing was sent from my home warranty company and asked for a 5 star review but didn't fix all the issues and lied to the home warranty company that they were fixed. I have a video of him not able to flush a toilet and the toilet constantly running. It is a pressure assisted toilet and intermittently takes a lot of fiddling to get it to flush. Sometimes up to 45 minutes of fiddling. In addition it constantly leaks water causing the water bill to skyrocket. He told the home warranty there is no mechanical failure. This was after he told me they will only replace it with a standard toilet which is not true and I vocalized that to him. This is only the tip of the iceberg with the problems with this outfit. He also lied stated that American home shield doesn’t cover wax rings and he would replace mine and not tell them if I would give him a 5 star review. A simple google shows they fully do cover the wax ring. If you get assigned to them so everything you can to get a different plumber. If you hire them both through your home warranty I would be very surprised as their terrible reviews speak for themselves so I'm sure only people that are forced to use them by their home warranty companies actually do.

Jairo was professional, punctual, and did excellent work. Everything was fixed quickly and done right the first time. Highly recommend!

This company was sent by my warranty company. My first experience was not great - the person who came out just told me he couldn’t help me and provided little to no explanation and my warranty company had a hard time getting any more information from him. I was hesitant when assigned the same company for a different issue but this time Jairo and his colleague came out and they were great! They fixed 2 of my toilets in under an hour and explained well what the issues were. I would give him 5 stars (and the first guy who came out 3 stars)

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. They overbook appointments and cancelled last minute stating the plumber had an accident and had to go to the hospital. I rescheduled the appointment. The next time, he didn't show up after until 2 hours from the appointment time. I called the number and they said the plumber had a meeting with the manager in the morning and it's taking longer at his prior appointment so everything is running slow.

This made me realize no accident happened on the prior occasion. They overbook themselves and then have to cancel someone in the day since they can't cover everything. BE AWARE.

Finally, the person shows up 2 hours late and just fiddled around in the toilet tank and wasn't willing to repair anything. After some arguing, he said I will replace a flapper and that's it. He did that but that didn't fix the leak in the toilet.

He submitted a false report to the insurance company stating that everything was working.

Great experience with Jiro! He came out and diagnosed our issue quickly. The fix was done quickly. Clear communication and on time.

If you need a great plumbing service, call A1 Phoenix plumbing, all workers were great and made sure we had water and our toilet working right. Thank you for the leadership of Gerardo. The front yard was better when they left. 👍

Jairo is amazing. Couldn’t be more thankful and appreciative of his time helping us. We had a sneaky leak that was not easy to detect. Every time we thought we couldn’t find an issue he kept suggesting more things and to double check everything super thoroughly. He was really focused on trying everything he could to help us and figure it out and didn’t rush through anything. He was super courteous and comfortable to work with. He made sure that we knew What to Expect and checked everything with me along the way. So professional.
