Once again, the greediest monopoly in East county strikes again, leaving the bundled cardboard behind to fly around in the road after pick up. What are we even paying you for? Literal garbage service from a trashy company .

Very disappointed here.... Your website said you are open till 5:00, yet I got there literally at 4:31 yesterday, after racing home in 95+ degree heat, to fully load up my truck, only to find closed gates and a sign that says you close at 4:30? Your website also says you are closed on weekends? How can you run a disposal service on bankers hours? Lastly, if you truly are closed to "walk in" customers, where do you suggest I take my garbage now??

We have lived in Ramona for 31 years and have been a customer since day one. We have never had an issue. Broken trash can, dealt with right away. Thank you for your great service.

Don’t use there service!! Ann Marie and Amber follow through with nothing they say they are going to do. Always rude and snarky on the phone. Still don’t know what my bill is, what I’m being charged. Sucks because in Ramona it’s the only choice you have. Monopoly at its finest. Wish I could give zero stars

Ramona Disposal has been very patient and accommodating, as we have switched between curbside pick up and a weekly dumpster several times over the years. They always have a smile and are kind and professional, both over the phone and in person.

I appreciate their "one stop" facility, accepting both cash refund and blue bin recycle drops, electronics, hazardous waste, medical sharps and more!

We have been doing business with Ramona Disposal since we moved up here in 1998. We have used them for regular trash pickup, assorted sized dumpsters for the 3 homes we've owned, trips with our pickup to dump trash at RDS, and within the last 10 years, electronic and regular recycling services. Their service has been excellent-period. If I have had any problem, I was able to easily take care of it with a phone call. I highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of trash services in Ramona.

I made an appointment to come and drop off my hazardous waste. Staff were helpful and showed me where to go when I drove up to wrong entrance. This place actually serves all of San Diego county not just Ramona, so if you're in an unincorporated area not covered by in-city trash disposal, I highly recommend bringing your electronic and hazardous waste here, just be sure to make an appointment and check their hours thoroughly.

I have them a 3 because I was able to schedule last min but they had me waiting from 6am until 5 for their large dumpster. It didn’t arrive until dark when I was unable to do any work then they pick the dumpster up at 10 the day they are scheduled to pick up. They should have a 2 hour gap where we are told when drop off and pick up will be. Super annoyed getting 2 of my 10 days waisted. Such a bummer!

Amanda helped out with swapping out our gray trash can since it had a massive crack in the back of it.
She had great customer service.

Ramona Disposal does a really good job. I have cans but I have also had dumpster service as well. If there is ever an issue, I email and it is taken care of quickly. I don't expect flawless service and I appreciate how Ramona Disposal makes an effort to fix any issue we have. For those that post their issue on a review site, perhaps you should try contacting them directly by email? Has always worked for me. For those complaining about prices, drop down the hill and see how much more you will pay. Great value for the service.

I would not recommend setting auto draft payments. They will charge you before supplying explanation in writing when their trash cans melt. Also will dump a full load of burning trash in your back yard with out any permission.

Your staff is always quick to help via email, and whenever I have left a message for needs (bins, large item pickups, etc) - it's always a same day or next day reply. Also thank you for your community support through sponsoring events and being involved in helping our town. Our family appreciates you. 😊

It seems awfully sloppy and lazy that they only provide 35 and 96 gallon trash cans. Magically the medium bins are just not available. The most convenient size. Its not a big deal aside from most of us living on steep slopes as we are located in the mountains of SD. So your choice is a giant bin that could fit three human beings inside, or one that is cumbersome to take up a long slope or hill or driveway, or a bin that is tiny. My sneaking suspicion is so that you either throw away less, or you decide to keep your garbage for two weeks because the transport of the bin is not worth the effort. I'm a 35 year old wood worker and the large bins are very difficult to transport to the road even for me. I'm not a wuss. Its also interesting that only the recyclable bins can be 64 or medium sized. That's required by state law to make recycling more accessible and to encourage it. Its lazy to not offer the medium bin. I end up just throwing whatever anywhere to balance the weight. They should read their motto every once and a while. Or change it since they dont follow it.

Always had a good experience and the rates seem to be the going rate actually cheaper than the other landfills or transfer stations in San Diego. The staff is always courteous and I love the fact that you can recycle appliances, cardboard , electronics, metal with no charge. It’s also a great thing that every other Saturday (the first and third Saturdays of the month) they will have clean Harbor on site so that you can recycle paints.
