Tom and his crew safely removed a massive pine tree and stump from my property. Months later when I was having the yard graded for pavers, the stump ended up being a few inches above grade. Tom & his crew returned within 24 hours to grind it lower. Overall, they did a great job removing the tree and stump at a competitive price. I would definitely use Estate Tree Service again.

These guys are awesome. Clean up after. Takes the time to tell you how the trees should look and what you should do, not just chop it up. And mine was a big hill!! Nice job

Very efficient team. They work quickly, respect the property and did an amazing job. One of our Chinese Elm trees was split in half during the last major storm. Being that is was still a young tree, I thought we were going to lose it. Yet Jim and the guys did a fantastic clean up of the tree and it’s been doing great!

Tom and his crew were very professional and did an amazing job. I have a property where the back yard was fully overgrown with weeds and other vegetation. Tom and his crew took the backyard down to dirt and cleaned up all the debris. I would definitely hire Estates Tree Service again.

Estates Tree Service did a great job with the removal and trimming of some trees on my property. I called in the morning and Tom was able to come to my home the next morning for a estimate. I called later in the day and got the job scheduled with him based off the price he provided me. The day of the job they were quick, clean and professional. I own a rental property in the Estates but live out of state, so finding someone dependable was essential. My neighbors, who used Tom recently, referred him to me for palm tree pruning. He responded promptly and professionally, and despite being out of town, he made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

I needed a bunch of brush cutting on a steep-ish hillside. While Tom's price was ~20% higher than the other quotes I got, he was able to explain the situation and needs to me much better than the others, seemed more confident and reliable, and had a verifiable license and was bonded, so I went with him. I decided to hire him 18 months after his initial estimate, and he increased the estimate by ~4%, so it seemed like a fair adjustment. The whole team seemed competent, nice, quick, and relatively clean and punctual in their work. I had a great experience. I'd recommend them.

SUBSEQUENT NOTE: In light of the company's response, I want to be clear that they were comparably priced but seemed WELL worth any price difference. I would suggest them for their honesty, good quality work, insurance, peace of mind, etc., even though they might have been slightly more expensive than the individuals I spoke to.

Called them about my cat being stuck in a tree and they came immediately and were genuinely eager to help. They got him down quickly and safely. They’re very professional and kind people, I really cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely call them again for any tree related needs. 😁

Looks like most folks that have left reviews have had positive experiences with Estates Tree Service and the front end of my experience was also positive. I see the Trucks around the Estates and based on the 7 positive Google reviews I called them to handle my trees which were getting out of hand. Tom was quick to respond to my call and come out to give me an estimate. We walked the property and he left me with a written quote, several days later we scheduled a date for the work. Shortly after arriving, I received a call from Tom indicating that he missed a tree when he provided an estimate and it would cost more than he previously quoted. I was obviously not happy with this, but I understand things happen. What put me off was his absolute lack of accountability for missing that tree during our meeting. He kept referring to the written quote spelling out 7 trees “not 8” and he had already done the work on the 7 trees. What am I supposed to do? My only choices were to pay him extra than what we agreed upon or have one tree left untrimmed. After complaining he offered to discount the extra tree. I don’t know of any homeowner that would ask for all but one tree in their front yard to be trimmed, but he was going to hold me to what he mistakenly wrote on his estimate. This was his mistake that he made at my expense.
Work was very well done. He does good work. No complaints about the work or the front end communication. What I have a problem with is not sticking to our agreement and to come home to two broken (and repaired) fence posts (That I share with a neighbor so it’s also their fence that was damaged) and a big oil stain smack dab in the middle of my driveway. I of course appreciate that he repaired the fence, but to come home to this with no heads up was very unprofessional and when I called understandably upset he blew me off.
In a very condescending tone: “It’s only a couple of fence posts” “if that stain bothers you that much I’ll come back and power wash your driveway.” I was upset and raised my voice we both matched tones which I’m sure contributed to this escalating. I’m sure Tom and I have differing opinions on who initiated this escalation.
To his credit he was at my house 10 minutes after we hung up power washing my driveway, but it should have been cleaned up to begin with and It didn’t completely go away. When it was time to pay him, I reminded him that we would be using a credit card which we agreed to during our initial visit (for a fee) and he said he couldn’t take credit cards now because his system was recently hacked and compromised. How is that my problem? I asked if Paypal was an option and he said he didn’t know what Paypal was. There are a lot of options in the estates for tree trimming and I'm sure more affordable services. I will not be using Estates Tree Service again, but not because of a lack of quality of work it’s because of the flip flop on our initial agreement and the mess they left. I also have to stain the unfinished fence posts myself

We have used Estates Tree Service twice. Both times, they have done an excellent job! The crew is nice, they clean up well, and the head of the team knows his trees. I will definitely hire them for my next tree trimming job.

Jim and his crew from Estates Tree Service did an amazing job removing a large pine tree next to our house. They were extremely careful and mindful of their surroundings to ensure nothing was accidentally damaged in the removal process and left the area clean after the job was complete. The area looks great and gave us a ton a space back since we also had the stump ground down. I would highly recommended them to anyone that needs tree service.

My neighbor hired this company to remove monster eucalyptus trees that bordered our properties.
From start to finish is was truly an amazing experience to watch a systematic plan to safely remove huge trees without causing damage to both properties.

Great work - professional from quote to cleanup. Needed 2 large old eucalyptus removed and several other trees trimmed. Quoted a good price and completed everything on time and on budget. I'll gladly use Estates next time.

Best tree service we have ever gotten. They showed up on time. Jim and Tom were great communicators and made sure crew understood the goals of the job. They did a great job trimming 3 California Pepper trees. Did not damage any plants or structures under the trees. And did a great job with the clean-up. Highly reccomend this company.

Very happy with the Estates Tree Service. Had some palm trees removed today. They were on time. The crew was friendly. Each crew-member said good morning. They were fast. They got right to work and finished within a few hours, and they did a great job cleaning up after the job. Would definitely hire again.

Could not be happier with the service I received from Estate Tree service. Their crew (sadly) quickly removed a troublesome tree. Must have had 10 different men doing the work at various times. They were quick, friendly and did not leave a leaf in sight. Plus, they were very reasonably priced!
