I've had a very positive experiences working with Ryan. I called him because my pool stopped pumping water. He was booked out two weeks for repairs. Rather than end the call he helped diagnose the problem over the phone. I tried his ideas and called him back 20 minutes later to let him know what I found. He actually answerdd my call sepote the fact that it was after 6pm and helped me diagnose the rest of the problem. He suspected there may have been air being sucked into the system and had me move a valve to isolate the problem. Thanks to his directions I inspected the floating leaf catcher and indeed discover that the gasket was folded over itself and leaking air. I reset the gasket and fixed the problem. Ryan managed to solve this problem over the phone at no cost. This isn't the first time he's saved me time and money. A year before my pool controller was coming on in the middle of the night for apparently no reason. I had picked up a hard to find used replacement controller to solve the problem only for the same problem to come back a year later. Ryan informed me that the system is designed to come on automatically when the temperature gets too low. Sure enough it was a cold winter night. What I thought was a bug n the system was in fact a feature. Once again his knowledge kept me from replacing the entire system. I buy my chemicals and supplies from Ryan as a way to pay him something for the valuable insight he has provided. So nice to have personal service in this day and age. Thanks Ryan!

My filter pump had stopped moving water. Simpson came recommended by our neighbors. Ryan was troubleshooting with me over email, and when that didn't succeed, set up an appointment with their repair technician Kevin. He was able to get the pump going again by replacing the capacitor. Happy they worked to repair the existing pump instead of trying to sell me a new one.

Ryan knows his stuff! I have several components in a four-pump system that failed due to age. My original Jandy pool company went out of business. I'm impressed that Ryan wanted pics and talked to me at length about my needs to avoid charging me for a needless service call. He knows specifics about HP ratings, etc based on obvious experience. Strongly recommend!

Simpson Pool and Spa recently did a re-plumb on our pool. The work was completed timely and professionally. How the re-plumb was completed provided us with access to value so future work could be completed easily. The plumbing was also done very neatly. I would highly recommend Simpson Pool and Spa for service and repair. They are competitively priced, responsive and do very good work. It’s a pleasure doing work with Simpson Pool & Spa.

We have a 20+ year old pool that needed a whole new pump system and complete renovation. Simpson Pool and Spa is a great local business in Poway that offers service, repair and pool supplies. They are easy to work with, reasonably priced and they respond if you have a concern. It's wise to have someone that knows what they are doing service your pool or spa to make sure chemical balance is correct and to keep an eye on the pool equipment function to avoid having potential costly problems. Please give them a try - I think you will be more than satisfied.

We hired Simpson Pool & Spa to install a new control system and salt system for our pool. The pros at Simpson did a fantastic job with the install and even found a few issues with the existing plumbing and electrical that was corrected for very little cost. Simpson's was very professional, on time, reasonably priced and even followed up with us several times to make sure everything was working to satisfaction.

I recently contacted Ryan for help with a spa issue. I initially thought it was a more serious problem but after clarifying my concern over the phone, he suspected it was timer-related and suggested I order/install new timer trippers from Amazon. With just $6, my spa is now back to working automatically every day, and I have Ryan to thank for it! I really appreciated his efficient help, knowledge, and honesty. Will definitely return to him for any future spa needs.

When it became clearly apparent that we needed a new pump and filter, I knew without a doubt that I’d talk with Ryan at Simpson Pool & Spa. Not only were we interested in protecting a large asset, we needed to be smart in how we did it. Ryan offered us a variety of options from a standard pump to more energy saving options. I do not know anyone who is more capable of evaluating energy savings, economy and time to recoup expenditure. I trust Ryan to take care of our pool and its equipment without hesitation!

This pool service was easily reached and highly knowledgeable. Would even diagnose over the phone to at least get to the root cause of pool issues. Hands down five star rating.

Ryan, the owner is quite the professional and he has a great team. Super responsive and honest business. I have been referring my clients that have pools/spas to Simpson and nothing but positive feedback over the years! Used him recently to troubleshoot pump problem with my spa and to perfect spa chemistry. Problem solved within 2 days, great price and now solid water chemistry! Appreciate the education and time.

We had an issue with the water pressure on our pool slide. I found Simpson Pool & Spa through a recommendation from my neighbor, and set up an appointment for them to come and look. A few days before, Ryan called me and when I described the problem he offered to FaceTime me, and we were able to troubleshoot over the phone. Huge thanks to Ryan and his expertise!

Very prompt and helpful team. My pool pump was revving up repeatedly so I texted them to get a service appointment. The owner texted me and told me to grease the O-ring on my pump and see if it fixed the problem. Best free advice I got! It fixed the issue and pump is running fine now. Thanks, and appreciate the free tip. I will definitely use this company again for their honesty and help. Saved me a service call fee.

Great handyman! I called my landlord and they sent over their "handyman" to attempt to fix my sticking door that had swelled from the recent humidity. He said that I'll need to get a new door and there was nothing he could do right now. So after sending him on his merry way I found Fabian on here and he came right over and sanded down the bottom of the door and my problem is fixed! Thank you Fabian.
