BWD gardens did an incredible job transforming our back yard into a beautiful and inviting outdoor living space.

Brian helped us completely reimagine the layout and make the best use of our space. He is a very thoughtful and creative designer, with a keen eye for details, and knowledgeable about his materials (plants, stone, mulch, lighting, etc.). He is also an excellent listener, and was great about balancing our ideas with his own - he incorporated our wants/needs while steering us gracefully to a plan that would be successful. It was really fun working with him. And then his team was efficient, professional, and friendly, and executed his plan beautifully, ahead of schedule!

We ended up with a space that is exactly what we were hoping for, but not something that we could have dreamed up on our own. We’re excited to watch our plants grow and enjoy spending time in our new garden!

Brian and his team transformed our unusable backyard into a tropical oasis! Brian really took the time to listen to what we’d want out of our space and he reused so much of what was already there. I really really liked that - old wood & flagstone was repurposed and tuned into something beautiful.

The crew was always on time and extremely professional. They had great ideas and we improvised when the yard presented random quirks - it didn’t derail the work. The yard was completed before schedule and every minor detail was looked into.

We worked with BWD to turn our backyard from a literal dirt pit into a water-wise, drought-resistant, CA native plant-filled paradise. Elements included a stone paver patio, custom pergola, two swales, fire pit, play structure installation, irrigation, deer fence, wood fence and gates, and planting.

We’re thrilled with the result and highly recommend BWD!

We sought out the services of Rene and his team after seeing the amazing work he did on our neighbor's front yard. He came highly recommended by them and after seeing the work they did for us, we can see why. We had a huge clean up job in our back yard and a bad foxtail weed infestation. Rene and his team came in and did an amazing job clearing, treating and laying down weed control and pea gravel as requested. They were very polite and worked diligently, quickly and to a high standard. They were very clean in the way they operated and left our back yard in an incredible state for a very reasonable price. We are looking at further jobs we want doing at some point and will be reaching back out to Rene and his team. Would highly recommend.

Can I just say how grateful we are that Dago and his crew continue to tolerate us through multiple projects? We started with big trash collecting juniper shrubs that had an oddly strong odor. His crew quickly removed them. Unfortunately my husband and I are the opposite of a green thumb and couldn’t decide on a solution with curb appeal that met our requirements for very, VERY low maintenance. After a year of indecision, we finally moved forward and could not be more thrilled! They completely changed the look of our home.

Lorenzo is very nice he communicates very well and responds quickly to text messages. He’s very thorough with his yard work and does a GREAT JOB and his prices are affordable. I’ll definitely use him again.

This company is above and beyond what you can imagine for design ideas,knowledge of ALL types of work: landscape, ironwork,electric,painting,rock design, architectural originality. I cannot stress highly enough how pleased we were with having them totally transform our 70's backyard into a modern mecca, with our gazebo being re-imagined and rebuilt, a gorgeous "wave design" (David Manlove's artistic concept,)and the idea to apply metal sheathing to some old cinder block walls all around the garden. You NEED this company!

I've been extremely satisfied with all the work that David and his crew from Indian Rock Landscapes have done (and this includes several projects, big and small). Their work for me has involved a full range of design and construction--landscaping, creative stone work and drainage, concrete and foundation work, a variety of carpentry projects (from decks to framing), turning a dilapidated "shed" into a beautiful guest room, installing windows and doors, fabricating handrails...I could go on. They keep to a schedule, arrive when they say they'll be there, and communicate in a timely way. They're very attentive to environmental concerns and conscientious about clean-up. Friends and neighbors admire their artistry. I recommend them highly.

David and his crew at Indian Rock have done three projects for me, ranging in size from small to very large. The work has included building extensive dry stack walls, retaining walls, hundreds of feet of redwood fencing, complicated gates, and flagstone and other paths, as well as some planting, irrigation, replacement of soil, and placement of aesthetic boulders and smaller rocks. As I am a repeat customer, I have obviously been happy with the work. The quality has been consistently outstanding. The dry stack walls, in particular, are beautiful and receive compliments from all who see them. The team has been uniformly professional, helpful, and friendly.

We did a significant landscaping project, including re-leveling our back yard, creating new hand-built rock walls, installing irrigation and outdoor lighting, building new fences, building a playhouse for our daughter, rebuilding concrete walkway and stairs, creating a custom dog run, and installing all new plants. It was a big job! We chose Indian Rock because we trusted their ability to do everything with excellence; we intend to live in our house for decades to come, and wanted something we'd love. David is also very transparent about project costs and charges a fair rate for his high-quality work. His team is also very friendly (in addition to very skilled). I highly recommend them!

Can't recommend enough - friendly, responsive and timely. They originally did a big cleanup of my front yard, then shifted to bi-weekly maintenance. The work is top notch - you can easily tell the difference before/after. They're also flexible and tackle bigger projects if needed. Look no further if you need landscaping!

I'm glad we got their help with trimming our plants and help to manage the weeds. Our yard looks amazing! What's important is to communicate exactly what you need: I tied bright landscaping "tape" onto the plants we wanted them to keep. It's always best not to micromanage people, better to have good directions. They were precise and thorough in their work. I would definitely recommend their work and will be going to them in the future again.
