Reviews of local pros in Poway, California

Zana Electric upgraded my service from 100 to 200 amps from the street, and upgraded my very old electrical panel. These guys did an amazing job, which included coordinating with SDG&E and the City of Carlsbad for permits and inspections. After the upgrades, they repaired all concrete and holes in the walls and finished them so well you can't even tell the work was done. They also communicated what work would be done and when, so I was always in the loop, and they clearly answered all of my questions along the way. Thanks, guys!

Zana Electric provides excellent service. They are my go-to electricians for all my electrical projects.

Zana is my go to option whenever I need any electrical service in San Diego. Armando is highly responsive. He's always available to take your call. Once at my place he was professional and very efficient at diagnosing my needs and offering the best solution. My new Tesla charger looks great. The final work was clean and fast. Highly recommended.

Armando and his team were quick to assist and correct an issue that I was unfortunately left with by another contractor (unrelated). They were professional, quick, affordable and very sensitive/kind considering the situation I was in. 100% would definitely recommend them.

Zana Electric was very responsive and made sure the job was done properly. I appreciated the communication and how quickly he came and completed the project. I'd very much recommend using their services!

The estimate they provided up front was detailed and complete. They kept me informed of progress along the way and the final cost was what I was expecting. The work was done very well and efficiently. Very happy customer.

Kevin and Jonathan did a great job completing a variety of items (installed additional breakers, installed an outdoor outlet, and replaced garage florescent lamps with LED) in a timely manner. They were kind, courteous, and had very good communication. I would definitely work with Zana electric again in the future.

We used Zana Electric to fulfill a few of our clients needs. We got nothing but great feed back from our valued clients. Armando was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Job was clean and very affordable. We highly recommend using them for any of your electrical needs at your home or business.

Friendly knowledgeable and efficient. Ismael explained all that he checked as well as recommendations for future work.

Ivan the engineer was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. In an industry full of unreliable service providers, I would highly trust, and recommend, Zana electric, and I would use them again. They fixed my solar job that another provider messed up. I wish they had done the original job, too.

Very professional and courteous service. Answered all questions and provided advice on future improvements. Completed the job immediately and at a fair price. Will recommend Zana Electric

I love working with Zana Electric. They are updating the electrical system at my 1950's-built house, as well as adding a few new circuits. I appreciate them coordinating the work with SDG&E, pulling the appropriate permits with the City of San Diego, and holding my hand throughout the entire process. Although Zana is managing several tasks, they are keeping the big picture in mind and ensuring that their work does not negatively impact the work of other subcontractors. They have been so easy to work with, friendly and professional, and I trust their know-how and expertise with all things related to electrical systems. If you have simple or complex electrical work to be done, Zana Electric is the company to call.

Zana Electric has exceeded my expectations! I had to have my electrical panel updated to a 200 amp. Not only that, SDG&E required that the panel be moved over 3 feet and digging and trenching was needed all the way to the front sidewalk. I have a concrete courtyard and garden along that path. Zana Electric coordinated everything with SDG&E and made the process so easy. There was a lot of work involved, but they always kept us informed on where we were in the process and returned our courtyard and lawn back to normal. I’m very pleased with their work and professionalism and I would highly recommend them.

Contracted with Zana to do a panel swap. Zana negotiated the burdensome HOA requirements with ease. They showed up the day of and were deep into the job within 30 minutes. The specialized workers each did their turn in the job. Everyone was polite and knowledgeable on their contribution. Swap was done on day 1, the restucco was done on day 2 and the city approval was received on day 3. Will use Zana again for any electrical work that exceeds my ability.

Great job, very professional and nice especially considering how outlandish my HOA was to them. Would very much recommend.

I'm shocked by how knowledgeable, and efficient every member of Zana Electric has been! My solar system is the cleanest install I've ever seen! They took care of every detail, answered every question, and we're friendly throughout the process. My baby slept during the install also, lol. I highly recommend and will be using them again for future projects.

I am a solar consultant with another big name player in the industry. Zana has been a tremendous installation partner of ours for quite some time. In fact, Armondo and his teams have installed somewhere around 30+ systems for me and they are my go to every single time my project falls in their service territory. Great installation practices, friendly crew members, and constant communication is key to successful solar installations and this company is fantastic at all the above. Thank you Armondo for all you do, and to your crew as well for always creating a great experience for our clients. Highly Recommend!

Excellent service! Zana Electric was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. I really appreciate that they went above and beyond to determine solutions for my situation. I'm very satisfied with the quality of work and will definitely call them again for any future electrical needs. Highly recommended!

Very professional crew. Had everything done on time and great quality of work! Highly recommend the Zana team!

Zana electric did an amazing job on my solar project.; They are one of the few companies I could find that would do a ground mount system. They explained everything in detail and showed me how to operate my system! If you’re looking for a solid team to get your solar and electrical needs done, look no further and hire Zana!

I just had an EV charger installed by Zana Electric and the experience was awesome. The crew showed up on time. They explained what they were going to do and made sure that I was OK with the plan. They then proceeded to do the work. The result was high quality, the workspace was clean, and the charger worked well when they were done. The price was also the best out of the three quotes I received. I highly recommend them. I think that they do solar with batteries, and other electrical work.
