I came home from a night out with some friends. And there was water coming out of my front door. I immediately panicked. Apparently a water line had burst and was leaking water all over my house. After shutting off my water, I looked on Yelp and found West Coast Restoration & Cleaning came highly reviewed and called them.

Even though it was after hours, Ray and his team were at my house quickly and immediately got to work. They were able to help clean and repair the water damage quickly so that wouldn't have a mold problem. Once they finished, it looked like new with very minimal long term damage (we had to replace one floor).

I highly recommend them if you have a water, fire or mold issue. Or just need some general deep cleaning to impress the in-laws.

Nathan and his team were extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and caring when a pipe broke behind our kitchen wall. Nathan arrived within hours of my calling him after the burst pipe happened. He set up the remediation equipment and had his team come to our home daily to take humidity readings, check the equipment, etc. When it came time for the damaged drywall, cabinets and countertops to be removed, the West Coast team took meticulous care to install a zippered floor-to-ceiling plastic enclosure to help prevent demolition dust from ending up all over our belongings; they also put down a heavy duty runner from the kitchen to our front door (to prevent damage to our floors from carting out all the cabinets, drywall, etc.). I have had nothing but prompt returned calls from Nathan, the team and Natasha (the office manager: she is an incredibly kind, warm person who deserves an extra shout-out for diligently working from home as well as juggling homeschooling all her kiddos during the Covid-19 pandemic!).

In short, if you're looking for a get-it-done-the-right-way water response/restoration team, then West Coast Restoration & Cleaning is THE company to hire.

My plumber recommended West Coast during a sudden toilet overflow and they responded immediately. A remediation plan was created and step by step clean up and demolition based on their findings was done at each step and keeping me informed. The team, led by Albert, did an amazing job throughout the project and I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you Albert and team!

If you have Geico/Travelers insurance, my sincere advice is to stay as far away as possible from West Coast Restoration and Nathan Raymond. He will not keep his words and ditch you right when he gets his money.

I called Nathan for estimate when I had a leak at my condo and wanted to not involve insurance. He gave me a verbal quote of around $1500 for restoration which made me go the route of filing insurance claim which has $1000 deductible. Nathan pitched me that 80% of his job is to fight for his clients with the insurance adjuster and that he will sort out all insurance dealings for me. I had paid him a check for $150 for the first visit which he said he will apply towards the restoration if I employ his services. The day restoration had to start, he made me sign a document that I am personally responsible for paying to him and the dealing between the insurance and me are my problems. He sweet talked me that these are industry norms for paperwork and that he will personally help me. The restoration estimate in this contract jumped from $1500 to $4000 but I didn’t hesitate as now insurance was involved and I assumed there will be price adjustments. When the work was done, the final bill came out for $6351 (more than 4x the initial estimate). You can imagine what kind of ethics he has when the final invoice was 400% of the estimate. His crew did a clean job of restoration though.

From here onward, everything went south. He demanded that I pay him the full amount within 14 days of the completion date and he did not even want to speak to the adjuster. He gave me a harsh rude letter that I should sent to the adjuster trying to convince me that Travelers is a horrible company to engage with and that this is the only way to go forward. Since I had signed a contract to pay him, I did pay him out of my pocket (minus $150 that I had already made out a check to him). His assistant chased me for the $150 and tried to convince me that Nathan tore that check. Based on my recent experience, I had little belief in him in any matters where money was involved but I finally gave in and sent him another check for $150. He was not to be seen or heard after that and I had to work with my insurance on my own completely.

In the end the insurance adjuster and Travelers turn out to be top notch people to work with and they covered me as much as they could. The only bad taste I was left in this whole episode was the sweet talking Nathan who only wanted my business and charged 400% of the estimate, did not even talk to insurance once (which he had promised) and left me having to figure out the insurance process which is the only reason I had hired his services for.

Your mileage might vary but this was not at all a positive experience for me

I am a Floridian that has a condo in San diego where I spend a few months of the year to escape the Miami heat. I came back to an unexpected mold disaster a couple weeks ago after a neighbor had a flood and didn't mention anything to the association. I was referred to west coast restoration by a friend who had a good experience with their services. I must say, they were super great to deal with. They came over the same afternoon I called and gave me an on the spot estimate, that I signed. They were at my unit the next morning at 8:30 am and completed the job within 3 days. Clean, professional service. I highly recommend!

I have been dealing with West Coast Steam Clean since their inception, and I have never been disappointed with their service - and most of all, the exceptionally respectful and attentive customer service. Their technicians always come dressed in official company attire with what looks like gleaming brand new state-of-the-art equipment. My carpet (and kitchen/bathroom tiles BTW!!!) end up looking brand new, and I feel like I am dealing with experienced professionals rather than the rabble that used to be sent out by whatever random company I would call. That's really amazing, and was one of the primary reasons I initially used them for my carpet cleaning. Their service was top notch, and their technicians were very knowledgeable and clean cut. We called this company to assess some water damage and mold in a rental home we recently moved into. We spoke with Albert on the phone multiple times and he was wonderful in helping us navigate the assessment via our landlord.

Askia came out to do the assessment and quote and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was thorough in assessing the damage and kind in walking us through what the work would entail and reassuring us. He also communicated his findings directly to the homeowner. Askia and Christian came out to do the remediation work and did a wonderful job. They were careful to protect the surrounding parts of the home and left everything very clean. I have owned homes and had all kinds of work done on them for 20 years. West Coast Restoration was by far the most courteous and professional business I have ever dealt with. They arrived on time, cleaned my upholstery right then and took my rugs for cleaning. I had just had a minor disaster at the house and the rugs ended up so filthy I was sure I would need to throw them out. But when they brought them back the following week they looked amazing. Just like I had bought new rugs. They also made an exception to their hours of service just to deliver my rugs at a time that worked for me. And finally, the price for all this work was very reasonable.

I highly recommend them to everyone needing services from upholstery and rug cleaning through entire restoration after a disaster such as a fire or flood. They also clean the things we tend to forget such as air conditioning and clothes dryer ducts. I will be having them come once a year for a thorough cleaning of everything so I can rest assured that the whole house is as clean and well maintained as possible

I have used this company multiple time for our rental properties. Everyone that we have had to work with the company was amazing and knowledgeable. Albert and Ski are couple of the employees that I have had direct contact with on more then one occasion and they always very prompt, on time, considerate of my tenants home, and a pleasure to work with. I appreciate that they always answer our million questions and provide answers to how we should care for our properties after water damage. I highly recommend this company.

We’ve hired West Coast Restoration 4 times now. Albert and his team are our go-to whenever we find water damage and mold. Not only are they consistently the best price (we’ve shopped around), but they are very thorough and professional, which we could not say for another remediation company we’ve hired.

Albert responded to our call for water /mold remediation in a small back house on our property. He was very professional, explained the several step process involved in the job and provided a bid that was very competitive. The team came a a gew days later and did a good job of removing the damaged area and drying out the room . We recommend them highly .

I had a fantastic experience working with West Coast Restoration. My water heater leaked and flooded part of my condo. They guided me step by step through out the mold removal and restoration process. They also helped me communicate with the insurance. Since I was out of town for the flooring restoration, I couldn't select the new flooring myself. Nathan did a great job select the flooring pattern and color identical to my initial floor. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the result, my room is back to exactly what it was when I left for vacation.

We contacted West Coast Restoration for what we thought was a small amount of surface mold in our bedroom. The demo team uncovered a much larger mold issue that had been ignored twice by previous contractors. Suffice it to say the project was MUCH larger than we had expected, but it was a case where you have to address the root of the issue to prevent the mold for returning.
The demo and construction teams were very professional and respectful of our property and took on a significant project to save our house from perpetual mold.
We enjoyed working with the WCR&R team and are really happy with the quality of the work and the solutions that we came up with together to protect our home.
It was not a cheap project but a project where we feel that we really got a lot for what we paid for and we feel very satisfied in the work that was performed.
We wouldn't hesitate to contact this team to perform any work at our house in the future.

I contacted West Coast Restoration and Repair to help us with mold we found on our drywall. They came out and gave us a free estimate with a very fair price to remediate our mold issue. We hired them and they did an amazing job. The men doing the work were thorough but also very careful to only remove what needed to be removed and nothing extra. They understood that we had very little replacement flooring and were very careful to respect our wishes to minimize the removal but still make sure to get all of the mold out. They were also very respectful and even put up with my annoying dogs that kept barking at them! We're hoping to also be able to work with them when we are ready to restore our damage back to its original condition. Check out the before and after pictures!

We met with Doron who explained in detail how their company takes care of their clients, from their above-and-beyond certifications to their invoice system that lets us play with the numbers until we find a project that fits our needs and budget.

We learned A LOT about construction while chatting with Doron, such as did you know that this team has both their general construction and a special license for landscaping work? Not every contractor has this and it is important. Again, above and beyond level of effort to truly demonstrate the quality of their team's work before they break ground.
