Great experience with Pool Time. The team was very professional and helpful as a new pool owner converting to salt and adding a heater we need some additional guidance to make sure we were operating the system correctly. They stopped by several times after installation to make sure thing were running correctly.

Pool Time built a beautiful pool in our established back yard. When digging the pool they used a conveyor belt system to remove the dirt so as not to disturb the existing yard too much. The pool turned out great. They service it now and it always looks good.

I had my pool pump burn out during the Covid19 crisis. I called several pool companies but could get no responses. I reached Pool Time on the first call and they had someone out that day. The pump was replaced at a very fair price and I liked their full service approach so much that I changed my monthly service to Pool Time as well.
Great Full Service company with lots of experience, prices are reasonable and they are reliable. What more do you need from a Pool Service? -
Our pool guy Brandon is so low key. He’s very timely and responsive when I text him. He checks on the pool functions for me weekly. He lets me know if I need anything and he is very knowledgeable in his craft.
The front office staff are friendly and fast when you call. I highly recommend pool time! -
We’re loyal patrons of Pool Time (since we moved in 20 years ago). They maintain our pool, troubleshoot problems, and completely remodeled our pool and deck about 10 years ago. We were super happy. We have recommended them many times.

After a weeks delay on the start time, Pool Time workers got in there to replace a skimmer & a small section of the deck on our 35+ year old pool. Demo and replacement of the skimmer was done in one day by a great crew of professionals. Long day but they found the problem in a cracked pipe. During that same time they removed tree roots the size of my arm and leg. Day 2 they spent time with us to form the deck and pour the cement and perfectly match the exposed aggregate to our existing deck. Everything was done to our satisfaction by a great crew of hard working professionals. Highly recommended!!

We recently moved into a new home with a pool. Pool Time was the company hired to inspect the pool and make the necessary repairs. We liked working with them and hired them to do weekly maintenance. They have been great! Hugo and Alfredo are both wonderful!

We chose Pool Time to construct our pool/spa combo last July (2017). They seemed professional and they had a competitive bid. During the construction process, we experienced a lot of set backs, delays and mistakes on the part of Pool Time. They did make some things right for us but in the end, it seemed like they just wanted our money without providing a quality completed project. Considering how much we paid them for our pool, it seemed like we had to intervene A LOT in order to keep the project going and to correct their mistakes. Our biggest issue was the decking. Within less than a week of the pour, we had all sorts of cracking and discoloration. I contacted the owner, Joe, who came out an acknowledged the issues. He told us to wait a few months to see how it looked then. After waiting nearly 6 months, we had 20+ cracks and substantial discoloration. The owner, Joe, said he would make it right and offered to "redo" the decking. Fast forward a few months later, we ask Pool Time to redo our decking and the owner basically gives us the "sorry, we don't cover that." "We don't warrant that." Without the help of Pool Time, we reached out to the company who poured our decking. It was sub-contracted out. The very nice and honest man offered to redo a portion of our decking and to stain it. What did Pool Time offer? A couple months of free service. Really? In fact, the concrete company no longer partners with Pool Time. Apparently, they never got paid what they were due. If I had to do it over again, I would not choose this company. The owner seems nice but he was dishonest with me and went back on his word. Their complete lack of disinterest to make the situation right is unacceptable. I would think twice before choosing this company for your pool construction/service needs. The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is because they did make a few things minor things right. Also, the pool itself (finish) turned out beautiful. Just wish they would have stepped up and kept their promises to fix the decking. If you do go with this company, get EVERYTHING in writing. Don't trust the verbal promises and be prepared to "micro manage" your sales guy to make sure he gets things done right.

I am in the process of purchasing a home in Roseville with an existing swimming pool, and I needed to have the pool and associated equipment thoroughly inspected prior to purchasing the home. After much research, I selected Pool Time which was also highly recommended by the home inspection company I used for the residence. Brian, from Pool Time, conducted the inspection. He was quite thorough and he explained every step of the inspection process. I asked several questions during his inspection and his responses were clear and easy to understand. After the inspection, we discussed his findings and the options available to me to address each finding and the cost of any repairs or improvements. He provided a written report of his inspection in one (1) business day. The price of the inspection was comparable to those I received from other companies during my research. I highly recommend Pool Time to those in need of a pool inspection.

I hired Pooltime for their full service maintenance which included having our pool vacuumed. Unfortunately, their service technician never did so leaving the bottom of our pool covered in leaves. His service card showed he never vacuumed the pool. I suspect their technician was simply performing the wrong level of service rather than just being lazy. Pooltime never responded to multiple emails I sent them with photos of the issue. You can see in the attached photo what our pool looked like an hour after their, "full service." After a few calls to their office, the owner contacted me saying he would stop by and make the issue right. He was apologetic but he never stopped by and he apparently didn't speak with the technician. At this point, I'd wasted way too much time just trying to get them to do the job I hired them to do. The next week after we spoke, the technician still didn't vacuum the pool. I called to cancel my service and to ask for a refund. They mailed me an incomplete refund which was about $40 short. My subsequent requests for a complete refund for the month were ignored. If they ever get around to providing a full refund for the work they never did, I'll update this review. Mistakes happen all the time and I don't expect perfection. Pooltime was given plenty of opportunities to fix their performance. Based on the ignored emails, unkept promises to improve, and incomplete refund, I'd recommend using someone else for your pool maintenance.

Pool Time has been maintaining my parents' pool for years. They are in their late 80's and the guy that services the pool is always so nice to them. My mom constantly tells me what a great guy and how he does such a good job. Also, when something was wrong with the motor, they called me and kept me up to date on what was going on. This was helpful because I live out of state.

Pool inspection was great, and thorough. Unfortunately they don’t provide you the report digitally like all other companies during our home purchase. It was $300 which I’ve learned is a bit expensive. But I was happy with the man who came out and performed it.
The customer service though is quite rude and outdated. I chose not to use them moving forward due to their costs, and customer service. -
It doesn’t get better than this folks. I’ve had five pool service companies. Full stop, Pool Time Pool Spa and all the people there couldn’t be better. Thank you Juan and Theresa amd Laurie and all. Blue water every day of the year. Any concerns answered to immediately. Love your professionalism and warm kind service! JOE!! Consider a bump in pay for these great peeps! 🐥 😃

We have been a client for over 10 years now. before this house we try to do it ourselves and we could never get it right. The pool turned green countless times and it was always a pain to stay on top on it. We had Pool Time did a full remodel on our pool and even small issues that I didn’t like they offered to redo it. Who does that? I also referred countless pool installs and remodels to this company and all my friends/clients have been extremely happy. I’ve only had 2 issues in 10 years and it was mostly due to a change in service guys and access. That’s so reasonable. Both times I called the front office and it was fixed. Billing is easy and these guys run a professional Operation year round. Thanks Pool Time for always keeping our pool looking amazing all year long!

These guys did an amazing job for us. We used pool time a few years ago for a brand new pool and spa in Roseville and we were very happy with their final product. We just went ahead and built another pool and spa with them. They didn’t disappoint at all. They were right on time and finished the project in about eight weeks. Joe is a great guy and always gets the job done. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking to build a new pool.

If you have the opportunity to work with Will Tice, definitely do! Will was the deciding factor for us in how we decided which pool contractor to work with. Will understood our vision and helped us make it even better. Will helped us turn our vision for our dream backyard into a reality. We couldn't be happier! Will had great attention to detail every step of the way to make sure everything turned out just right as we wanted. We are also thankful for the support that Mike provided us along the way when we had operational questions. Thank you Pool Time again for building us such an awesome pool! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing.

We enjoyed having our 20+ year old pool resurfaces in spring 2022. Great salesperson and the work crews were excellent and efficient and they did a good cleanup job, too. We selected the darkest color of micro-pebble and the water has a dark blue look as a result. The end result looks great !

Update: unfortunately I was hoping for a positive service recovery and updated positive review here however it doesn't appear that it will go that way. So the company is now threatening to place a lien on property because we will not pay them until the outstanding work is completed or the issues we are having with cement and pool equipment are taken care of. From my experience and if I had to to do ot over again, I would NOT HIRE pooltime to install or refinish a new pool or pool decking. This company acts as if the 40K or possibly more you spend on a pool gives them the right to make all decision and consult only with you afterwards.. and if your not happy ohh well pay up or well put a lien on your house. Not exactly the typ of buisness I can promote. Good luck for whomever chooses them to do thier pool... I would hope you have a better expernce then we have had.
Currently based on our experience with pooltime, I would find it very hard to recommend them. We started this project back in February. They had us use Lyon finacial for our financing as that is who they said they refer people to and use. The project was supposed to start in April, they came for one day and then we didn't see them again until I called in May. The project had had problem after problem and at one point they were going to pool Grey concret for our pool decking when I had been clear I wanted to pick our the style and color.. but they had never set up a meeting or sent anyone to the house with samples, ect. The pool wasn't finished till August 2023 however we are no dealing with more issues. They put in a wifi pump which had we been asked about would have declined because that section of our property has poor wifi signal so it's not practical for us... then there is the issue of our pool lights that were installed but to our knowledge don't have a physical GFI switch to turn them on and off, or the fill float that wasn't set correctly that caused the pool to flood the yard, or the cracks now forming in pool decking... I could keep going. At this point I. running out of hope that pooltime is willing to make those things right.. everytime we bring something up they say ohh well that will cost you more and we will send over an addendums.. last time I checked fixing problems or things you didn't clarify or ask me about shouldn't result in me paying you more money.
Let's also be clear when you use lyon finacial, once Pooltime asks for the first disbursement the loan is locked in and they will not accept any additional addendums or cost, so for anything that comes up aftrr the first stage disbursement you will have to pay out of pocked. If you have 5,000 to 10,000 liquid to do that then your probably fine. but if your financing or have other projects going on, the addendums can add up.
The large majority of our feelings about this company come from the lack of communication. Apparently they have a construction team and a project manager. We made our proposal contract with constriction leaf, but once started I don't believ the project/finacial manager ever reached out to keep us updated on dates or what stage s of project we were starting or finishing.
Additionally nobody ever very clearly went over our equipment that would be replaced and or what it would be replaced with. The communication with us the client has not been great and it's clear they communicate between construction and projects/finacial manager is also not. that great.
So we have been dealing with getting this pool done since April. That's 5 months and if you count our in person meeting in February it's been 7 months for what was supose to take 5-6weeks plus about 2 weeks to draw up proposal to start.
Currently we are wishing we had never done the pool or went with pooltime. I am hoping that at some point they can do service recovery here and I can add an edit to this review that is positive. -
Brian inspected my pool before i purchased the house, he then had my pool drained, cleaned, rebalanced and even help cap the old failing solar system that was leaking.
Throughout the experience he was fair , knowledgeable and kind. He found ways to save me money and overall my new to me pool looks fantastic. rest assured your best interest is in hand when they are suggesting work needed.
I am now a service customer. -
We went with Pool Time after receiving three other quotes. Although they were not the lowest (they were not the highest either) they were professional, honest, and did not try to upsell us. Angelo was great and even accommodated us coming into the shop on a day off so that he could work with our schedule to pick out tile. All around a great company to work with, and I see why they have been in business so long. Thanks again to Poo Time!
