GroutPro was recommended to me by a close friend. The one regret I have is that I didn't call sooner. GroutPro changed the color of the grout in the kitchen counters and sealed a cracked tile and it looks like a brand new counter top. Charlie also caulked a bathtub for me. He is very knowledgeable, very professional and his services are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend GroutPro.

Charlie was prompt and direct. After contemplating a whole bathroom remodel due to grout damage, I called around and got some advice. There are big players around town that will seal the shower, but I went with Charlie and glad I did. He fixed the broken grout and sealed it. His price was very reasonable and he was very professional.

Charlie is the consummate professional. He provided an estimate for restoring my tile grout in the kitchen (gray tile and grout) and bathrooms (white tile and grout). He also recommended re-caulking around the toilet because the white caulk was discolored. He explained his process, answered questions, provided a more-than-reasonable price (payment by cash or check), and set up an appointment. He is in high demand, so the appointment was five weeks out (and he is well worth waiting for!)
He showed up on-time. He cleaned the floors first. Then, he re-tinted the grout (he is a master at mixing colors to come up with the right color - and did several mixes and samples on the grout for me to choose from). Finally, he sealed the grout. He is a craftsman and has incredible attention-to-detail. The result is that all the floors look brand new!

We hired this company because our upstairs shower was leaking. After having our shower re-caulked and resealed, the leaking stopped and we have never had a problem since. This saved me thousands of dollars. In fact, later on we had some new floor tile put in another bathroom so I hired Groutpro to seal the tile and because I was so pleased with the initial service in our upstairs shower, I had them re-caulk and seal the shower in that bathroom as well. I am very pleased with both jobs. I highly recommend this company.

Highly recommended! Charlie did a fantastic job with my master bath shower tile. I'm replacing my glass enclosure and the tile/grout needed work. So I had the glass removed first and called Charlie to restore the tile and grout. He showed up on time and worked non-stop for about 5 hours. The results far exceeded my expectations and it literally looks like new!

Don't waste your time, Charlie is very unprofessional. I reached out to Charlie and scheduled an appointment with him. 30 minutes past our appointment, I reached out to him to confirm if he was still confirming and he admitted he had forgotten and he was already home and unwilling to come. I had to follow up with him several times to reschedule; yes, he put the onus on the customer and didn't hold any professional accountability even though he was the one that missed the appointment. I question why I even tried so hard... but when he finally got here, he provided a quote and left. I followed up with him because I had questions about the grout color and the scope of the project. He had told me he was available for this job on 2/20. I texted him and called him, leaving him a voicemail, prior to 2/20. Never again heard from him. I was never rude to him or anything; this guy has zero accountability and zero professionalism.

Don't waste your time. There are plenty of other Grout restoration companies and they are very responsive and professional.

Our 15 year old bathroom white tile was in great shape (a few loose tiles) but the discolored grout made the bathrooms look dated and dinghy. We contemplated remodeling but the cost was too high for all three bathrooms. We found GroutPro as an alternative and it turned out to be the best decision. Huge improvement and incredible value compared to remodeling. The bathrooms look like new(see pictures). For a job like this you need someone detailed oriented and methodical. GroutPro is all of this and extremely professional and cleaned up at the end of every day. Highly recommend!

After 26 years, we just could not keep our shower looking clean.  There was buildup of soap in the grout lines, erosion of grout and the white tile just wasn't all that white anymore.  We tried several different cleaning products to get the tile clean, but a major fail.  So, we decided to give Charlie a call.  He came out promptly and gave us an estimate.  His pricing was reasonable so we scheduled the job.

He totally restored the tile and the grout in the shower, counters and tub enclosure back to their original state.

While we would have loved to have remodeled our bathroom, the cost was prohibitive.  We just couldn't stand how the tile looked.  Now, thanks to Charlie and a mere fraction of the cost, our master bath looks great and we can now put off a major remodel for a few more years.  Money well spent and if you are hesitant in any way, don't be.  Call Charlie now.

ServPro came out, quickly evaulated our needs after a leak then dried us out!
We had a delay in completion of the project. However, it was because they volunteered to go assist in Texas after a major natural disaster. I couldnt think of a better reason to delay!

We were very pleased with the work done after a water leak in our home. It was not cheap! But we do feel we got good results for the price, and were especially pleased with the attention and service from Ralph.

Everyone at Servpro Poway/Rancho Bernardo was polite, professional and respectful along with the sub-contractors they provided. They kept us informed of the necessary work and progress and it was done very well. We would definitely recommend them.

I consider myself to be a very patient and rational person. What I went through with ServPro tested my limits. They are either scam artists who took advantage of my situation or they are completely incompetent. They do not have your best interest in mind. Do not use ServPro Poway/Rancho Bernardo for any services under any circumstances.

Here is a list of things they did wrong:

- Took them six months to dry my living room ceiling
- I kept having to follow up with them by phone to get things moving
- No time tables could be provided upon request
- They didn't record dry logs for most of those six months
- They damaged my wood floor when they opened the ceiling and did not accept liability for it even though they acknowledged it. It wasn't even necessary to replace my floor until they damaged it.
- No invoices were shared with me even when I asked and it took them forever to submit it
- The $1000 deposit I paid was not included in the final invoice.
- I had to unexpectedly pay for a asbestos inspection invoice they required to avoid late fees. They were completely unaware of the impending late fees.
- I had to use my own insurance because they didn't understand the process for reaching a settlement with my neighbor's insurance. My premium will go up because of this.
- I reported all this to ServPro corporate and all they did was forward the complaints to the franchisee. What the hell?

EDIT: I just wanted to respond. It is not just me saying this. I have spoken to different professionals regarding the situation and all of them get a chuckle when I tell them my story. Six months of drying is ridiculous. Yeah your guy visited me a dozen times because I had to call to get him to show up. My upstairs neighbor was not leaking more water. I was told several times it was not getting wetter and was slowly drying by your guy. My insurance was unhappy with your work and the obvious solution was to go with somebody else who can fix the mess you left. If you don't know how to deal with a third party claimant settlement, then don't take the job!

Ralph Del Valle is a pros pro! I have never worked with anyone more thoughtful and professional than Ralph. My wife and I are extremely grateful to how he worked with us throughout our entire ordeal. He made us feel special, like we mattered. And he can really tell stories! Lots of interesting stories. Thanks for everything Ralph!

The folks at Servpro, specifically Solomon, were so incredibly helpful during the process of our bathroom repair and then remodel. We are pretty new to the homeowner experience, so he really helped us navigate everything and was always available to answer any questions we had. We will absolutely work with Servpro again in the future after our positive experience.

ServePro did a great job of removing long-term damage and mold from a slow leak in our kitchen. This is one of those jobs that you might consider doing yourself, but there are great reasons NOT to do this. Water damage and mold MUST be disclosed to potential buyers! The only way to get full price out of your home and any remodel work in the future is to have a professional company complete this work and certify the area mold-free. Not only that, but the added peace of mind in having a warranty on the work is worth the price paid. If our brand new cabinets show any negative signs in the next 5 years, the work done prior to their installation is under warranty. Ralph and the ServePro team did a great job, were wonderful with communication, kept the cost within the estimate range, and were as non-obtrusive as they could be under the circumstances.
