It is literally hard to believe in these times you can get a contractor to show up, do the work, timely, for a fair price, and a quality result. If that is what you are looking for, you have found your company. I’m still literally floored that these guys are as good as they are when they really don’t have to be in this market to remain competitive. I read one review where the potential client said he/she was pressured. To the contrary, for us, they wrote up a contract with 40k worth of work, and let me pick and choose, add/subtract all throughout the job and were completely flexible. The workers were respectful, timely, and resourceful. They came up with truly creative solutions for sometimes complex problems created by our own design choices. In terms of managing the project, Jonathan did what he said, and said what he did whenever I needed him to do it. This should be your contractor, for projects large and small. Jim and Tiffany

The Need For Build team were professional, patient and a pleasure to work with on our bathroom renovations. They were willing to work with us to keep costs down without compromising on quality. Fredy and team were able to finish the job quickly and respectfully (which was great for me as I work from home most days). Ivan and Darrell guided us every step of the way in picking the material and recommending great suppliers, and they frequently checked in to make sure everything was going as planned and to our satisfaction. I worked with Russell on a complete remodel of my backyard space, including demo and installation of a new deck, artificial turf, pavers & a new spa. He and his crew were amazing to work with! We hired Need for Build for a backyard hardscape project and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the initial site visit with Alex Fuego, who walked us through the process and gave us the confidence to move forward, to the thoughtful, hardworking crew who showed up every day with care and precision, the experience exceeded our expectations.

This wasn’t a big job by their standards, but they treated it with the same attention and white-glove service as if it were. The crew checked in regularly, included us in key decisions, and were always kind, even with our 5-year-old popping out to greet them in the mornings.

The peace of mind in hiring a fully licensed, well-established team was worth every penny. We now have a beautiful, clean foundation for the next phase of our landscaping, and we’re so glad we didn’t try to DIY it. Highly recommend!

I had a really great experience with this company and our project Manager Fernando. He is so professional and detail-oriented and I could tell quickly upon meeting him that he is very committed to high quality work. My backyard has a lot of complications in terms of grading, landscaping, aggressive tree roots, etc and he spent a lot of time from start to finish measuring and analyzing the space to make sure and maximize my outdoor living space in the best way possible. Also, this is the only contractor I spoke with when initially getting estimates that provides a 10-year warranty for a concrete work (and I believe it’s for pavers as well) so that’s a huge plus!

I’ve had concrete slab work done on a previous property so I’m familiar with the process and the way this company has organized their entire process, it’s clear that they take extra steps to make sure it’s built to last. It’s such a relief when you finally find a really reliable contractor to work with, I highly recommend.

I researched many companies prior to selecting Need For Build to demo two large sections of block wall and install vinyl fencing in my backyard. Even tho they won't the cheapest, I l chose Need For Build because of Rachel's professionalism when making her presentation and the fact that they had their own employees (no subs) and they would do both the demo and install of the fencing. The demo and fencing involved getting buyin from three neighbors and an HOA. Rachel did a fantastic job putting all the docs together to obtain approvals. The demo work was challenging, but Gus and his sons did an outstanding job. The fence looks amazing and all the neighbors involved are very happy with the outcome! Thanks to Gus, his sons, and Rachel for all of their hard work and dedication on a job well done!

Working with Need for Build was an awesome experience. We narrowed potential companies down to NfB and another company. When Michael arrived and we walked through the project, there was an instant connection. He got what we wanted, and he took what I thought were good ideas and made them better. The entire process for hardscaping was complete in less than 3 days. As materials arrived, the rest of the job was completed in a timely fashion. Importantly, the line of communication between us and Michael was seamless and responses were quick. We highly recommend this company.

Need For Build did an outstanding job modifying the side yard of our house. The job included clearing large sections of dirt, building a 3’ by 50’ retaining wall, and installing pavers. The cost estimate came in thousands less than the others I received for the same work. They started on schedule and had a time estimate of 2 to 3 weeks, but they actually finished in only 8 working days. They were very flexible and made changes to the plan at my request as the job proceeded. The work crews were all very polite and helpful; they cleaned up each day and left the final site looking excellent. Another great point is that David was both the salesperson and the project manager so he showed up every day to make sure the progress matched my expectations - I’ve had other company’s sales people disappear once the sale has been made, but not David!

Need for Build did a wonderful job of replacing my cement sidewalk with pavers.
They were very patient with my HOA process and the workers came every day in the heat, cleaned up everything after each day and were polite. Would definitely use them again. Thanks Jonathon and crew.

Ivan, Robert, Guerro and the crews are all incredible. The outdoor kitchen/bar they built in my backyard is truly a sight to behold, and these guys knocked it out of the park. They couldn't have been easier to work with, and got everything done really fast! I don't think there was a single day of downtime that they weren't working. I couldn't recommend NFB highly enough, and they will be my go-to call for any future needs!

Thank you Need For Build for remodeling two amazing bathrooms for us. We signed up with NFB to do the two bathrooms first to see how they work before we sign on a much larger project. We met with Danny and Avi and connected with them right away. Avi, our main contact, walked us through everything, from design to shopping for stones to the final details. Their work is high quality and with integrity. My husband love the results and he is not an easy person to please. Needless today, we signed on for several more projects with them.

Concrete is now setting! Need for build has been so fast, communication has been fantastic! The office staff are super helpful and the workers are very respectful of our space and area. Definitely recommend them for any interior or exterior project!

When we moved into our new house it came with no backyard, just a lovely pile of dirt. After getting several bids from various companies, we decided to go with Need For Build and I'm so glad we did! They did a retaining wall, pavers, a patio covering with lights and a fan, turf, and river rock on the side of the house. They even framed our driveway with leftover pavers at no charge! From start to finish, the project was a breeze. The Need For Build team was amazing and easy to work with. I highly recommend them for any home project, inside or out.

I took down my other review of Need For Build because I was requested to as they tried to fix the problems with their handling of my project. Once again, the communication with Need For Build is extremely poor. Now Need For Build is trying to extort money from me by trying to apply the entirety of a project that they failed to complete to another portion that they neglected to finish in a five month span. While their representative, Angelo is great at selling you on how they do their projects, actual communication completely breaks down after that, and no timelines are given, and promises are made that never materialize.

At this point, I believe that there are actually three teams. The first is sales that over promises, The second that under delivers as the build team, Third, the team that recovers money for failed projects.
Incredibly disappointed as part of the contract was displaying their Need For Build sign in front of my house as advertising.

Btw, our project was time critical as we were selling our home. Even after speaking to the owner, nothing is completely resolved and having the company come after us for work they didn’t complete is disgraceful.

Need For Build is a wonderful company to work with. I am so happy with the master bathroom that they created for me. I went from a small, outdated, falling apart, single sink master bathroom to a beautiful master retreat spa bathroom. I'm still in shock at how perfect it turned out. Angelo, the project manager, was easy to work with, and a really nice person. His crew of brothers Ramiro, Miguel, Adolfo and their friend Freddy are talented, fun to be around, and care about their work.

We had a great experience with Need for Build from start to finish. We had an issue with my driveway and hillside eroding away due to the recent heavy rain and needed a retaining wall with a drain to properly fix the issue, which our insurance denied covering. Not only was Need for Build highly responsive when we reached out, but they also came by the very next day to check it out.

In that first meeting Darrell identified the problem, gave us numerous quote options based on our financial options, desired functionality, and overall material appearance/durability, and offered to provide us with the necessary supporting evidence to rebuttal the insurance company's denial as this was a common issue in our area at the time and should have been covered. He also explained the company's financing options and warranty for the project, which were better than we had gotten from any other quote. It made it easy from the start to pick them.

Once we decided on an option for the cost, materials, and financing, the project was done within 5 days. The crew was fully certified, extremely respectful, and arrived promptly first thing in the morning without being disruptive at any point in time. Darrell was with them every day and kept us updated with the status of the project the whole time, so we weren't left wondering about any issues or delays.

The support didn't end there as the team continued to clearly communicate and assist us even after the wall was fully built. At the conclusion of the project, we faced an issue with the financing company and were still discussing the reassement with the insurance company. Darrell, Danny, and Dannie ensured everything went smoothly with both of these issues and made it clear we were a priority for them.

We would highly recommend Need For Build for any project you need and have no doubt in my mind that they would treat you with the upsmost respect and attention. We will forever be grateful for the work and support they provided and will definitely be using them again in the near future!

My experience with Need for Build was nothing short of outstanding. Aaron and Angelo were with me every step of the way building a much needed retaining wall in my front yard to address years of erosion on a steep slope. They even helped me pick out plants that will spread to further address the slope erosion. Joe Joe and his crew were wonderful. They did what I thought was the impossible and had my retaining wall done in 2 days. With the torrential rains that occurred after completion of the wall there were some issues. I called Aaron and the crew was quick to respond to address and correct the issues. Need for Build is not the cheapest but they're not the most expensive either. I will be using them for future projects including a botched pavers job I had done in November 2022 by a substandard contractor. Thanks much Aaron & Angelo!

From design and layout, to haul away and rebuild. Osher and his team were incredible. Not only did they save our home with a new retaining wall, they made it look beautiful in the process. Excellent communication during the whole project. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience.
