Had an issue with a water line causing a leak and the plumber showed up right on time and completed the job quickly and professionally! Price was great too! Can’t ask for anything more than that :)

We discovered we had a leaking water heater early in the morning & called Bill Howe around 9 a.m. We chose the company because of their reputation. Every person we spoke to over the phone; Kristi, Diana & Travis, were very nice & helpful. I first talked to Kristi & she said someone would be at our house between 11 & 2 that day. I also explained that we had quite a bit of water all over our bottom level due to the leak. We waited & mopped up the continuing leaking water as best we could & finally at 2:15 Diana called me & said the tech was wrapping up a job & would be at our house shortly. We waited. I called back at 3:15, when still nobody had arrived & was told the tech was held up at the job & he would get here as soon as he could. Again, we waited. I then called at around 3:45, 30 minutes later, & Travis told me Steven was on his way. Steven W. finally arrived between 4 & 4:15. When he got out of his truck he was completely clean & pressed. In other words, he did not look like he had done ANY plumbing that day. So, we were confused how he got "stuck" at a previous job for two hours. What transpired next I will list for ease
1. He walked in & acted like he was surprised there was water on the floor & then asked me if I had a shop vac. I was shocked & answered, sarcastically, oh, yeah, why have I not used mine to suck up all the water. I then asked him if he had one because the water had been building on the floor all day & we desperately wanted some help. He said no, he did not. When I asked if anybody that was coming to do the job, because obviously it was not him, would have one, he answered, I don't know, it really is not our job to clean up. Huh?!
2. He took some pics. Told me the the heater had to be replaced & then called a shop to see if it was in stock. He talked to the guy at least ten minutes about a BIRD that was outside his house. I now know more about this Asian bird, normally kept as a pet, but now wild, then I ever wanted. Remember, as this is going on, I am standing in water & trying to mop up water with towels.
3. After finally securing a heater, he nastily pointed to two shelves in the laundry room by the heater & barked, both of these need to come out! I was taken back by his tone & agreed. Then, when he saw my face, he recanted & said that only one had to be moved
4. We walked into our garage at around 4:30- 4:45 and he gave us the estimate. Lower end (less warranty) was $4,275. It was a gut punch. We had no choice, we needed a water heater & as obnoxious as Steven had been, we still trusted Bill Howe. So we agreed to the price & he made a joke about our payment method. I was livid. Keep us waiting all day, arrive with an attitude & then make an inappropriate joke when you quote a huge bill. Wow
5. He started trying to schedule install for that evening. By now, it was close to 5. We said no. We were exhausted & did not want a repair going on until 9 at night. He argued with us, but FINALLY listened & scheduled repair for next morning
Okay, now for good stuff. The tech, Dave R. arrived promptly shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday. He was friendly, efficient & helpful. Yes, he has a shop vac & DID clean up after the job. He was a pleasure in every way & is a real asset to the company.
In closing, Bill Howe needs to look at Steven W. & let people know that a non-working plumber will be sent out first. Also, timing needs to be improved. If one can't make it then send an alternative person.
We spent a lot of money & Steven W. made every penny feel suspect.

Service technician was able to get the problem resolved and did a great job would never know there was a problem since left job perfect with no visible damage to our house

Bill Howe is our go to company for plumbing issues. Rob A was on time and efficient and cleared our drain. He made sure I knew the options and gave me the choice of basic or a more involved cleaning.

One of the best plumber services we had in many years. We called early in the morning, and before 11 am the same day the repair was already done! Doug the technician was professional, courteous and fast! Cost was reasonable, too! Highly recommend!

Rob Altamirano came out for a service call today and was awesome to work with. Super friendly, showed up right on time, and really knew his stuff. He walked me through what was going on and got everything fixed up quickly without any hassle. It’s clear he takes pride in doing the job right. I’ve used Bill Howe a few times now, and they’ve always been reliable — Rob just reinforced why they’re my go-to. Highly recommend!

Rob responded to a plumbing emergency around midnight, took care of the situation, and returned a couple days later to replace a section of our main line. He was excellent - knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to work with. He and JJ worked together to replace the pipe. They worked hard, communicated effectively and left our front yard in as clean a shape as we could have expected. These two young men have a very bright future, and they left us extremely happy customers of Bill Howe Plumbing.

Juan came by and was able to take care of all our needs: leaking toilet and water heater issues. He was great to work with and I recommend him, and the Bill Howe company, highly.

Ricardo was very professional, courteous and thorough. He took the time to inspect my HVAC system, take readings and photos of everything then explained it all to me so I understand what’s going on. Then he gave all the information I need to make a decision and how best to proceed. Thanks!

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a pluming company. The repairman was courteous and friendly. We covered all the possibilities of my problem and what could be done to fix it.

Andrew provided amazing service going above and beyond to compete a difficult job that required adjustment to the original plan. Great finishing and cleanup. Stayed with original budget and promised time even though he was alone (two people were quoted). Overall great work. We are very satisfied!

Danny is an amazing plumber! He was super patient and worked for hours without giving up until finding our difficult leak and fixing it.
